Save us and remix And Ocean of Strange Islands, please. The band seems to want to sabotage Floor. I imagine that in most of the songs on the album her voice will be very low, just like in the first and last single released.😢😢
Although you did a hell of a nice job, if you listen to the actual song (on several videos including the lyric video) it actually quite different than the official video... I had no problem hearing & enjoying Floor's voice in the choir... also, removing the dragon growl leaves that moment empty...
My original though was that there is no video on this edit, just lyrics on screen, but then I thought, that maybe I should do 4K upscale instead. My other version has sound effects.

Again, you did such an awesome job - it actually sounds like the original unedited track on Spotify. That's the best way I can describe it my friend - listen to the track on Spotify, it hasn't been edited, it's the original track - more often than not audio for music videos has either been dubbed, edited/remixed to fit the video, or re-recorded - no degrenation intended, because your edit is PERFECT! Again, you did (and do) such wonderful work!!!
It's not stealing because they allow it. They also get all the income from my videos. And if they want to, they could block everything and shut down my channel any day.

Well, it's the same with everything. We have different tastes, and it can provoke big emotions. I love every era of Nightwish, but my favorites are Tarja and Floor. And I'm sure I have very biased point of view, because I started with Tarja. And I loved Troy on small doses, but now I have to say, that he is way better fit with AURI imo. Still, I have gotten use to his sound already, and I'm not cutting him off. This is the Nightwish we have now, and I'm just happy with it, even that I would prefer a little bit less Troy.
Probably because you know the lyrics now. Maybe your brain now "corrects" it. I'm pretty sure they haven't fixed it 🤔 This is why mixing and remastering is hard. After a while even very bad mix sounds good, until you take a long break and listen to other stuff. This happened to us multiple times when we recorded and mixed our demo in 2008.

I like Troy in the song. For me, it's a three-part song and Troy's part is like we are leaving the world and becoming an ancestor too. For that tone of the song, I think Troy fits very well.
Tuomas and Nightwish spent an incredible amount of time and energy creating this song and video. It's theirs. I can't see them being grateful to you for "fixing" it. Would you like someone coming into your home and fixing the furnishings, tossing out the clothes they didn't like, or repainting your car? You may like your version better and you have the capability of editing it for your personal listening. But it seems really disrespectful to me that you put this on your channel as a better version.
It is totally different thing. I haven't done any permanent changes to the original and people can still listen to it. I haven't said this is better for everyone, just for me (and apparently to 97.6% of the people who have listened to it). There was a need, urge even, and I just filled the void. Sorry if this hurts your feelings. They clearly made a poor decision with that mixing because they needed to explain why they did it. Now about 99% of all not-nightwish-fans think it is just a bad mix, and this is their leading single 🙄

Yes, to me the vocals are too loud in the verses now (specially first verse). The choruses are good in your mix imho. Not that I had any problems with the original, but hey....i didn't grow up with shitty iPhone buds in my ears 24/7 when i was young. 😄
