This is so satisfying Lynn! I have to go to bed with a clean kitchen! Nobody wants to wake up to a mess, well at least I don’t! 😊 Our refrigerator and pantry is a constant battle. They get cleaned out multiple times a year. Love the pretty Walmart touches that you’ve added.

I know this is a 2 mo. Old video. I Love binge watching and re-watching your videos. So. I have 5 kids, who all have moved away but 1, my now 21 year old baby of the house. The others are either in the military or married to someone that is. So scattered all over the US. Very sad. So. You were just saying do for someone else you love, it's a gift of love. True. UNTIL you are the only person that does. And then my husband, who stays up all night, every once in a blue moon he will sweep and mop overnight. Problem is. Then he comes to me and says "I swept and mopped FOR YOU" expecting a thank you. I don't do well with that. When exactly did keeping the entire house, yards, gardens, building, fencing, remodeling, and I am 54 years old and have gone back to school full time but everything is My Job.
New here but tip with your berries. Pre chill the container and dry the berries before putting them in. Even pop some paper towel at the bottom. The dryer they are, the longer they last! 😊
I watch your videos and two other women has helped me get up and get cleaning mind you I'm 70 can't do a lot at one time I started mid February finally got walls closets curtains fridge and bathroom I painted my cabinets it feels so good to have a clean home I drive ice-cream truck in summer so can't do cleaning I work 6,days a week 12 till dark
I agree 💯 about making my bed and keeping my bathroom tidy. If either one of those spaces is in need of attention I can't relax. It makes the whole apartment feel messy. For me, a made up bed and straightened up bathroom are a form of relaxation 😌
You'll miss a king bed I think? What I did was got rid of footboard and side side rails was able to attach headboard with a couple modified plywood pieces attach to a regular frame. Don't think I'd ever want a footboard again it does take up too much room along with side rails. Measure and see how much more room you'd have with footboard and rails off. I also think you could do with just 1 chair moved to corner by dresser? I did use a tailored like bedskirt around bottom. Just a couple ideas & Food for thought. I love your bedroom set and great job freshening up looks very pretty and fresh! Alabaster is a great white! The color you have looks great and perfect till you're ready. I just bought a heavy duty metal frame it has slates to bolt headboard. Very inexpensive fix. I love the look of the foot board and rails but really does take up more room than one thinks. I ended up with more than an extra foot all around. That gave me an extra 2 feet in the room. Your room does not look crowded but I 100 percent get it. You'd miss your nightstands too. I had same dilemma and this resolved issue for me. Blessings again!

Think about adding a tall cabinet to the middle of the countertop in the bathroom almost to the ceiling then you can put all that stuff in there and it’ll give it separation and minimize the clutter.

We live in an older home now too & the rooms are smaller. Probably because of the over all sq footage of the home. I must have a king sized bed, so I did opt to buy a platform bed with no headboard. I also bought a wedge pillow that goes where a headboard would, it helps so things don't fall in the gap between the mattress & wall, and also props up your pillows. I find keeping the furniture minimal and slimline does keep the room feeling less crowded. Our baby stays in our room too, so we need as much space as possible.
I have a habit of cleaning my fridge out weekly. Crazy I know but I started that habit evening before trash day when I had a 10 cubic foot fridge and with my bigger fridge it’s a “happy habit” and my family helps especially if they see a spill, or caused the spill. They help clean it up😂
We built new and have a well and septic system on our property. It’s a lot of maintenance for sure. You have to connect everything correctly and not skimp on anything and then you have to maintain it. It’s definitely a learning process. One thing I discovered on my own and not even a plumber told me. We have an upstairs bathroom that’s never used. So when I’m near it and I have to use it I noticed when I flushed, it would make a horrible thump and grating noise. I thought piping had an issue. But no one could find an issue. So after I researched it on my own I found out there is a thing called a P-trap. And if it goes dry due to no running water in an unused bathroom it will make a noise when you flush. So I’ve learned to go in that bathroom once a week and just run water in the tub and then drain it and that solved my problem 100%. Maintenance. Hope you have a blessed week my friend❤

If you just keep the headboard in your master but have a simple bed frame that your feet can go under the king will feel smaller. That’s what we did and I will never go back. No bumping knees on the footboard 😁 when hurrying around.
For your master just get a bed frame without the headboard that matches your other bedroom furniture. And for the night stands look into the ones that. Are nailed to the wall.😘
I started a while back cleaning my fridge out the night we put out garbage each week. I wipe the shelves off where there might be spills, etc. Game changer!
Your bedroom will feel much more open if you get rid of your bed frame and only use one of those metal bases that is the size of the bed. You could hang a soft headboard on the wall if you really want the look of a frame, but keep it light in color. I haven't used a bedframe since I was 10yrs old (I turn 49 in a month). Then you could do floating bedside tables, which helps with the illusion of the room looking bigger because your eye sees the floor all the way to the wall underneath. I love your oversized prints on your wall, however, I do feel they make your room look tiny. When you put such large things in a room that are not proportional to the room, such as your bedframe and those framed prints, then the room will look smaller. Bring the proportions down to meet the size of the room. I also would do sconces on the walls on either side of your bed instead of table lamps, this will help with both proportion AND having stuff on your tables :) Have fun, I love your style!

The Dollar Store also sells wipe clean placemats that fit perfectly on refrigerator shelves, and can also be cut ti size.
