Would of been nice if you tested one of the most important things... motion notification delay testing. Not something to skip.

Does this camera make noise while it is panning or tilting. Does it make noise when you access the live view? I have a camera that makes a noise when it tracks. A zinging sound which draws attention to it.

I dontcwant an outdoor cam. Can I put it indoor by my window so it ccan record outdoor activity? Secondly where can I purchase a longer cord

I like the Reolink cameras we have at work.
I was impressed by the audio and video quality.
If I set it to record to SD card, will it continue recording at the start of the card when the memory is full, similarly to dashcams that loop over oldest files?
Can the video be acceptable if say I'm at work and want to see what's going on at my home or do I have to be "in range"?
Yes as long as you connect a camera to the house Wi-Fi ..I am a truck driver and I could just open my app and see live footage at any time
Pre-Motion Record feature on this one? Others sometimes call this feature Color Pre-Roll.
Will this work if you mount it to the ceiling upside down ? Or will the footage be upside down?

Hello DYI Reid; great review! I have an iPad only! I don’t have an iPhone or smartphone! I want to know if this camera will work with my iPad! Also I’m physically disabled: 80% paralyzed, 75% blind and speech impaired (slurred speech!) anyhow, will I be able to “monitor” my room remotely when I out in my mobility scooter? (I live in a nursing home and lately I found several of my belongings missing when I came back from outings! I want to find out who’s the “culprit!” W ho is the thief amongst the nursing staffs! I can use some of my fingers, I can navigate the iPad screen, the REOLINK E1 app (please reply ASAP and let me know what you think!) or if you have other inexpensive camera that I can use, let me know, thank you very so much and stay safe 👨🏻👨🏽🦽🛌🕊♥️🙏🏼👍🏼
If the Reolink app works on the iPad then I’d say you’re good to go. As long as you can connect the camera to the network.
Can it upload recorded videos to a NAS via WIFI?

Kelly Lee I ended up going back and forth in emails for 2 weeks with Reolink, which turned out for me to finally return it and they sent me another one. It was defective camera. Thank you for response

Does it make siren sound when there is a motion ? I just bought a different camera for my baby’s room. It makes siren sound and my baby suddenly wake up. I don’t like this function so I decided to return. Now m looking for another one.
