A beautiful podcast with Bollywood's heartthrob John Abraham, it was the most heartfelt, brotherly conversation we've had on the show. He started his career with modeling and after many making his mark for many advertisements, he got the opportunity with his debut film "Jism". Soon he became the actor with the most aspiring body in Bollywood. For me personally, he was a huge inspiration during the time I was deep in my journey of bodybuilding.
In this episode, we went deep inside John Abraham's mind, the mistakes he has made in the past, the failures, his brand image & more. One thing I definitely witnessed the most about him was his humility for his work, art, and legacy that he has built over the years. There are many aspects of him that you'll witness during this conversation.
On being on the brink of a release, he breaks down how he disassociates his self-worth on the success or failure of a particular film. His new film will "Attack" will release on the 1st of April'22, where he brings back another release in the thriller genre.
Hope you enjoy this conversation, can't wait to have him back on the show again.

plz do a podcast with JOE DISPENZA plzzzzz💜💜💜❤️❤️💜💜💜💜
Hats off to John for showing his vulnerable side. For a celebrity, I feel it takes a lot of courage to show this side to the world. Very relatable and Inspirational podcast. One of the best guest on the podcast! ✨
Couldn't agree more on this ✨
Now it is obvious for celebrities to do so .
So true
I agree
Because they are also human beings! We are so blinded by the flash that we are not that observant about the humane self 🎉
"this is my bread and butter, I can talk about the five films i have done but at the end of the day i am known for my body", i swear on God i have never seen such a self aware bollywood celebrity. Mad respect.
How can iget body like him by drinking beer every day. Like beerbiceps
Well said 🔥🔥
I think almost everyone bollywood celebrity has this level of awareness. just that they might not have stated it in these exact terms.
Everyone knows who they are, John is extremely humble to let it out while others mask it.
@@chanakyadevil well said
He himself is a megastar yet he made ranveer feel so special about himself. He knew all about the beerbiceps videos. The way he answered every question with saying his name like he was a big brother not a celeb. What a human being. Respect
Most of the People who were in their Teenage in 2000s era. John Abraham was their Ideal. He is speaking from his Soul ♥️
Thank you for Making this possible Bro. It’s so overwhelming to know your childhood idol so closely. One of the best podcasts till now.
Was expecting to find Mr. Singhaa here ❤️

Before this show, I never got a chance to hear intellectual/ spiritual side of celebrities. The way Ranveer carry his interview, commercial journalists could never do. It's good to see intellect side of celebs and their thought process. Good job!
There are very less people like John bro, mostly celebrities are rude & arrogant.
Do check tammanah Bhatia and Kiara advani podcast too, and Ayushman slow interview with neelesh

Money can't buy you happiness, but can buy you close to it. Oh, man this took me to my motivational high. 👍
My tears couldn’t stop man when u hug him man ..u know what john said exactly what u wanted to say u are connect with guest so fine n the way ask questions is like my head is also want to ask same question..hats off bro 💥❤️
Me too! The tears 😭
Me too...😭😭😭
Such a genuine personality! No bullshit, No buttered talks, No philosophy. Such honesty. With people like John coming on the show, i am sure we kids will grow up to be good people. Being kind and good is above anything that we can ever achieve in our lives.
John was so honest...respecting him even more... attack part 1 was amazing movie...can't wait to see more of John's movies...and wish him a lot of happiness
John you are so humble, intelligent, dignified, educated person. No matter what you will do you will do only great.
Loved this Podcast
Never heard John open up like this before
Well done Ranveer
John started feeling super heavy but your kindness and loving attitude with great questions made him feel lighten up and uplifted towards the ending. And that’s what I call GREAT ENERGY EXCHANGE with immense open heart. Thank you Ranvir. I cried towards the end to see Abraham feeling emotional.
John has really been an inspiration for me and for us. I still remember the time when "Jism" was released back in 2003, there was so mush hush hush for the film. One day i got the chance to see the movie in TV. As a 12 year old kid back then, i found nothing wrong in that movie. Infact there were so many lessons to learn from it. I still admire johns work in jism, no smoking, water, paap. The songs in his movie is so good always and every time( Just as Imran Hashmi's.) I am glad to share my Birthday with John's.
This is incredible. Heard John in some interviews long ago and was fascinated by his thought process, his humility and sincerity. Then I guess I saw too many of his movies where he chose roles that were caricatures of this meathead or this over the top patriotic person( which is by the way the narrative which is winning the elections for a party). Today watching this interview made me realise not to separate the art from the artist. John is way too intelligent for the Bollywood movies- but a mans gotta earn. Totally respect this guy and if John happens to read this - you're an inspiration man- not just for the body but for your mind. Kudos
Sir, i clicked on this video thinking that let’s watch it for 10-12 minutes and will watch later the rest of the part. But I couldn’t stop after i started, tears in the eyes literally. Thank you, thank you so much 🙏🏻
Man, this is how an interview should be. No personal questions - No masala addition - No cheap taglines - No vulgar thumbnails.
You were successful in making your guest darn too comfortable.
All The best Ranveer 😊
I am speechless… this podcast episode with John was sooo genuine, so real and honestly but so much into perspective. These are the type of conversations that are so meaningful and we all want from a podcast episode. Thanks so much for making this video and having these meaningful conversations. Loved this one and learned so much!
John is not about muscles and fitness, he is very self aware and has a spiritual side which is awesome to see.
This conversation was so real and genuine, it touched me deeply. John Abraham is an inspiration to all. For a macho man like him, he could easily choose to do big budget, mindless, commercial films all the time but the kind of content he picks gives one an insight into how beautiful and intelligent this man's mind is. One of the best podcasts, Ranveer!
This has to be by far the most honest podcast I have ever seen. This kind of brutal honesty by a Bollywood star is extremely rare. After flying beast vlog and this podcast 'dil se respect nikalti hai '. Please bring him in a podcast again 🙏🏻
This broke my heart!!! We love you John!! ❤️❤️
What I enjoyed most was John’s honesty.
WOW, WOW, WOW, My all time fav. John Sir, I literally want this podcast Ranveer Bhai, Thank You so much John Abraham for this podcast.❤❤❤

The movie "No smoking" is a masterpiece , it was movie way ahead of its time for Indian audience at that point of time ,
If That movie was to be released today on some OTT platform,it would have become a cult classic.
Anurag Kashyap and John Abraham's NO SMOKING should have released in 2018 , it would have definitely earned 100 cr. atleast. Back in 2007 , Indian audience were dumbfucks.

U r lucky enough Ranveer… feel the same for John to hug him 👏🏽 hero for reason
My respect for John Abraham has increased manifold after this he is a fantastic human being, brilliant just brilliant, keep it up Ranveer.
The way John kept saying 'Ranveer' while answering the questions was so wholesome
Huge respect for john . I listened this on Spotify and This podcast just changed my perspective towards John . I used to think John is rude due to his interaction with fans but I didn't think what could be the reason behind this . Personal life affect the professional life so sometime a person don't remain in calm state . We should not judge person from just mere things and interaction because maybe something big going on in him which is affecting him . Loved this podcast and John ✨❤️🙏
The best trait you have is that, you not only connect to your guests but make us connect to them... And as you alway say "this is not an interview". It really feels everytime that you always try to be as innate as you are and puts a lot more imotion to your every podcast and we all relish watching it everytime ❤
I really like the part where Ranveer said, "He started lifting weights to deal with pain and insecurities." I started lifting weights a year ago to deal with my insecurities as well. I wouldn't say it has completely buried my pain but yes it has changed me a lot as a person. I think we men all across share common consciousness and we all need some kind of therapy to get through our days.
This was the BEST episode of TRS so far man. I am a die hard fan of John and he has been an inspiration for me. absolutely loved every minute of it. This was so so real! Thanks Ranveer for this beautiful piece!
I am so glad I stumbled upon this and it ended up being the most matured and intriguing podcast I have heard in recent times . Being motivational at the same time learning and feeling the same what you may not be able to talk about openly. Hats off to John Sir for sharing his experience and opinions that has help me take on things from a different perspective. Ranveer your a great person with a intellect and have cleared out most of the issues that must be addressed such as mens mental health. That’s how a literate conversation should take place. God bless you more power to you bro.
Now I know why I always like John as a person from day 1 without seeing his depth of his inner personality as he has expressed today. It was always reflected from his vibes. Love you John!
loveddd this one bro. what an podcast, lots of love to both of you ❤
woah sir, is this for real? i am making money with your 44 MA strategy! :D

Crying with happy tears here 🥺 John is a legend not just because of his physical stature but because he is the most cheerful, polite & honest of all the human beings. Loved this conversation. Lifted my spirits up 🙌✨ You always raise the bar Ranveer. Keep up 🎉
Yaa , well it seems like u r living in yr own Wonderland 🍄🍄...no celebrity is a "nice human" , it's all deception 👺👺
As a Sikh, i want to thanks you for this genuinely amazing episode, the intellectual excitement my mind had living this, it's quite emotional, India needs to know about sikhi before condemning their needs and fights, that sikhs are still fighting
My first comment ever on any of your videos Ranveer. This was very good conversation specially because I feel John sir actually needed such a deep and honest conversation about himself as a person and NOT just about his films and work, and gave him this conversation instead of the usual film related interviews he has to complete because of his compulsions. I am too big fan of John Sir. I love and admire him a lot. He is my idol too. May he keep smiling and being strong always!
Wow man almost cried at the end. 🙏 Love to John and Beer bieceps
Very candid interview 👏
It's didn't looked like a podcast but two of them are like just sitting and having a chat and being genuine to each other.. loved it 💕
I love you John.. For the person you are.. For the humblenees you have.... For how down to earth your are... You are just extraordinary.. Your soft voice makes me feel soothning.. Calm.. And crazy at the same time.. Your way of talking is a therapy.. And peaceful
Being Joh Abraham fan❤❤❤
It was one of the best podcast and conversation between two highly intellectual people👑👑👑
FABULOUS episode man. Shared this with a dozen guys/men I know. This is setting such a wonderful example of how men need to actually talk to each other and open up! I could actually feel that hug coming so much and was smiling ear to ear when you actually said that you'd like to give him a hug. Was teary-eyed happy to see that.
Been waiting for these 2 legends to come together! Looking forward to it.
♥️♥️♥️♥️
Huge respect for John sir, I just love him as a person from childhood. It's really a big deal to survive in this industry for long time with no background. You both r inspiration and youth icons
📌Take Away from a Ranveer Podcast:
You'll never see the person as you have seen them before you listen to them on a Ranveer show.
Sincerely man am saying; even long years of friendship sometimes hard and struggling to find a deep conversation like this you are doing...
Really appreciating your way of connecting with people, wish I could've also been there one day in the future.
Love you man ❤🍁
This conversation moved me 💯
He is so so genuine and open about how he feels and how messed up he feels at times..makes us feel normal 🙂Absolutely loved it 😍
Ranveer, you really deserve an applaud for saying what you said to John. Thank you so much brother. So good. Big hug 🤗
I was in tears seeing so much congruence in John .. Ranveer you are Good kid , you told him exactly what he had to hear.👏
John is an intellectual. He was completely himself and honest during the interview. He didn't even shy away from looking little vulnerable in this interview. Ranveer did a great job by asking questions about his real life, emotional state, fitness, struggles etc. You bring out the best in your guest..
Just don't mention to them that they are older so many times.😂
Well done👍 frankly 1 like is not enough for this one. I wish I could like it multiple times.
I have just listened to this podcast on Spotify and bro you have to bring back him to the show again after listening this podcast I felt this conversation is going to at utmost level for touching the heart of everyone who follow you both. I glade to see him again on your show so pls invite him because he is also my idol.
Glad you liked it bro ❤️
Can't wait for him to be back
@@BeerBiceps please bring John Abraham back 😊
I got teary eyed when you hugged him !!
this podcast is Gold 🥇
I have never seen a Bollywood showing his vulnerable side like this in interview or podcast. It's like he wanted Ranveer to cheer him up.
John is the ultimate introvert role model. The guy has it all, knowledge, humility, physique, empathy.
We listened to this podcast and got really deep insights about John's mind and his overall wellbeing, I personally belive that John is inspiration for Millions if not more and I felt he's really humble and not at all taking credit to what he has achieved. 39:14 At this moment I genuinely appreciate Ranveer that you hugged him John also needed it as he's really emotional on the inside!
John is the only outsider who’s made it without joining any bollywood camps… totally self made bandha hai ye… extremely honest.. always inspiring at any age!!
the end of the podcast really made me bawl. thank you ranveer for being the empath that you are, i see myself in you. much love to you brother. and i want to thank john as well for opening up and showing this vulnerable side to him. i hope he stops being so harsh on himself and finds his inner peace, ♥♥🙏🏻🙏🏻
RANVEER I HONESTLY TELLINGLY YOU THAT ...WHAT A SHOW YOU HAVE CREATED.
I inspired a lot with the celebrities.
About their failure and success 🙌
I can feel the emotions you were having when you hugged John Abraham. Superb podcast Ranveer, hats off to you. Please invite Shahid as well on your show sometime👍✌️
Got emotional during first half of this podcast, John is so humble and real, also very inspiring and healed me somewhere
It's hands down one of the best episodes of TRS to date. What a candid conversation over the podcast. John opened up himself like a normal being, not as an actor. He is so humble, grounded, and inspirational. Thanks to Ranveer for doing such a perceptive podcast. Keep marching on.
I dont know how to express how john's humility and honesty has moved me so much lately. Even though I am a woman I have always been inspired by john my whole life for his discipline and fitness. Thanks for bringing him on your podcast and asking him the things he really wanted to talk about . i can FEEL john also needed this podcast and a conversation with an evolved millennial like yourself ranveer. His advice at the end is very very wise and I can feel as if he was talking to all of us who are int he same age group like you. One of the best episodes of mine on TRS :-)
John is my idol since my college days! ❤️ Not because of his body but his overall body language and the way of communication! 💯
I don't know why tears came into my eyes at the end of this conversation. Love this podcast❤️
I generally don't comment on any such interview but i truly LOVED LOVED LOVED it... ❤. He is so genuine, honest, gentle and polite... admire that in a person.
You drove the conversation so wonderfully and asked such good questions... 👍🏼
Whenever I am lost in the dynamics of life, I come to TRS to get such meaningful-deep conversations, & I am elated every single time. So so emotional to watch the man himself, John narrate his vulnerable side with such humility. Pure admiration & love for him always. Extremely extremely eager for Shahid Kapoor's podcast!
You're my idol Ranveer....much love :)
Well, tbh, this podcast was very emotional, I still remember watching John's every action film when I was a teen, fantasizing to have a physique like him, started lifting weights seeing him, there is a lot John has done to our minds! I feel like Ranveer asked what all I felt! Thanks Ranveer.
A podcast where you'll find more guys cheering than girls for a person adored by everybody ❤ Also it shows how the world today needs to address mental health of men more. A week of job and weekends to chill, this podcast gave me a great start to chill 👌. Thanks for the podcast 👍🏻 ❤
I was feeling exactly like what Ranveer showed at the end of the show. John has done so much for our generation and he really is too harsh on himself. I too was hurt that he feels like this about himself. I wish he'll be able to find the state of happiness more often. Also Ranveer really is very smart and intuitive although I think his content and choice of guests can be improved.
I could see the pain on ranveer's face when John sir was talking. It internally pained him to see someone he loves and respects so much to not see themselves in the light they shine upon others.
I do not have the right to talk for John sir, but you have done perfect justice to the topic of your choice. This conversation was enlightening for all the boys who thought crying was a weakness. I'll have to make it a point to show to my brother when he is old enough. Thank you.
Such a beautiful candid conversation. John Abraham sounds so calm composed, sorted and clear. And yet he talks about himself facing issues and failures and being affected by them but still waking up and showing up. Hats off to John sir! Thank you so much Ranveer for making this podcast happen. :)
I feel it's probably because of the kind of aura & energy you carry and emanate around ranveer that people feel comfortable and want to get connected at a spiritual level. They open up shedding their inhibitions.Great going bro!
Never seen such an honest, humbling and yet informative and entertaining interview such as this!
John really has been desirable & inspirational for tons of ppl across generation..!
Interesting part of the interview is that he agrees to have made lots of money, survived the industry for so many years and still agrees that money can bring you close to happiness but there is still something more...
Quest of spirit is a subject to be pondered..!
yoga and meditation is not just lifestyle statement but way of life and a daily need.
I must say this is the best interview! I watch this till the end without skip. Such amazing and inspiration he is 💗💗
Don't know why the moment at the end the energy has huge emotional power in it, and i felt that and even my eyes had tears. Thanks Ranveer for brushing bringing this amazing video with one of the most humble humans in the industry
What a podcast man. We only knew John as an actor but the way we see him here is a person who can be a guide for your own life as well
It really opened my mind i used to believe that these celebrities are living life to fullest with rich money and all they have they don't have problems etc
I can’t tell you Ranveer how beautifully honest and extremely real this conversation was. Thank you 🙏
Loving john so much now. He is too honest and the real man . he should be spirituality awakened now to enjoy the legacy he bulit ❤️
After listening to this podcast... I feel very very emotional and connected to both of you... I actually felt like you are talking on my behalf..... I dnt know what connection we all have with John Abraham , but honestly I dnt want him to be upset and harsh on himself .... Just keep smiling
This is by far one of the best interviews with John Abraham! He is very harsh on himself. He is a wonderful human! Wishing John all the best! People are ravin' about him in Pathaan! All the best for everything coming your way John
I am weeping the corner. I can just feel both of them. John showing vulnerability so openly and Ranveer feeling bad about that was a emotional thing for me. Like a child Ranveer was trying to tell him you are loved was so sweet. The only podcast I ever cried 😭❤
This was just so synergetic and emotional. The depthness and vulnerability this man has projected is truly inspiring. Gratitude towards him for keeping us all young men boosted through and through. Positive vibes and blessings for him
This man is all time inspiration. He is the ONLY person i ever want to meet from the industry and just say thank you for all the amazing movies and the work he does for animals. 'JOHN ABRAHAM IS GEM OF A PERSON'.And Ranveer, TRS, is the show that i watch whenever i need the motivation, the insight, the path to kick start my work my life. TRS has worked like miracle for me lately. I listened to TRS for almost 2 months regularly and it helped me regain myself. Thank you Ranveer for this amazing show and THANK YOU JOHN sir, for being my FAVORITE ACTOR, Inspiration and a very amazing human.
All teary eyed watching this podcast. I think in today's world it's important to "talk" about your mind, your intuitions and your deep secret internal nuisances that in some way or other eat your mental health. Seeing John Abraham this way was unexpected and i absolutely adore him for being so honest, polite and transparent about everything in this life. I agree when you said that John need not be harsh on him. I can totally feel what you were feeling at that moment. Maybe he's so driven in the hussle that he hasn't seen the love and appreciation people have for him. All love and power to you both! Thankyou so much Ranveer for making this happen and thankyou John Abraham for being a man who is not afraid to put it out that even he cries.
"Teary eyed" Lol how cringy you are 😂
One of the best genuine podcast, I've seen seems like two friends are sharing their lives. Much Love to both of you ❤️
this is one of the most heartfelt and genuine star I have ever seen on a podcast ..Oh my god John Abraham absolute love and respect for this genuine person
That's so relatable, the way John says that sometimes I feel sorry for myself as there are so many things going on in my head. Such a genuine and authentic conversation for introverts like me..
I met John in 2006 in Houston at the concert. I was pleasantly surprised. So humble and down to earth. I see him being the same even after so many years and he is just a good soul to sum
It up. Wish him the best. My take away from this interview, he needs to know that he has made it and he is not an underdog anymore. He should open up and do more work.
For the first watching this podcast I cried….. I just loved this conversation….. love you John ❤️ thank you Ranveer 😍
Ranveer, ohhhh man!!! why this podcast is so short. I feel this each and every second, I mean I was connected with this conversation even after staying 8000 miles away from you guys. So much love and respect for you and your work. I wish I can meet you in personal in near future and learn whatever I'm able to capture. Honestly thanks brother for making me wiser, bit more aware, for all that spirituality lessons and a lot more. Many thanks!!!! And a tight hug🤗 And would like to say we need more of this kind of content. Appreciate it man!!!!!❤
This was from the heart ❤️ no filters no hypocrisy.. I got teary eyed at the end of it.. I wanna meet you and give you a big big hug Ranveer ❤️😍🤗

This is such a lovely episode.🌸 Watching two of my most favorite men makes me so happy.🥺❤❤ John has so many more episodes inside him. Pls bring him again soon🙏
Good job Ranveer. Felt like it was therapy for him. I think you helped him a lot to understand himself. The deep conversation always helps to heal. You gave him the respect he deserved. Thank you for showing him as a human being rather than an actor.
Congrats. This is called making it. To sit across from your idol and have a conversation like two gym bros. You're living the dream and it's of your making, reaped from your relentless hard work over the past few years.
This was a pleasure to watchJohn is an inspiration, so compassionate. It's clear that he's a consummate professional with an impeccable work ethic. John please have some self compassion too.
