Great video can't wait for part two! I have a suggestion not everyone might know: It's about the canceled comeback "End of Game" by Craxy that has already been recorded. To give a little bit of context: Craxy debuted with Aria after that they went on a long hiatus but came back with Gaia and a new lore called worldview Zero. They revealed that during the hiatus they pre-filmed all the material for their new lore and we got a lot of teaser/concept videos for this alongside the music(videos). This all continued until we were supposed to get the last of the 4 releases "End of Game", the ceo told us they would cancel this comeback bc it doesn't fit with their current and planned production quality anymore and instead come back with a different one that has nothing to do with their previous lore. This how we got their comeback called "nugudom". Later the ceo (who has a Twitter acc) would post some sneak peeks of "End of Game" content such as parts of the MV & later the "fourth goddess" album cover. As far as I remember he also said that it's not entirely impossible that he would release "End of Game" but nothing has been decided yet if and when he would do it. So I anticipated it that we would get it someday... But recently a member unexpectedly was removed from the group and tbh I don't know if we're now able to get this at all for at least copyright reason as there is a member in this content that's no longer under the company and I'm not sure if they even can release that under these circumstances. Sorry for the long comment but tbh I don't think non-fans would properly understand this whole situation without this bc there's just so much layers to it👁👁

-Lost shots of Loona - Butterfly MV have been mentioned before by members. -Chungha stated that Bare & Rare pt. 2 was already recorded and filmed but she ended her contract with MNH so it's a lost media. -Apparently some SM older dance practice videos (mostly 2nd gen) were available to watch at the office building, but they were never uploaded online. -2002 World Cup Music Show Broadcast footage. -Not exactly lost media but After School - Bang MV is so LQ even in official channels, compared to other MVs at the same time. We may never see such a good MV in decent quality
jalapeño is a case of lost media in kpop that bothers me til this day... this song was supposed to be a collab between lucas and hendery from wayv but lucas went on hiatus a day before its release and eventually left the group years later, so it's very unlikely that we'll ever have anything besides the teasers of the mv. i don't stan lucas and i'm really glad he left but damn i wanted to hear this song so BAD, hendery's lines sounded fire... i still have my hopes though !
Ok so i was there... I remember someone leaked the whole song and it was high quality. I thought about converting it into mp3, then i thought "they will release it anyways", changed my mind and waited for their release. The person who uploaded the video deleted it when the Lucas scandal became hot topic. Edit: it's not about Jalapeno but someone leaked Kiss by NCT Dojaejung before it's release day too. And I remember an Aespa stage got leaked early. Those employees are constantly getting rich with those leaks 💀

I remember seeing the video of Heechul taking off Hangeng's mask. There was only one, horrible quality, and I saw it here on youtube like 15 years ago. I tried to look it up again a few years ago and was surprised by everyone saying there were no videos of that, and that SM got rid of all of them. The only thing I remember is Heechul looking very serious, then turning around and taking off his mask, can't recall anything else. Tbf I was a child and a big Heechul fan, but the quality was shit, I was still unable to distinguish any of them, and by then Hangeng had just left the group, so I never rlly knew a lot abt him until after I grew up.

Another lost media may be the debut stage of Girls' Generation which was recorded on Mcountdown. It wasn't released so the official debut stage is known to be on Inkigayo. I know that this is not music, but knk used to upload a lot of videos to their youtube channel, videos of the members playing around, talking, and doing fun stuff. I remember one of two members (jihun and seungjun) laying in seungjuns bed, and jihun saying “there’s a christmas tree, it must be christmas”, i loved than video 😩 but since their original agency disappeared, all those videos have been deleted and cannot be found, only small parts of the video i mentioned can be found in edits and compilations made by fans

Jessica and Crystal filmed a second season of their reality show, as well as recorded a duet album before Jessica was removed from SNSD. With Jessica’s departure and Crystal not renewing her contract with SM a few years later, both pieces of media will likely never be released (unless someone leaks them). Another piece of SNSD ‘lost media’ is the original MV for MrMr, which was lost due to corrupted filming equipment. You can see pieces of the original MV in what got released (the underground parking lot scenes), but the original MV has never been recovered.
Mark of NCT mentioned during baggie Jeans promotions that The Seventh Sense had been pass along to several groups and several changing Line ups, Among these line ups and groups and that no one really kept there demos because they all thought it would just be a song for the traineees. While not giving any Pacifics away for line up away members of Aespa, Red velvet, Girls Generation, Exo, and BoA interviews all are believed to have recorded parts of the song and or the song entirely because of interviews they have all given about how about recording a debut song that they didn’t end up with but was released by an SM group
Not sure if you already plan on putting this in part 2, but I also wanna mention all the le sserafim and Kim Garam content that didn't get released. All of the members, while preparing for the debut, filmed vlogs. We sadly never got the Garam vlog. Another pre-debut content which the group filmed is a trip to jejudo. We only have a polaroid of all of the members from that trip and the video itself never got released. I also wanna mention that Garam most likely had already recorded songs for the second album. This last one isn't really relevant to other le sserafim stans, but is to me as a fan of Garam - the documentary. All of Garam's parts got cut out and I'm just really sad I'll never get to see that part of her journey. We can only guess how much more content they filmed that we're never gonna see even a glimpse of. (Please someone in HYBE leak it pleeeeheeease 😭😭)
Speaking of content with a member that left the group, I think Stray Kids have a lot of songs that used to feature Woojin as well before he left the group, but his lines were re-recorded by other members. Usually Bang Chan works on his songs long before we get to hear them, maybe there were songs on Go Live that originally had Woojin featured, who knows?

I would add Woojin (ex member of Stray Kids) in the original Astronaut MV. Woojin left the group in 2019 and SKZ were planning to have a mini album called "Cle Levanter" in November of that year but since Woojin left , JYP pospone it to december. In RUclips a user made a video where you can see Woojin in some scenes of the MV but they probably were cut. I remember that in the last scene when they were wearing white clothes you can see someone else was there, in the fisrt scene of the video you can count 9 persons and also, in some other shots you can see someone else in a sweater (it's not Hyunjin or the other members bc no one else was wearing something like that) Its obvious that Woojin filmed the video and the songs of the album but since he left, everything was recorded and edited again. As an ot7 Monbebe, there's some things I think about sometimes. One, the All About Luv album photobook. In a live, Minhyuk showed Monbebes a picture on his phone where he said it was Shownu, but it was Wonho as Shownu had a completely different outfit. When the album started pre orders, there was a Wonho version of the album listed but it was canceled for the people that ordered that version. The second one is a theory which is why Gasoline was pulled from the Fantasia X album. I'm thinking that it was pulled last minute because it still has Wonho's vocals. This one has more merit than Gasoline. This is a recent discovery which Wonho's With You's pre chrous. You can hear a voice that sounds similar to I.M's. It's never confirmed to be for a sub unit that two members had before getting scrapped or for Monsta X as a whole. Another song from Fantasia X that might have an ot7 version is Zone. In the summer of 2018, I.M showed off a beat sample of the song Zone in a VLive(rip). Next song is one part of Jooheon's Intro: Ambition which made its debut at the 2018 MAMA. It had different lyrics than the final version. It's not confirmed if it's going to be short intro or a part of song. If it was for an intro, it was sadly not the intro for their next two albums before Jooheon kept the song for himself. I remember seeing that the members confirmed that there was supposed to be a Korean version of their English song Misbehave. Lastly, the audio version of Sambakja which Jooheon and I.M refused to release, but it might be recorded, idk Edit: I forgot about the ot7 version of the Middle of the Night music video. Wonho's vocals were in music video, but the video seemed to be quickly rerecorded
idk if this could also count as "lost media", but i remember a dance performance of eternally by txt being teased for a halloween release back in 2022. of course after the tragedy in itaewon, it was never released as it was meant to celebrate halloween. i remember a dance practice of dice in halloween customes being released by nmixx a few days before halloween, but i think it was deleted. Edit: what i mean is maybe it happened w other groups too

it happened with the boyz as well, they were goin to release a Halloween dance practice of their song Whisper with costumes and I think some other content, but ofc with the tragedy it became lost media and only the special PC's they had taken with the costumes were sold and shown to the public

fun fact - 5 is actually a complete myth! So, he could only show his face on certain music shows due to his Visa disallowing appearances on certain channels (this is to do with certain entertainment channels having closer links to the Korean government itself, and thus having stricter guidelines to what/who can or can't be broadcasted). He wore a mask on certain music shows, but on others he was replaced by another person - and in a couple performances even a woman - who wore his mask. However, the reason we don't have footage of Heechul taking his mask off is that it never happened. Heechul never claimed it happened and Hangeng, iirc, outright denied it happening in an interview around 2018 I believe? We have the known schedules of which music shows Super Junior performed on at the time, and footage exists for every performance of Twins wherein Hangeng wore the mask. Not a single one shows Heechul pulling the mask off. Also, just logically - if it did happen, you'd think there would be uproar in the Korean media? But not a single Korean article exists from the time on the topic. Fun story, but no - Hangeng never had his mask pulled off on stage. And yes, laws did get relaxed soon after meaning Hangeng could promote (mostly) as normal.

the exo members in their cream soda comeback live had said there is a recording of peter pan that includes johnny singing some of kyungsoo's lines (the cinderella part) and the one who has it in their computer is no other than chanyeol. i think sm when reuploading the live to their youtube channel cut the part where they talk about it but it would be so awesome to listen that demo if chanyeol gets permission to post it somewhere
I have some suggestions of some cases for the following parts (It is written by a translator since I do not know how to speak English :[ ) iKON I DECIDE OT7: This iKON album was already ready before B.I left the group, he even participated in the production of almost all the songs on the album (except for Flower, which was composed by DK, who together with Bobby became in the mains producers of iKON after the departure of B.I). If I remember correctly, at some point it was said that the MV was also ready, and even in many parts of the choreography you can see the space that Hanbin was going to occupy. MULTIPLE UNRELEASED SONGS BY YG ARTISTS: The best known case is CL, if I remember correctly she had an entire album and even MVs ready for her future comebacks before leaving the company. But she and other former YG artists have unreleased songs that remained with the company under contracts. Some other cases of this are Bobby's unreleased songs that were heard during episodes of iKON TV and the supposed album that Bigbang was going to release after Still Life (There is even a small fragment of a song that was going to belong to the album). Also Gdragon, when he was still in YG, said that he had many plans and that he had an album already ready to release within the company. DIMENSION (iKONxWINNER): I really don't know much about this but on the YG channel there is a video that seemed to hint at a project where iKON and Winner were going to collaborate. I suppose that due to the departure of Nam Tae Hyun from Winner (who also appeared in the video) they canceled said collaboration
08:21 Hangeng actually did not appear in a bunch of performances of their first singles. A female back up dancer (Yoon Hyelim, who work(ed) for Pledis lately) was actually on stage with them instead of Hangeng up until U in 2006. Also, SuJu KRY has at least one scrapped album circa 2010-2016. The guys have talked about it quite a few times. And some of those songs were included in later material: Dorothy, ...ing, Shadowless. At Gwanghwamun of Kyuhyun was also a KRY project originally. idk if we already have the whole setlist of that album or if there are still more KRY songs being kept from us

Heechul really did a lot to show his love for Hankyung… he even risked them both being jailed or super junior disbandment.. he took the mask off because Hankyung was crying behind the scenes… Heechul cares so much he’s so lovely 💖😭😭😭😭…. The mask could also be a reference to Jojo’s bizarre adventure part 2: battle tendency.
i am personally not a fan of heechul but i have to admit that he was always a good friend to han geng. i remember after geng left the group he sent heechul his first solo album and heechul held it up on camera during his radio show, and a few years ago he publicly defended geng's decision to leave sme, too (and then in the same breath criticized the members of exo who left, so.... i was quickly reminded why i don't like him LOL)

@Vivi-Violet every member of exo who left supposedly did so for reasons of mistreatment and if that was really the case (it was for geng so presumably it would be for other people as well) then messing up the choreography is a weird thing to gripe about when you know someone is dealing with abuse.
one of my favorite ones top of mind is Ateez's dingo prank video where they only uploaded Wooyoung and Seonghwa's video and the preview of Yunho and San's is at the end of the video but it was never released it's really shallow, very different from a lot of cases for why kpop lost media occurs, this one is just a ??? moment for many atinys
Everything lost during Lucasgate too 🥴 the members sent so many bubbles hinting at the new album and photoshoots… not to mention Jalapeño which ultimately the dance performance was leaked thus the song, but the mv was never seen. Prompting SM to sent WayV into a two hear hiatus instead of doing their job. Anyway they’re doing better now, stream On My Youth and prepare for Ten’s Solo 😊

Infinite had two versions shot for there Destiny MV. ver A had a storyline while ver B was just a regular MV. Infinite were supposed to release both at different times from what I remember. But Ver A never got released out of respect for a plane crash tht recently happened at the time. The company explained it was cause ver A had a scene tht involved a plane crashing. If you look up the MV the MV says ver B but there is no ver A due to the things mentioned above. I don't think anyone has leacked or uploaded the ver A mv but it's been literally 10 years so who knows maybe someone did.
I don't know wether Ab6ix's vivid albums were reprinted or not, but there are two extras in my version of the album that he is on... Edit: also, I will always be sad about Pledis never releasing the recorded version of heaven. We know it exists... they have a dance practice online... but goddamm... I wanna listen to it in high quality!!!!

One more lost media from Loona, not very relevant, but Chuu's photos from 2023 Season Greetings. They edited her out because of everything, even though it was her color turn. And a lot of photoshoots from them, not only the ones that we only have one photo (like HyunJin in Paris, or HeeJin, HyunJin and HaSeul in Japan), but the photoshoots made with the trainees. We see it s lot on LOONATVs, but since not all the members in these photoshoots are Loona members, it never came out. Even the blurry members are still blutry members, since we dont know who are they, half of them
I'd like to add: 1. The OT9 version of Stray Kids' Clé: Levanter album tracks except Double Knot. We all know Woojin left the group days before the album release and days after Double Knot (the first pre-release), which means the album was ready to be released. SKZ had to re-record all tracks in the album with the new formation, which cause the album release postponed. Also SKZ had done filming the MV for their second pre-release single Astronaut with Woojin in it, so JYPE also edited it out, marking Astronaut as SKZ's first OT8 release. 2. OT7 Version of NMIXX - Love Me Like This MV and expergo album NMIXX seemed to have done filming the MV for this song and their 1st mini album before Jinni left on December 2022. Since she left 3 months before the song's release, they had to re-record the whole MV and song again. 3. Shotaro and Sungchan's NCT 2023 photoshoots Shotaro and Sungchan was transferred from NCT to SM's new group RIIZE on May 2023. 3 months after, NCT was releasing their 4th full group album Golden Age. The photoshoot of the members were taken exactly during December 2022 and/or January 2023 due to some NCT 127 members' hair colors match their Ay-Yo photoshoot looks. So at that time, Shotaro and Sungchan are still NCT members. SM definitely has their photos for the album. This also mildly explains why Golden Hour MV was arranged like that. 4. aespa early 2023 comeback (original version of Drama) Drama was supposed to be released on February 2023. Lee Soo Man (former SM chairman) wanted the song to have "planting trees" and "sustainability" in the lyrics, causing the members to sob. The comeback was being replaced with the song Spicy on May 2023 and the final version of Drama was being released on November 2023. 5. OT7 version of WayV Phantom album Phantom was supposed to be released on Late 2021, with 3 pre-release singles consisting of sub-unit pairs: Kun & Xiaojun, Ten & Yangyang, and Lucas & Hendery. The latter was supposed to release Jalapeño a week after Low Low. The teaser images and MV teasers were already released, but the MV and song were never being released due to Lucas' sudden hiatus. Automatically, WayV's comeback was postponed for over a year. This also infer that WayV had the album ready to be released but they had to re-record. Besides, 1 out of 3 teaser image sets of Phantom album didn't include a group picture, which leads to the group picture was including Lucas.

I personally never heard about them even refilming the mv as I don't think there is any reason to lol. On a similar note though, the episode they filmed of "Idol Room" to promote Fiesta is lost media. Since by the time Fiesta was officially released, Idol Room had already ended/was about to end. In a digital age swarmed by millions, if not billions of users with ways to record and preserve media, there's always a chance some of it just drops off the face of the earth. There could be thumb drives of loona's lost music and videos sitting in jaden's closet, a fan's phone from the 2000s with the last recording of super junior's concert, or physical tapes of h.o.t.'s movie possibly collecting dust and unknowingly unplayable forever. Any evidence we have to show for those is the hearsay of fans and vague clips and memories of those years. I-- I need to blast kpop music we know exists to stop the mental spiral of this lol

LOST MEDIA OF SNSD'S THE BOYS COVERS (i only know 2 of them so feel free to add more) i'm one of the r u next weverse member (now known as illit) & there were some users discussed on how their performance of the boys (heel choreo mission) just disappeared from the official channel while other videos didn't (i didn't know yet about this since i tend to only watch my bias aka wonhee's performances & she wasn't in that team) this reminds me back to queendom 2 era where all teams covered popular songs & there was only 1 song which i couldn't find the official audio anywhere : the boys by kep1er but however we still be able to hear the hd audio in their official dance practice studio (so i think this case is about copyright issues if anyone can explain what exactly happened with "the boys" it's much highly appreciated! xoxo

I have a suggestion not everyone might know:
It's about the canceled comeback "End of Game" by Craxy that has already been recorded.
To give a little bit of context:
Craxy debuted with Aria after that they went on a long hiatus but came back with Gaia and a new lore called worldview Zero. They revealed that during the hiatus they pre-filmed all the material for their new lore and we got a lot of teaser/concept videos for this alongside the music(videos). This all continued until we were supposed to get the last of the 4 releases "End of Game", the ceo told us they would cancel this comeback bc it doesn't fit with their current and planned production quality anymore and instead come back with a different one that has nothing to do with their previous lore. This how we got their comeback called "nugudom".
Later the ceo (who has a Twitter acc) would post some sneak peeks of "End of Game" content such as parts of the MV & later the "fourth goddess" album cover. As far as I remember he also said that it's not entirely impossible that he would release "End of Game" but nothing has been decided yet if and when he would do it. So I anticipated it that we would get it someday...
But recently a member unexpectedly was removed from the group and tbh I don't know if we're now able to get this at all for at least copyright reason as there is a member in this content that's no longer under the company and I'm not sure if they even can release that under these circumstances.
Sorry for the long comment but tbh I don't think non-fans would properly understand this whole situation without this bc there's just so much layers to it👁👁

I remember seeing the video of Heechul taking off Hangeng's mask. There was only one, horrible quality, and I saw it here on youtube like 15 years ago. I tried to look it up again a few years ago and was surprised by everyone saying there were no videos of that, and that SM got rid of all of them. The only thing I remember is Heechul looking very serious, then turning around and taking off his mask, can't recall anything else. Tbf I was a child and a big Heechul fan, but the quality was shit, I was still unable to distinguish any of them, and by then Hangeng had just left the group, so I never rlly knew a lot abt him until after I grew up.

Jessica and Crystal filmed a second season of their reality show, as well as recorded a duet album before Jessica was removed from SNSD. With Jessica’s departure and Crystal not renewing her contract with SM a few years later, both pieces of media will likely never be released (unless someone leaks them).
Another piece of SNSD ‘lost media’ is the original MV for MrMr, which was lost due to corrupted filming equipment. You can see pieces of the original MV in what got released (the underground parking lot scenes), but the original MV has never been recovered.

While not giving any Pacifics away for line up away members of Aespa, Red velvet, Girls Generation, Exo, and BoA interviews all are believed to have recorded parts of the song and or the song entirely because of interviews they have all given about how about recording a debut song that they didn’t end up with but was released by an SM group
Not sure if you already plan on putting this in part 2, but I also wanna mention all the le sserafim and Kim Garam content that didn't get released. All of the members, while preparing for the debut, filmed vlogs. We sadly never got the Garam vlog. Another pre-debut content which the group filmed is a trip to jejudo. We only have a polaroid of all of the members from that trip and the video itself never got released. I also wanna mention that Garam most likely had already recorded songs for the second album. This last one isn't really relevant to other le sserafim stans, but is to me as a fan of Garam - the documentary. All of Garam's parts got cut out and I'm just really sad I'll never get to see that part of her journey. We can only guess how much more content they filmed that we're never gonna see even a glimpse of. (Please someone in HYBE leak it pleeeeheeease 😭😭)
Speaking of content with a member that left the group, I think Stray Kids have a lot of songs that used to feature Woojin as well before he left the group, but his lines were re-recorded by other members. Usually Bang Chan works on his songs long before we get to hear them, maybe there were songs on Go Live that originally had Woojin featured, who knows?

Woojin left the group in 2019 and SKZ were planning to have a mini album called "Cle Levanter" in November of that year but since Woojin left , JYP pospone it to december.
In RUclips a user made a video where you can see Woojin in some scenes of the MV but they probably were cut.
I remember that in the last scene when they were wearing white clothes you can see someone else was there, in the fisrt scene of the video you can count 9 persons and also, in some other shots you can see someone else in a sweater (it's not Hyunjin or the other members bc no one else was wearing something like that)

As an ot7 Monbebe, there's some things I think about sometimes. One, the All About Luv album photobook. In a live, Minhyuk showed Monbebes a picture on his phone where he said it was Shownu, but it was Wonho as Shownu had a completely different outfit. When the album started pre orders, there was a Wonho version of the album listed but it was canceled for the people that ordered that version. The second one is a theory which is why Gasoline was pulled from the Fantasia X album. I'm thinking that it was pulled last minute because it still has Wonho's vocals. This one has more merit than Gasoline. This is a recent discovery which Wonho's With You's pre chrous. You can hear a voice that sounds similar to I.M's. It's never confirmed to be for a sub unit that two members had before getting scrapped or for Monsta X as a whole. Another song from Fantasia X that might have an ot7 version is Zone. In the summer of 2018, I.M showed off a beat sample of the song Zone in a VLive(rip). Next song is one part of Jooheon's Intro: Ambition which made its debut at the 2018 MAMA. It had different lyrics than the final version. It's not confirmed if it's going to be short intro or a part of song. If it was for an intro, it was sadly not the intro for their next two albums before Jooheon kept the song for himself. I remember seeing that the members confirmed that there was supposed to be a Korean version of their English song Misbehave. Lastly, the audio version of Sambakja which Jooheon and I.M refused to release, but it might be recorded, idk

So, he could only show his face on certain music shows due to his Visa disallowing appearances on certain channels (this is to do with certain entertainment channels having closer links to the Korean government itself, and thus having stricter guidelines to what/who can or can't be broadcasted). He wore a mask on certain music shows, but on others he was replaced by another person - and in a couple performances even a woman - who wore his mask.
However, the reason we don't have footage of Heechul taking his mask off is that it never happened. Heechul never claimed it happened and Hangeng, iirc, outright denied it happening in an interview around 2018 I believe? We have the known schedules of which music shows Super Junior performed on at the time, and footage exists for every performance of Twins wherein Hangeng wore the mask. Not a single one shows Heechul pulling the mask off. Also, just logically - if it did happen, you'd think there would be uproar in the Korean media? But not a single Korean article exists from the time on the topic.
Fun story, but no - Hangeng never had his mask pulled off on stage. And yes, laws did get relaxed soon after meaning Hangeng could promote (mostly) as normal.

I have some suggestions of some cases for the following parts

iKON I DECIDE OT7: This iKON album was already ready before B.I left the group, he even participated in the production of almost all the songs on the album (except for Flower, which was composed by DK, who together with Bobby became in the mains producers of iKON after the departure of B.I). If I remember correctly, at some point it was said that the MV was also ready, and even in many parts of the choreography you can see the space that Hanbin was going to occupy.
MULTIPLE UNRELEASED SONGS BY YG ARTISTS: The best known case is CL, if I remember correctly she had an entire album and even MVs ready for her future comebacks before leaving the company. But she and other former YG artists have unreleased songs that remained with the company under contracts. Some other cases of this are Bobby's unreleased songs that were heard during episodes of iKON TV and the supposed album that Bigbang was going to release after Still Life (There is even a small fragment of a song that was going to belong to the album). Also Gdragon, when he was still in YG, said that he had many plans and that he had an album already ready to release within the company.
DIMENSION (iKONxWINNER): I really don't know much about this but on the YG channel there is a video that seemed to hint at a project where iKON and Winner were going to collaborate. I suppose that due to the departure of Nam Tae Hyun from Winner (who also appeared in the video) they canceled said collaboration

Also, SuJu KRY has at least one scrapped album circa 2010-2016. The guys have talked about it quite a few times. And some of those songs were included in later material: Dorothy, ...ing, Shadowless. At Gwanghwamun of Kyuhyun was also a KRY project originally.

Heechul really did a lot to show his love for Hankyung… he even risked them both being jailed or super junior disbandment.. he took the mask off because Hankyung was crying behind the scenes… Heechul cares so much he’s so lovely 💖😭😭😭😭…. The mask could also be a reference to Jojo’s bizarre adventure part 2: battle tendency.
i am personally not a fan of heechul but i have to admit that he was always a good friend to han geng. i remember after geng left the group he sent heechul his first solo album and heechul held it up on camera during his radio show, and a few years ago he publicly defended geng's decision to leave sme, too (and then in the same breath criticized the members of exo who left, so.... i was quickly reminded why i don't like him LOL)

@Vivi-Violet every member of exo who left supposedly did so for reasons of mistreatment and if that was really the case (it was for geng so presumably it would be for other people as well) then messing up the choreography is a weird thing to gripe about when you know someone is dealing with abuse.

Infinite had two versions shot for there Destiny MV. ver A had a storyline while ver B was just a regular MV. Infinite were supposed to release both at different times from what I remember.
But Ver A never got released out of respect for a plane crash tht recently happened at the time. The company explained it was cause ver A had a scene tht involved a plane crashing. If you look up the MV the MV says ver B but there is no ver A due to the things mentioned above.
I don't think anyone has leacked or uploaded the ver A mv but it's been literally 10 years so who knows maybe someone did.

One more lost media from Loona, not very relevant, but Chuu's photos from 2023 Season Greetings. They edited her out because of everything, even though it was her color turn.
And a lot of photoshoots from them, not only the ones that we only have one photo (like HyunJin in Paris, or HeeJin, HyunJin and HaSeul in Japan), but the photoshoots made with the trainees. We see it s lot on LOONATVs, but since not all the members in these photoshoots are Loona members, it never came out. Even the blurry members are still blutry members, since we dont know who are they, half of them
SNSD's OT9 Catch me if you can Japanese version was leaked on YT with the title and the group being translated to Thai (quite literally).
I'd like to add:
1. The OT9 version of Stray Kids' Clé: Levanter album tracks except Double Knot.
We all know Woojin left the group days before the album release and days after Double Knot (the first pre-release), which means the album was ready to be released. SKZ had to re-record all tracks in the album with the new formation, which cause the album release postponed. Also SKZ had done filming the MV for their second pre-release single Astronaut with Woojin in it, so JYPE also edited it out, marking Astronaut as SKZ's first OT8 release.
2. OT7 Version of NMIXX - Love Me Like This MV and expergo album
NMIXX seemed to have done filming the MV for this song and their 1st mini album before Jinni left on December 2022. Since she left 3 months before the song's release, they had to re-record the whole MV and song again.
3. Shotaro and Sungchan's NCT 2023 photoshoots
Shotaro and Sungchan was transferred from NCT to SM's new group RIIZE on May 2023. 3 months after, NCT was releasing their 4th full group album Golden Age. The photoshoot of the members were taken exactly during December 2022 and/or January 2023 due to some NCT 127 members' hair colors match their Ay-Yo photoshoot looks. So at that time, Shotaro and Sungchan are still NCT members. SM definitely has their photos for the album. This also mildly explains why Golden Hour MV was arranged like that.
4. aespa early 2023 comeback (original version of Drama)
Drama was supposed to be released on February 2023. Lee Soo Man (former SM chairman) wanted the song to have "planting trees" and "sustainability" in the lyrics, causing the members to sob. The comeback was being replaced with the song Spicy on May 2023 and the final version of Drama was being released on November 2023.
5. OT7 version of WayV Phantom album
Phantom was supposed to be released on Late 2021, with 3 pre-release singles consisting of sub-unit pairs: Kun & Xiaojun, Ten & Yangyang, and Lucas & Hendery. The latter was supposed to release Jalapeño a week after Low Low. The teaser images and MV teasers were already released, but the MV and song were never being released due to Lucas' sudden hiatus. Automatically, WayV's comeback was postponed for over a year. This also infer that WayV had the album ready to be released but they had to re-record. Besides, 1 out of 3 teaser image sets of Phantom album didn't include a group picture, which leads to the group picture was including Lucas.
i feel this falls into speculation area but i believe there is izones fiesta mv that was shot before the mnet scandal and their hiatus. ive been trying to find any sort of leaks but i couldn't find anything, wikipedia said that digipedi allegedly directed an 'original' version of the mv but i couldn't find any sources saying that
I personally never heard about them even refilming the mv as I don't think there is any reason to lol.
On a similar note though, the episode they filmed of "Idol Room" to promote Fiesta is lost media. Since by the time Fiesta was officially released, Idol Room had already ended/was about to end. Only a teaser and leaked clip of them dancing to Fiesta exists I believe

It's videos like these that remind me how unnerving lost media is. In a digital age swarmed by millions, if not billions of users with ways to record and preserve media, there's always a chance some of it just drops off the face of the earth.
There could be thumb drives of loona's lost music and videos sitting in jaden's closet, a fan's phone from the 2000s with the last recording of super junior's concert, or physical tapes of h.o.t.'s movie possibly collecting dust and unknowingly unplayable forever. Any evidence we have to show for those is the hearsay of fans and vague clips and memories of those years.
