Diving towards legs, and pushing a player mid-layup or jumpshot ect, those aren’t unwritten rules, THEY ARE rules. They’re called as flagrant foul. Especially the pushing in mid-air, that’s incredibly dangerous.
More of a suggestion, really.
Do you want to have a relationship with someone who loves you beyond any other love. Someone who sacrificed himself for you and everyone on this Earth the one who created the heavens and the Earth be creator of everything do you want to be saved Do you want eternal life with peace and joy forever your answer is Jesus if you do not know who Jesus is read the following Jesus is the Son of God that came to this Earth to save the people of their sins. when God-created Earth sin same came into Earth and tempted Eve(The first woman) to eat the fruit that God had forbidden her and Adam to not eat. If they do, they will die. Not immediately but death is certain. Eve ate the fruit and gave Adam some to eat as well. And he did. That showed that humans are sinners and not perfect. That is why Jesus came to Earth to save humans of their sins. Which leads to a relationship with God(the main reason) and eternal life. He did that by dieing on the cross. 3 days later he resurrected. The story of Jesus is beautiful. If you do not already have a Bible, purchase one. If you do not have the money, pray to God about you wanting a Bible and if he could please provide one for you. Thus does not mean a Bible will come from the sky and land on your hands. Pray to God everyday. But to not be blabbering that just say a bunch words to try to impress and show off to other people or to impress God. A few words out of the heart is better than saying a bunch words to impress and not mean. This does not mean praying long prayers is bad.

@@floijd right right, so like the refs tell the other players "I suggest you don’t push another player so you don’t cause an injury or worse."
@@thatguyslay2950 Exactly. "If you could be so kind, as to not make your opponent a paraplegic. That'd be swell."
So basically the Pat Beverly starter kit?
In soccer, if you stop pressing because your team is losing and there is no time left on the clock your commitment is the one that gets questioned. Not the other guy who is kicking your ass. If your fans saw you give up like that be ready to have every beer in the stadium thrown at you BY YOUR OWN FANS. Don't get mad at the other team because they are dominant get mad at yourself.
in football you want to lose by less goals in basketball it will not mater if you lose by 20 or 22
@@snorrigunason7840 it does in some places in Europe. Not too familiar with international basketball to say what or where, but I've heard that there was some tournament type deal where teams would face off twice, if one team won by 20, the other team would have to win the next game by 21 in order to advance.
It simply childish if not plain stupid not to expect the other team to play all the seconds.
@@KaseyC. its like that in some Tournements but not that many
@@snorrigunason7840 ah. Like I said, not super familiar with international games, just heard about it once or twice
The defense from Gordan on Draymonds high five was just a fun one.
the westbrook one from 2:08-2:35 i completely understand cuz beverly did basically that exact same dive to westbrook in like 2014 and took westbrook out for the entire playoffs costing them a possible finals appearance seeing as they had the best WC record, and in the 2nd round all of their 4 losses were within 6 points
Yea and this was like 3 games after he returned as well
i will never understand what lowry was trying to accomplish with that move

I don’t think he knows either
when?
haven’t even started the video and i already know it’s him tryna go thru someone’s legs
I think he was tryna run through his legs thinking he was small enough to squeeze through
Unwritten rules (minus the ones that can cause injuries) are sooooo soft
I know, people get their feelings hurt so easily
long as the game still going, shouldn’t you be giving your all? Lmao they give up with 30 seconds to go and get butthurt if you continue to play the game for those 30 seconds
They don’t even make Sense logically, how is it disrespectful to play until the final whistle ? Surely that’s showing respect
@@Bickle121 STEPH IS HURT???

Three comments???
Kyrie throwing the game ball away against the nuggets is so hysterical 😂 @ 6:05
That LaMelo/Embiid steal was fine. There was still enough game clock left to pull off a miracle. He makes it a 5 point game with 10 seconds left.
I agree. Honestly, the losing team can’t ever be breaking unwritten rules for playing. It really bothers me when the losing team dribbles the ball out. Since when does the loser dribble it out? I also think winning team taking a violation is dumb as well though
@@aaronsmith4806 losers dribble it out all the time when they’re down 20 will less than a possession worth of game left. It’s basically an act of concession.
@@aaronsmith4806 No question, even down 20 I don't care if the losing team is still playing. Now if they were still fouling down big points that's a different story.
The way harden got hit had me crying lmao
i’ve never understood the “don’t score when you’re up” rule… like just win the game and it wouldn’t be an issue
I think it’s far more disrespectful to walk off early when the games lost (Bad boy pistons and Lebron in the 2020 finals spring to mind) than it is for the winning team to score in the final seconds when they’ve got the game won
On top of that, you only have yourself to blame if you also cause the turnover that allows the leading team to dunk it in the final 10 seconds of the game 😂 blame yourself not the other team.
Right? The aim of the game is to put the ball in the god damn hoop, how is this disrespectful?
Celtics did it against Detroit too
@@Smoochiewannasmoothie this was in the late 80s no?
3:40 don’t sign someone else up for a fight
I'm so confused as to why playing the game is considered 'unsportmanlike' in basketball. Any other sport you would be booed, yelled at or even thrown beer at if you just stop playing when you don't feel like it anymore. Absolutely mind bogling that players get mad at the other team for scoring when they also could just defend, crazy idea I know.
In every competition I've played in its expected to play it out. It seems to be an NBA only thing.
Exactly! Some people and players are so freaking soft
I dunno, in other competitions it's disrespectful to NOT play til the end. Even if you have won, playing til the end communicates to the other team that they are still an opponent taken seriously.
You can see kd’s achilles pop when he tries to explode, it makes his whole leg shake.. I can just feel the pain in my heel 😭
3:05 I see nothing wrong with this move.
Run up the score, at all times, games not over til the clock says 0:00
"I dare you do what you were paid to do while been up on the score" 😤
I thought the unwritten rule in the beginning was Marcus Smart jumping in the air and fouling Klay with his foot. The Curry thing is unfortunate. And Ben Simmons pushes Stephenson out of the way, then cries for a foul. 😆
They didn’t continue the replay. He continued to roll on Curry, rolling on to him after was 100% intentional
I don’t think Stephenson expected Simmons’ jersey to rip that easily.
4:07 even JJ is like what are you doing
yeah i know that Pat Beverly still got that beef towards Russ, always trying to injure him in every way possible when they play each other
Funny how they’re teammates now 😂
It seems like it's the other way around. Pat bev doesn't hold grudges like Westbrook does
@@bobby_hill8357 lol check out the pat bev podcast with jj reddick . It's the other way around
@@Craze_Lifter I did check it out. He did that interview when he was on a different team. His attitude towards Westbrook, and any other previous rival, is completely different when they're on the same team.
So, again, it is NOT the other way around bc Westbrook is a lot more petty about Bev than Bev is about him, right now, as we speak.
@@Craze_Lifter wasting your time.. this guy just doesn't like Westbrook.. I'd be mad at some clown role player taking a piece of my hall of Fame career too

2:11 bros playing football 😂😂
I’ve never quite understood why it is considered ”bad manners” to continue play until the clock is up. Why is that?
Because some players are incredibly soft and it hurts their feelings
@@kadengundersen498 Right. Is that a thing for american sports in general, or strictly nba unwritten rule? I have never seen anything quite like it in any other sport. If I am paying money to see a game, I don't think it is unreasonable for me to assume that the game will be played in its full time.
@@felixpetterssoncastillo4024 I'm fairly certain it's just an NBA thing
I am reminded of Shingen Takeda's words, "Half the victory is encouragement for the future, 70% victory is laziness, and 100% victory is conceit and contempt for the enemy." Shingen was a great man and a great general.
That Melo one is great thinking. Score was close enough where enough time on the clock and another quick steal and 3 makes a 2 point game. Crazier things have happened!
Most consistent RUclipsr . BEST VIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve Kerr more worked up about an opponent diving for a loose ball in a game than about his own player trying to concuss a teammate
According to Americans, this is supposed to be "the best league in the world", yet the unwritten rules are soooo soft 🤣
yeah i know those raptors fans were happy KD got hurt in game 5 , like that was still kinda dirty to do and be happy for him , but i'm glad Ibaka told those fans to like shut up, cause that's shitty
They were cheering because of the foul being called correctly, not because KD got injured. The refs were making atrocious calls all game for both teams and it just so happened to be a coincidence that KD got hurt on the same play. Canada ain’t like that fam
@@Aahb1999 there were some people pointing to kd thou, specially near the bench
@@Aahb1999 there were some people pointing to kd thou, specially near the bench
kd talked way too much trash to expect not to be booed in the playoffs. everyone being upset by that is so soft it’s crazy. dude literally just took a step and then snapped his achilles like an old ass man lmao obviously nobody thought he was seriously injured
Marcus smart is diving for the ball hustling he don’t care who is in front of him Kerr is tripping
One correction: it's not "breaking an unwritten rule" to kick a defender in the crotch when going up for a slam. I believe that there's a written rule against this.
LeBron should've gotten a T for throwing the ball at Barnes full force. The way the refs treat individual players differently ruins games.
no its a basketball play
smart was just going for the ball. get over “unwritten rules” ab that. every good coach will teach players to dive for loose balls. if steph dove for it, he could have had his legs out of the way
steph was running for the ball, smart dove for it. look who won the race if you wanna say i’m wrong.
@@ZacSquid what about that kick on klay’s shoulder/neck. You can’t say that was on accident. And horford landing on klay’s left shoulder
Same shit with russ and bev
Well when you look at the one with kyrie and Nassir Little, Kyrie tried to get out of the way but still couldn't. If you dive for the ball when it's at someone's feet or when they are closer to the ball then that is a stupid play that is dangerous. If they are neck and neck then you dive, but if you are behind don't do it.
Honestly, basketball needs more of this. Dudes need to get some attitude going on the court.
Just tell us you can’t shoot or have no skill.
Is it an unwritten rule to dribble the ball out with 50 seconds left and take a violation then the losing team does the same thing? That seems ridiculous. Never take a turnover! Shoot a bad shot if anything.
it’s soft if the game is in the final seconds and you get upset if the winning team scores
true , dont know why they get upset abt it
@@JovianNanda it will affect their data which basically decides their career. for example, if the ball is stolen by the opposite team in trash time, it will still be counted in ur performance. it matters a lot. also, it feels insulting if the losing team is not defending alr but the player still tries to score.
@@changwang7674 why they just lost it then? , just play the game like its normal time if they know abt that , why they act like the game already ended when its not .
@@JovianNandathere is a reason why its called trash time. with so little time, it is impossible to win back
@@changwang7674 no its not about the winning back tho , its about the data that you told me , if they want to keep their team performance good do defense then ? .
Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with Rondo sitting away frm everybody at the end?
5:01 what is bron doing man😭😭
He was trying to get the ball in his team’s possession but he was doing too much lol
NICE VID BRO !!!!!
Giannis and harden have the best beef 😂😂😂
Nah that one where Little dived for the ball was not breaking an unwritten rule. He was going for the ball Kyrie didn’t care to go for. Kyrie goes for the ball, that doesn’t happen
All the unwritten rules in nba are around sportsmanship.
Curry wouldn’t have gotten hurt if he simply dove for the ball the same way Marcus did, why is a player getting punished because another is half ass playing?
Anyone that’s mad at lamelo for taking the ball and bringing them within 5 when there’s still nearly 10 seconds left doesn’t know how basketball works.
Some people and players are just soft
I'm just a spectator and don't play ball ... What's y'all stand on the diving for the ball scenarios? It seems kind of difficult to make split-second decision hustle and having to be aware of where the opponent players are?
Using the Marcus smart example I see nothing wrong with that. He’s hustling for the ball which is all you can ask for. Just so happens that he fell on curry’s ankle. It was clearly an accident, he was just going for the ball so there shouldn’t be a problem really
If the ball is near another players legs or another player is at all between you and the ball, don't dive. You're gonna either hit them, or make them trip over you. You're a pro athlete and a leg injury could ruin somebody's career, and you probably won't get the ball either way
Nice video
Nice video it was uploaded 15 seconds ago
The Raptors fans weren't cheering because KD got hurt. They were cheering because their team got the ball back on a fast break. ESPN showing their bias once again smh.
5:20 if you watch Durant's leg closely, you can see it buckle. Ouch.
Lamelo stealing from embiid, can’t really call that breaking anything. Dude didn’t wanna give up. 8 points in 15 seconds could be done.
ofc marcus smart and lance stephenson are the first two clips
Fire
They’re too concerned about their stat line to play the games till the end… where I grew up it’s considered bad sportsmanship to give up even if you have no chance of a comeback.
Idk what happened with half this thing. Guy scores and the opposition get mad lol
Not even 5 minutes in and the sixers have been in multiple times…why do I like this team
Anyone that thinks the first clip is dirty has never played organized hall in their life. If you think that’s a dirty play then you’re not a good basketball player plain and simple
Some of these are not dirty at all. Ibaka didn’t do anything to KD to injure him, that was just unlucky.
The fans cheering was definitely a really bad look, but that part wasn’t included in the video
Pretty stupid that u get ejected with 1.5 seconds left
About a quarter of these fit the video description.
5:25 u can see his achilles snap
Bro you should upload content from the 80s/90s. A bully’s bully ball
The lamelo one was dumb tom include they were literally losing lol
Harden getting hit the face is never not funny LOL
Prime and all the way!
That played by Kyrie was dangerous. He should have tried to pick up the ball.
On this episode of “grown men getting upset due to damaged egos”
Players not playing until the end of the game are disrespectful, it’s not the other way round
The game ends till the last second in my opinion
Hey KD....stop skipping leg day....and arm day then leg day, then arm day...
man screw last second bucket rule they’re doing what they get paid to do … only sportsmanship i believe in is no intentional injury
What happened in the Celtics warriors one I’m confused
warriors fans like to bitch and moan that marcus smart intentionally tried to injure curry even though he dove for the ball to get it, the only thing that ACTUALLY broke the code is the fact that klay got kicked afterwards
Proverbs 13:2
A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
What’s the issue with dunking and scoring when the games won. And why do they stop playing when they know they’ve lost.
You should do can I have this dance moment s
I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again
Westbrook is the XqC of basketball
I could see dunking, when you are so far ahead as disrespectful, but other than that if the time is running go!
Unless the clock says zero you do what you get paid to do, score.
Unwritten rules, just a bunch of overinflated egos being bruised lol

LeBron didn't jump for the jump ball. Why would you willing give the enemy team an extra possession?
@@KaseyC. Lebron made a BUISNESS decision... probably didn't want to hurt his legs by jumping plus Holmes had the height advantage...so you're wrong
@@marcusbarkus921 hurting his legs by jumping for a jump ball? Bro what? I don't think a player has ever, not once, gotten injured or hurt on a jump ball. Height advantage or not, there are times where the smaller dude still wins the jump ball. It's not just about height, there's also wingspan and a player's vertical. LeBron's listed at an inch shorter with an inch and a half shorter wingspan, but a 10 inch better vertical (44" to 34"). Assuming that he can't win that jump ball without even trying is just ludicrous.
@@KaseyC. stfu he made a business decision he's LeBron he don't gotta do nothing...ain't no unwritten rule broken there...carry on kid
@@marcusbarkus921 Lebron is just a softie plain and simple
The Kyrie and Little one was Kyrie’s fault. Little is hustling for the ball and Kyrie gets in his way
Lamello ws playing to win huh? man said aight lettme get 1 more 3 and a layup in 5 seconds and we're in there.
That was pretty bush league from Bazley. If you’re going to run up the score at the end, you have to do a windmill or 360. A boring dunk is lame. Evan Turner had the right idea.
The Ingles one wasn’t dirty, shit happens
now look russ and bev are on the same team
Injury ones I get, but majority of these are just people being salty and/or soft
What I find funny is how soft the NBA is as an organization. Icing the basketball game with a layup when up by 8 is no different than a hockey player scoring a goal on an empty net. I swear that nba players are a bunch of divas
Kingswish u got xbox or ps
9:30 what did he do
if ur mad at getting dunked on that's a skill issue
The unwritten rule should be there if ur up by at least 15 points. If ur down by less than 7, then I don’t see why it’s a big deal
There should be no unwritten rule. They should play until the buzzer.
