    As I see this video pop up in “my feed”. I’m reminded that this is the video that convinced me that MMHA was the place to be for my hypnosis training. Now I am firing my awesome anchor!

    I don't do inductions. I ask questions about the problem. Open ended questions, what's happening now questions... the trance occurs from the clients reflection on the questions. Then implication is used as the therapy. The questions clear out the issue then trance happens with out any blocks. The unconscious solves the issue

      Wonderful! (As long as the open ended questions are not "And how else can you make that anxiety even more horrendous?)

      That sounds like Spin Selling, which in my opinion seems to use some hypnotic principles.

    Loved everything About this. But I’m looking at this from a different perspective. I close sales for a living and I’m learning how to ethically use techniques like this so I can connect better with the prospects and understand why they want to buy. Versus being like these pushy sales people who try to force the sale.

    @Mike Mandel Hypnosis hi, i enjoyed your talk. i was wondering if you have any suggestions on the psychology of hypnosis or influence?

    • @MikeMandelHypnosis
      @MikeMandelHypnosis  3 года назад +1

      What do you mean exactly? Probably one of THE best books on psychology of influence is by Cialdini - Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion.

    • @Richard1979hush
      @Richard1979hush 3 года назад +1

      @@MikeMandelHypnosis what i mean is that I see hypnosis as a form of persuasion which is based on psychological principles since it deals with behavior and mental states. There are both positive and negative forms of influence and I'm curious as to how they function.

    • @MikeMandelHypnosis
      @MikeMandelHypnosis  3 года назад +1

      Scientifically speaking, hypnosis would be closer to the placebo effect than to persuasion. But if you're really interested in the science of persuasion, then Cialdini's book we suggested above is a no brainer.

      @@MikeMandelHypnosis Thanks for responding

    • @Richard1979hush
      @Richard1979hush 3 года назад

      @@MikeMandelHypnosis the placebo effect stems from the psychological state of the person being hypnotized which makes them more susceptible to it. if that person doesn't have the right state of mind they won't fall under hypnosis. this is where the persuasive abilities of the hypnotist comes into play in combination with how the other processes information.
