I am a definitely a Moët type; however, I will be trying Veuve this weekend. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Why did you choose a burgundy glass for the champagne tasting?

I agree!!! SO FAR my first Champagne Veuve Clicquot is the best! Never tried the Moët & Chandon but I trust you! we did have a Louis Roederer Collection 243 and we didn’t like it as much (even though I think it was more expensive!) for the price Veuve Clicquot is solid and nice price!

Was reading about Pascal Agrapart yesterday, one of the finest wine makers in the Côte de Blancs. Will find a bottle of his champagne for the New Year as I’ve never heard of that name before.

I’ve always preferred the Veuve, but it can be a bit of, apples and oranges.
Tonight we had a bottle of Pillot, from the Aube, 100% Pinot Blanc, would love to see a video about the Aube, and or grower producers. Cheers

Veuve is our choice too. Costco has it at the best prices.

Julien, thanks so much for the great videos on these two champagnes! I love the more in-depth look and slower approach that you took with this subject, and your enthusiasm in the videos brings me closer to the experience of actually drinking the wines. Please keep the great content coming!

Could you do a video on the Jura wine region. I bought a rare bottle of Trousseau from Tony Bornard called Le Ginglet this evening. Jura is new wine region for me. Thanks 😊

Both mediocre… spend 20 bucks more and you get much much more quality! Salute!

You’re already paying a considerable amount on both as they are, not everyone can afford to spend even more money to enjoy a bottle of Champagne.

What’s your favorite at a step up in price from Moët and Veuve? (Say $80-85?)
