Thanks for sharing this story with us, Jon! Elvis ❤️'d his peanut butter 😊 The fan that gave it to him sure knew what he/she was doing!
Thanks for presenting this story. I was at the night show to see Elvis at the Spectrum. I even walked over to the Hilton Hotel just to see if he was staying their. But the desk clerk said " NoElvis wasn't staying their , but i didn't believe him. but it was late at night after the concert, so we keep moving on, Now I wish I had stayed around to see for myself. Philly loved Elvis
Wow very cool!!!
I left the afternoon concert while he was singing the last song, ran outside to catch a glimpse of him in his limo. I missed it.
@@donnacallahan1368 wow, To leave early took so nerve , I know you hated to miss "Can't help falling in Love " He wore the Peacock suit that afternoon. Thats my favorite . wish you would have seen him - great memory though
Very interesting video

Very cool to have a photo in that same spot, especially now that it's gone!
Thank you 🙂
The Hilton was on Packer Avenue and the Spectrum was on Broad Street about a mile apart.
Cool! I just found your channel and subscribed! I've been to Marlow's while in Memphis! Great food. I'll check you guys out next time I'm in there.

Very Cool! Love your videos. Keep them coming!
No, I’ve never seen these pictures before Jon but, LOL, love them! 😃. Love your reenactment with your jar of peanut butter 🥜 🧈 . All you need now is some bread 🍞, bananas 🍌 and a skillet to fry up one of Elvis’s Famous sandwiches! 😋. I would love to have known what was in the note??? 🤔 🤷♀️. Thanks Jon!! This video was GREAT!! 👍👍👍👍
Sounds good!!!
This Skippy peanut butter is obviously Australian as our most famous kangaroo was called Skippy the bush kangaroo.
Now I really want to know what that note said 😂
I’m sure it had a phone number or address 😉
Would love to know more about your TCB necklace you’re wearing.
Loved that story would of liked to know if Elvis liked Australian peanut butter and wondering what was in the note got my curiosity. VICKI MACDONALD FROM Melbourne Victoria Australia

He appeared at the Philadelphia Spectrum on May 28, 1977, 2 and a half months before he died. He said, no matter what you hear about me, I'm in good health (he was drugged, extremely overweight and had to read the words to My Way) and I'll be back next year. Two and a half months he died in August 1977. I have the tickets to the concerts I attended...the 2pm one and the 8pm one in 1977.
Thanks for sharing
That’s your opinion, let’s see what you look like at 42 . He tried to please everyone but just run out of energy.
@@roberto0561 no opinion, just facts. No one loved Elvis as a fan more than I did and I was 19 when he died. Been a fan since I was 10 years old. I'm old now, 63 and still love him.
I was at that concert and That's exactly what he said. He knew the book was coming out soon- Love The King
Do they still sell it?
Hi Maree, you can certainly still get it in the UK. It's my fave....
