In my opinion, this was clearly set up. Abby wouldn't have allowed William to show her his solo while Pressley was learning hers. Plus, you never saw them both on screen at the same time, so Pressley was probably taking a break. Just my opinion though.

Are you talking about Ashley or Ann? I think that Joanne is like Jill, in an earlier episode (Broadway Brat) there was an interview scene where she was saying how Gianina went on Broadway. And if you were to search up the definition of defect, you would see her and her kid. But don’t worry I respect your opinion :)
@@reeka5549 i think joanne talking about gianina's achievements is a smart move. after the og girls left dance moms, abby took all the credit for their success and got mad at them for no longer talking to her anymore. in gianina's case, she was already successful before meeting abby, so abby can't take full credit of gianina's success. in the dance industry, experience is everything and her being on broadway opens up a lot of opportunities.

Ann, Savannah's mom, Tricia and the little Kamryn's mother were the only sane ones on season 8. And Gianna also mellowed down, becoming similar to her sweet self in season 1 and 2.

You can tell that Pressley left the room and was on a break while William was doing his solo.
If he directly interrupted her rehearsing - which he didn't - there is no way that Abby would've let him run his solo.

god, one jacket and ashley's ego has inflated so much.
right so, i think william went in at the end of hannah’s rehearsal (since she can be seen in one of the clips) before pressley even started her solo practise. (they aren’t seen in the same shot together) the mothers never mentioned it being in the ‘middle of rehearsal’ they just said it was using up pressleys time. (this could easily be at the beginning of practise) and it was probably the producers idea to send william in. also pressley is a nice girl so she would get out of the way if someone else was dancing but in some of the shots you can see pressley sitting down in the middle of the studio and then william dancing in the exact same spot (pressley would have moved if william was there) just what i spotted but feel free to add more 😊😊😊
I imagine the producers got William to go and ask during the break Presley took, leading to the mom's argument, but I'm sure Abby wouldn't have done that. It's more then likely to have been after Hannah's reversal, which is why she's in the shot as he walks on in :///

This scene is edited. You can tell by where in the room abbey and william are to where presley is when they cut back to her at about 2:10 they show abbey watching william in the back corner nearest the door and when they cut to presley you can see in the mirror there is no one there.
I think the producers made Ashley say that Presley was a star. She seemed to hesitate beforehand.
