My icon shows my 37" hydroplane. I've had a GPS hit of 73mph on it. 8s with a 4061 motor. Amazing how these little boats just scream across the water! I loved seeing your big rigs out there, thanks for posting!

These big high speed catamarans are awesome. The power they have is truly unbelievable. My 42" Blackjack has been GPS at 75 mph / 121 kph so far. Though it's not anywhere near as fast as these boats its still plenty quick for what it is. My goal is to hit the 80's which is totally possible with the right setup. I also favor nitro hydroplanes because of their looks, speeds and the way they just glide across the water.

Is the runtime of these monsters just one time full throttle...???? Since both came in within a minute or so.

No, they can run about 5-6 laps, full speed. He's running it up then bringing it in to check the drive line. It's real bad news when one of these lose a drive shaft or prop. It can destroy the boat in an instant!

Der Propeller hat sich während der Fahrt verformt das ist aber nicht das erste Mal dass sich Propeller unter Leistung verbogen haben.
