    Love all your wonderful recipes! Going to make this for sure !! Do you use Indian basmati rice? I use the American kind but it’s always gluey. Thank you!

    Yiassou Dimitra, A’s a Greek Australian I’ve always thought “saganaki” was fried cheese. I now know that saganaki comes in a lot of different forms. What is the definition of saganaki ? Well from your village anyway... I’m sure different horia would have different definitions... kali orexi 🙏

    • @DimitrasDishes
      @DimitrasDishes  5 лет назад

      Saganaki does mean fried cheese. Also, a very popular dish throughout Greece is shrimp saganaki, basically shrimp cooked in a tomato sauce with feta. Hence the title :) All the best!!

    Hi Dimitra! When you have time, will you please answer this?: For your job, you cook for 2 different groups of people. One morning group, one afternoon group. You do your very best shopping and cooking your own recipes. The buffet tables look so good that you've prepared at the appropriate dinner times. The people eat, you clean up, washing whatever pots and pans you've used. The question is this: Would it bother you if you are RARELY, I mean RARELY thanked?

    • @DimitrasDishes
      @DimitrasDishes  5 лет назад

      Awww, YES!! The joy of cooking comes from wanting to please the ones you love by nourishing them with delicious food (that takes a lot of effort). If they are not grateful, it would break my heart... I'm so sorry!!

      @@DimitrasDishes ..... thank you for your time in replying. I go through this everyday. I rarely get thanked! WTH is wrong with people? (and both groups are "religious" people!)

    Oh Lord the recipe looks good but that circus music in the background. No.

      I much preferred the older music. It sets up a Greek mood nicely before the show begins. cheers.
