These bands are good, but this one is still my favorite, they aren't power metal, but check em out, they're called Trivium. I most recommend the songs In Waves, Down From the Sky, and Throes of Perdition.
im not sure about all of this but i think the ripper only did 1 album (maybe it was an ep im not sure) which was overture of the wicked, they just re did some of their songs with him as the singer. again, im not that sure about what i just said but i do know that tim owens came into the band a couple years ago and didnt have anything to do with founding iced earth.
why doesn't anyone talks about Blind Guardian and Demons and Wizards? These two are some awesome bands, and it seems to be underrated by most people... I've to agree that rhapsody, luca turilli and some other bands there are great as well... Nice songs, nice bands =)

Remove iced earth, put in there dragonland; remove elven king and put in their place to HammerFall, and finally, remove demons and wizards and put in their place to Iron Savior
