- It's been a long RV road trip! We've traveled almost 4000 miles on our journey. Now we are facing reality as we drive our RV home. Driving an RV everyday is exhausting!

White castle used to be wonderful about 40 years ago
I think it depends on which one you go to. There isn't consistency across locations.
We have 4 In n' Out's within 30 minutes of our house, and have never been. Until just this past Friday. The fries are fresh not frozen. The condiments on the burger were fresh. I got a Double/double and a huge fry for $7.50. How can you beat that? And Sheri, you can't compare a reheated burger. That's not fair. Plus you took a bite out of the bag. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
It was sooo good I ate it wrapper and all! 🤣 John and I were wondering who would notice first. I said it would be you.
Awesome trip! Love In-n-Out, I remember my first In-n-Out burger, back in the early 90's, when I was at El Toro. John, you have to eat in the restaurant, it tastes better than take-out! God bless Brother, Semper Fi
We'll do that next time we find one! Thanks for the tip!
Your hair is gorgeous! We love keeping up with your travels!
Thank you so much!! 😊❤️
So we are truly shocked that you guys are just as impressed with in and out burger!! We’ve never had it before so now we gotta try it. Henry was especially intrigued as a White Castle lover. Thanks for taking us along with you!!
The burgers were so good! Still a White Castle fan but man.....In and Out....delicious. It was a different type of burger.
You guys are very entertaining and very likable! New subscriber :-)
Yay! Thank you and welcome aboard! We're happy to have you as a part of our community! 😊
We did it for ten years, my wife never really liked it, but did it for me. I joined FMCA club and joined three chapters. I liked it, it was hard at first because people had clicks, But I stuck it out. It was cheap and food was provided. I liked having the security of people and help from experienced people when you needed it.
Thank you for sharing. We are FMCA members and are thinking about going to the rally next year.
@@AmpedtoGlamp don’t get discouraged if you feel they’re not friendly. Some chapters are better than others with that. They need time to get and know you. When I first joined, nobody introduced me to anyone, so I got up and did it myself. You’ll feel safe and they’ll help if you have problems. I think they’re not friendly at first because they feel you may not come back
@@AmpedtoGlamp what is FMCA?
It's the Family Motor Coach Association Here's a link www.fmca.com
@@AmpedtoGlamp Thanks
We recently returned from our trip, and yes, it’s nice to be back home. I think we drove close to 2900k miles r/t. We visited Badlands, Blackhills, Devils towers, Ft. Collin’s CO, Santa Fe NM and back home to AZ. 2 weeks of enjoyment. I would rather be RVing and going to places than having to return to work. 😂
Sounds like an amazing trip! There are a couple of places on your list that we still want to visit. Time for you and I to buy that winning lottery ticket!
Long trip!!!! In & Out Burger is by far better than White Castle. Safe travels!!!
That sauce on the burger was sooooo good!
Another great video guys ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much 👍. Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
So far we have taken short trips. We always keep in mind that quality VS quantity is what make the trip enjoyable. If we ever take a longer trip the idea should be stay at least 2 weeks or a month in a campgrounds. Days to rest between attractions will be a most. We always schedule 1 or 2 stops on our travel days even is a short trip. Our old bodies take priority to anything and we adjust the trip as we feel. 😅😂.
That would be ideal! Unfortunately, neither of us can work remotely. It definitely wasn't the ideal way to travel but it helped us see so many beautiful sites. Hoping when we retire we can take our time.
If you don’t like the huge raw onions, try asking for the onions grilled they taste much better that way. Also you need to try the In and Out fries “animal style”, has the spread, cheese and grilled onions on top of their fresh fries…so good! I say, give In and Out another try…when you can eat it fresh instead of reheated.
Best burgers: #1 What-A-Burger #2 In and Out. IMO
Yum....those fries sound super tasty! 😋 John's not going near onions if he doesn't have to. I have to blend them until they are liquified before I can use onions in a recipe. 😅
I stopped eating there, their food is always cold
oh no! that's too bad!
Awesome trip!
Yes, it was! So much fun! Thanks for watching!
Fun hangin’ out with y’all as usual! 💕I’ve only been to White Castle in Nevada (I think😂), and I have to say, I think In-N-Out is tastier. Definitely fresher😄🍔
The sauce was so very tasty! 😋 We'll definitely eat there again!
Did I miss your decision about the burger? White Castles are always better than an In & Out Burger.
Nope, you didn't miss it! I think we completely avoided making a decision!
It is a lot easier when you are retired and have plenty of time -We would never try and fit in all the stuff you did in two weeks-We aren’t full time so we do go home and recharge-and then we look forward to going out again 😎⭐️🇺🇸🇺🇸
We took 3 weeks and it was way to short! Counting down to retirement so we can do it the right way like you! 😀
Get a thermal bag for burgers 🍔 next time
I’m from PG county Maryland now I live in Lewes Delaware. What part of Maryland do you live? Btw we love Five Guys over In and Out .
We're not far from PG county. Delaware has the best state parks!
Space force...lol!😅
Someone's got to protect us from the aliens!
Welcome to what truck driver's go through every week running coast to coast. And in And out burger sucks
Yes, we respect truck drivers and the difficult schedule they run. John and I drove coaches (think Greyhound) to pay for college. Long days.
And cut John some slack and stop jumping on him All the time lol
Definitely better than white castle (which I also love)... but you guys cheated yourselves. Best when consumed immediately after the purchase. Definitely better fries too... you guys stay safe!
The burgers were really tasty. We'll have to give it another try when we make it back out that way.
Sorry guys but I grew up with in an out! There is a better burger chain throughout the Rockies called Good Times. A knock off of in an out but way better! Thomyt
We'll have to add Good Times to the list if we make it out that way!
Hi guys! Just curious, would you purchase another Fleetwood class A, or would you move on to another brand?
It's a maybe. Fleetwood dropped all the floor plans we like from the diesel line. Perhaps if they come up with something new that we like.
Looked like an epic trip!!
It really was! Can't wait to do it again but after we retire.
I think the number of miles you do per day also makes a big difference. Could you tell me if there are plug outlets at the dinette for those working remotely? Thank you.
Yes, there are two outlets. One is located directly above the table and the other is below the booth seat that faces forward.
@@AmpedtoGlampThank you so much!
Welcome to the club 😂
Yup! What a trip! Had the best time even though it wore us out!
@AmpedtoGlamp plenty of pictures and content and most importantly more confidence in the coach.
Good Morning,
Those pesky things called jobs interfere with a lot of things. 😒
So it looks like you may like In and Out burgers better😅.
Have to admit....it was a really tasty burger! 😋
Lets get started here... @2:02 THAT is a face I have yet to see from Ol' John in the past, which is one very unhappy face and it tells the whole story! And the windshield is leaking again? OMG! Next, @3:32 we get to see the Sherri face of discontent lacking all joy and peace she wishes for the whole world.
And of course, the important part is the burger comparison, which is absolutely impossible as they are just too different as the White Castle are kind of... unique. Here is a pro tip for In-N-Out... you really have to eat them at the restaurant! Especially the fries, they are so thin that they turn cold in 2 minutes and every time we decide to drive through and eat at home we are always disappointed! Putting fries and your burger in the microwave is a total food foul that you must avoid to properly compare their burger. The best is a Double-Double, you just need more meat to really enjoy it!
And finally, I am sorry you are tired but a big Boohoo is coming your way! You guys got to drive and see such epic locations and I will not feel sorry for you as I am more jealous than anything. John said it, you need more time so you don't have to push those loooooong hours on the road! You both need to be fully free and retired, or at least not restricted by time, to really enjoy the travel experience! You really need to get rid of that old jalopy of an RV (wink wink) and get that diesel pusher with all the amenities and get on with it!
I can only hope that the world does not fall apart before I get a chance to do even a little bit of what you two are enjoying! Great times!
You read John well @2:02. He was done, depleted, defeated and definitely over it! And, my wish for world peace is going unanswered.
Yup, we earned that BooHoo! We had an awesome experience, saw beauty we'd never seen before and traveled to so many places. Just wish we had more time so we didn't have to rush back. Now if I could only figure out this RUclips thing so that we could travel and share our experiences without having to worry about returning to work! 😉😊 We had a taste and want more!
I hope you get the chance to get out there as well!
Culver’s is one of the best. In and Out, meh.
We'll have to give it a try next time we are near one!
We didn't realize how exhausting traveling every day would be. It definitely took its toll. What's the longest trip you've ever taken? For more of our Yellowstone trip check out this playlist ruclips.net/p/PLDf5fW2W1zJIhNKFbiDV_aAJlAVZyvivy
Our longest trip was only 12 days and around 2600 miles down to south FL. We hope to make it out West in a couple years. Thanks again for sharing your great trip!

We'll have to check that one out too!
