Since 30 years ago, I have heard Western media represented by the Voice of America say that China's economy is about to collapse, and they still say the same thing today. I don't know how long this lie will continue. It is conceivable how much suffering and perseverance China has endured to achieve its current achievements in an international environment such as endless slander and boycotts by Western countries. Pay tribute to the great Chinese people and the great Chinese government.

One thing I want to point out that driverless bus is possible in China is that China is absolutely safe and practically crime free. People follow the rules. They won't abuse the bus simply because it is driverless. So the concept can be developed into reality. Technology is developed based on the situation of society. Technologies like driverless buses, staff less 24x7 shops, face reading payment system, palm scanning payment, and many other technologies that are being developed and deployed in China are based on the fact that they won't be abuse.

Regarding the current status of China's autonomous driving industry: China has allowed more than 10 cities to allow autonomous vehicles to conduct commercial trial operations. Engage in commercial trial operations of taxis, city buses (electric) vehicles, etc. in specific areas and during specific periods of time. The race of major cities in China to compete for the "first city of autonomous driving" is accelerating. According to incomplete statistics, more than 40 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Changsha, have actively issued corresponding management measures or implementation rules, ranging from road tests, manned tests, demonstration operations to unmanned operations, etc. Phases of active exploration.

Regardless of politics one thing I admire is how clean the city is. And in China's case no one can give the excuse of population. China was the most populous country until few days back. I think cleanliness depends a lot on the education and awareness of citizen. In India we tend to live in a very dirty way , I respect my country but I have to admit what is wrong. People have no sense of cleanliness because thanks to our caste system we always expect someone else gonna clean our mess. Everywhere you look around people have a tendency to create more filth. Even educated urban people do not hesitate to keep their own home clean but throw garbage outside. Its the sad reality. If you go to a beautiful place that place is ruined with trash everywhere. Extremely frustrating.

I have visited many countries in this world in Asia, Europe, North and South America and few countries in Africa too. Being to India many times to New Delhi mostly attending trade show/exhibition at Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre. Of all the countries I have visited, in my opinion, India is the dirtiest and worst country for me. When I am in New Delhi for exhibition, I normally go to 3 places only. From airport to hotel and from Hotel to Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre and I don't go anywhere else because anywhere is dirty even the air. My first time in Delhi I went to Connaught Place in New Delhi once and never go again. I just can't enjoy myself there. I was followed by locals everywhere I walk to. Those are touting people knowing that I am a foreigner and they keep following me and pestering me to go shopping with them. Even the 3 wheelers tricycle riders stop their tricycle in front of me follow them and they will take me with in their tricycle and go for shopping. This country the people is the most irritating people that will never let foreigners who want to enjoy in your country peacefully. Fortunately I don't need to go again.

Mayor --> local governor --> premiere --> Politburo member --> elected president. This process takes 30 - 40 years. All previous presidents of China have a PHD in STEM. Xi Jin Ping has a degree in Chemical Engineering at Fudan University. He also has a Master in Economics, and a PhD in Law. Addiction to mobile phones and social media not just on the trains, but also when crossing the roads, which is a dangerous thing to do. Some people just don't have the commonsense, an accident can happen anytime and you've no time to react. Such addiction seems very prevalent in developed countries or regions where technology has penetrated into the lives of every individual. Even when meeting friends, each is looking into their mobile phones. I once told a friend off that id he's going to meet me for coffee and yet be so addicted to his phone, he might as well just chat with me on the phone and have virtual coffee with me. Roll eyes.
Driverless metros have existed for quite some time already in other countries (eg. Germany, Singapore, etc) . Driverless bus is also not something recent in China. I think as early as 2015 they were already on trial in Zhengzhou city - prob the first ever driverless bus trial in the world. I think the difference here is it's more complex to do it for driverless bus vs driverless subway as the roads have other oncoming traffic in its path and it has to be designed smart enough to recognize it.
