you're absolutely adorable! I like your crazy hand gestures and how you explain things clearly. If i could take Taiwanese language lessons from you in person. I would maybe. Because you enunciate slowly and perfectly. I have never yet visited taiwan and I nearly did in dec. 2019, but decided on Japan (because I know some of the Language) instead and parts of Korea. Now I am terrified if I visit, the evil PRC will invade and i dont wanna die and also so many huge hurricanes or is it cyclones? in the Pacific keep hitting Taiwan,Plus its very hot temperatures and lots of rain. I just moved back to Rockies and love dry weather a lot! I would love to visit Taiwan and then Vietnam in one trip. Maybe soon before any stupid wars!!!

I asked my wife whether she wants to marry me without seeing her parents first, oops 🤣
The speaking each other's language thing is too real to be honest. I think it helps a lot with understanding each other's culture.
Glad I automatically brought gifts when I first moved to Taiwan and I immediately started doing the dishes/cleaning the table too! 🤣👍🏼
An unprepared 4/5 score isn't too bad I guess 😆
It really all just boils down to being courteous in the end. Cheers Linus!

HAHA I have to say that is quite romantic and brave to propose before seeing your partner's parents in our culture. If you live closer to her family, you might have to spend quite some time with her parents after being married. Things are totally fine if you get along with them, but what if you don't, which is such a big concern us. Glad that it seems like you all get along.
It's good to hear you how you made your parents in law automatically happy by doing those decent things. They must like you so much!!!
Thanks for being here sharing your experience. :)))

@@LinustheTaiwanese we got engaged when we were both working abroad and we've been married for four years now, so I guess everything worked out. I think her parents were very welcoming as well 😆
