My 7 year old finally gave me some peace and quiet so I was able to start watching your videos. And I started with this one, the BIG one, wich I've been wanting to see for days. And I've got to tell you Olivier...I still can't quite believe you three were able to catch the two great titans completely off-guard in the start. Leaving Killian and Stefan behind is...an achivement just on it's own, specially after Killi's race last year. He was itching to win this year and beat Stefan. He did beat him but still arrived after you! And you rode a near flawless race. Congratulations, it was a well deserved podium, again! It's a shame that Hugo's pace that day was pretty much bleastering intouchable because you should have won this! I send you my regards, again, from Portugal!

      Thx for the questions.
Cleaning the lens is not a big deal and you guys like a clean view. 😘
The race is 21km long and about 2700m of downhill. On friday we race qualifications on a shorter track.
I use the same bike for the whole year. It will get scratched, but it works perfect. We change brakepads, tires, wheels, get our suspension serviced, change bearing of the frame 1 or 2 times a year,… the frame can brake after a big crash,… but I don’t think this happens often.

Why do you ride the Genius and not Scott's enduro model Ransom?
Amazing riding, do you know every meter of the track or is it sometimes riding blind?

The Genius is the perfect bike for 95% of my riding. And it’s an efficient pedaling bike. Important for enduro racing.
Also loved the Ransom for the last 3 years.
We can ride the track the whole week. But still not easy to remember every stone.

Wait up - how fast were you going at 29:58 when you decided to double no-hander shake your arms loose? o_O Insane run, well done!

If I look @ my Garmin app, I was riding 45-50 km/h. On the wide and clean trail. Perfect time to shake the arms.

@@olivierbruwiere Hah, awesome! Such a great race, I loved the full on attack down the snow at the start, head down and brakes wide open!

What is that front tire? It looks like a Wild AM2 but on your Instagram EXT image I believe it says "Wild Enduro" in grey? Also what is that rear tire? Thanks.

I’m riding Michelin Wild Enduro tires. These ones are not yet for sale.
