Brake boosting, since the car has a larger turbo it will take longer to spool up(peak boost), so to counteract this the driver will apply more pressure to the brake and gas to keep the car moving at the same speed, but spooling the turbo up and preparing the car to make peak power right at the start of the race.
@Subhan Shahid No, because you are maintaining the agreed start speed. Brake boosting means you press on the gas while also pressing on your brake to build rpm/boost while maintaining the agreed speed. Just like drag racers do launching from the agreed on speed of 0mph. Both are on the gas before they start the race.
