Now I'm not sure wheater or not I will expect an answer from you, but long story short..... I found a second road legal MC8. Yep. If you want more info, I have discord. its too bad theres so little hype around this, its a one of a kind homologation lemans car that vanished for like 20 years and suddenly reappeared, sounds like a cool ass story to me and its a cool ass car
I think they would of had a higher chance at success in Lemans by converting to regular sw20 to double wishbone suspension, add copious amount of hp and go racing.
The MC8 was registered in Europe for some time before it made its way back to Japan. I believe this was related to the homologation requirements of Le Mans.
@@deanishere7237 The UK MR2 community ran the plate and found that it was registered December 22 1994 but no clues about the owner was revealed. I believe Y-san may be in contact with the previous owner, however. This will be a good follow-up question for him. Thanks!
Can you release the original Japanese responses to your questions? I lived in Kobe City for years and think there might be some stuff missing in translation. One thing for sure is Y-san definitely has some money if he’s owned an NSX. They’re very expensive in country and for him to drop ¥3M on an MC8 means he’s got disposable income. Just kinda profiling the guy based on experience is all I can’t wait for video to come out
@@frankhernandez6524 The best fact the interior its more big and spacious than a suzuki cappuccino or a mazda miata and the honda beat but these micro machines with the MR2 are fun to drive I wish have a suzuki cappuccino the engine only have 3 cylinders but that engine can rev to the 10.000 revs almost 13.000 in the turbo version because the car its light and the engine too its a good combo I'm the owner of a TOYOTA MR2 SW20 and a MAZDA MIATA NA
