Why the hell are there 10 thumbs down on this (vs only 37 thumbs up at time of writing)? I mean if you don't like the library fine. That's not Dory's fault. I'm just grateful that you're out there demoing libraries so we can hear and get some idea of how these things work in practice without having to spring for a purchase completely blind. Thanks Dory.
I gave it a thumbs up; however, the sound is very bad in places, when Dory plays pieces and moves away from the mic while doing so. Maybe that was enough for some people. Anyway, the whole library is now available for 79 Euros via VSTBuzz, and Dory's videos have convinced me that that's a good deal.
Thanks for €79 it would be good value. Some people just like to use thumbs down to show their discontentment :-) I’m not putting these videos up for “thumbs up” I’m doing them for information and that’s fine
13:05 If you change the release time ... I do hear a difference in length there. It's just mudded by the reverb time, so you don't really notice it that much.
2.55 - The simple way to tell whether you are using CC1 in Kontakt is of course to just pull up the virtual keyboard from the main menu which has a modulation wheel built into it that responds to CC1. It's not perfect but it does at least give you an idea of what's going on. A good overview though, nicely done. :)
@@DoryVideo SORRY, I AM REFERRING TO THE KONTAKT KEYBOARD, VIEWING THE KEYBOARD AT THE TIME OF SAMPLE PRESENTATION IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO MAKE YOUR REVIEW MORE COMPLETE .. .. (KEYBOARD)
The library is good, but it needs the big and visible to unaided eye dynamics knob in UI, as it is in NI Symphony Series. Nobody will dispute that it is not optional but essential. Like breathing. ) BTW live players do always alternate their blowing.

Thanks, sold! This sounds like a great way into woodwinds.

Ah ok I’ll do that next time. I think it only really matters when keyswitches are being used.
@@DoryVideo EXACTLY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING .... BUT SAMPLE SOUNDS AWESOME AND REALISTIC, CONGRATULATIONS !!!

Nice review -- thanks. Your voice goes in and out quite a bit, so I missed some of what you were saying.
Thanks, sorry about that there was some kind of ducking acting on the audio recording. This won’t happen again as I’ve changed the way I record.
