I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone. Women tend to be more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more kind hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Okay, so. There’s this really popular guy in my class. I’m kinda shy sometimes and I don’t talk a lot in class, but it’s my senior year and I started feeling confident. Him and his friends started talking to me, laughing at my jokes and sitting with me. (I sit alone) He’s good looking and tall. We started having conversations about where we’ll go after we graduate. He said to me he’s going to start a summer job. When we were having this conversation his friend asked him to go with him to get food and he said “Cant you see I’m in a conversation?!” It felt weird, cause I didn’t know how I felt abt him yet. We had exams and they put us in the same class. We are opposite of each other and I thought he was looking at me but I didn’t look at him. Before that he walked up to me and didn’t say anything. He just looked at me. The he made a “disgusted” face, playfully and I looked at him and had a shocked face, like I was “offended”. He smiled and left. The last day of the exams he was leaving with his mom and he whistled at me and asked me if I was gonna be at graduation and I said yes. He said “Cool, I’ll see you there.” And did a weird thing with his hand. As if he wanted to wave and do this 👍 at the same time. I did the exact same and he left. I don’t know what to do, cause after graduation I don’t think I’ll see him again.

@@TheKruelka everyone is different and all relationships are different . That being said if you're obsessive and can't control your jealousy that's a problem in relationships sooner or later. Jealousy is a good way to figure out what you want, so it's also a good way to figure out what others want too. Being playfully jealous and joking to show your interest but not overbearing or controlling or causing someone anxiety I guess. I think the best thing is to just be honest with how you feel and those that matter won't mind.
i remember telling my crush my friend’s names and he remembers them all even tho he barely knows them, not to mention the fact that he remembers tiny details such as ‘oh you brought a different pencil case today’ so thats a good sign. another sign is if he tries avoiding you or acts awkward around you, or his friends might change the topic when you say something about him, or they’ll start shouting ‘(name) LIKES YOU!’ when you go near them. this is from personal experience lol

@@frogoyes7611 Sometime back in February, I had asked him if he’d want to hang out sometime and his response was very hesitant which I knew meant no (he asked me to define hangout and define sometime). I texted him the next day to clarify, and he responded with a very lengthy response saying that he doesn’t deepen friendships with girls on an individual level unless he’s trying to date them because he doesn’t want to blur the lines of friendship-dating-relationship, etc. We still only talk when it’s just the two of us. We may not always have nice long conversations, but we rarely talk when others are around. If I do talk to him around others, he gives me minimal responses or reactions versus when we’re by ourselves

Next time he mentions it say it’s not something he has to worry about, or as I mentioned earlier, say you like it. Men generally don’t get a lot of compliments, especially stuff they feel insecure about. At the very least it’ll make him like you more for saying that.

So True Medallion, I know you might not read this but...yeah, jus pls read it So there's this girl I met last year, and she is super similar to me (practically a female version of me). We're both super smart, tall, have dark brown hair, roughly the same age (unsurprisingly), and we both have *extremely* similar personalities. We had to do an introduction or something on a certain person in the classroom, and I was paired up with this girl. I learned a lot about her, and she learned a lot about me. Ever since then, I've had a huge crush on her. Lately I've been seeing signs that she likes me, and since we are both super similar, we're both slightly introverted. So I am naturally good at hiding my feelings for her, even *too* good. Now I'm on break, and I'm sort of certain that she had a huge crush on me when I had a crush on her, but I've been too good at hiding my feelings for her so she started liking this other guy who is not introverted AT ALL. The reason I'm saying she is starting to like *this guy* is because his reputation has always been kind of like my equal match (even though I know I'm likely the more superior one). We're good friends, but ever since he's seen that the girl might like me, he has started I guess... hitting on her (?)... But yeah, and she has started simping for him, while (I guess) slightly showing me that she still likes me. The reason why I think she likes me in the first place is because, first I caught her glancing at me, then staring at me, and then randomly coming up to me to talk and showing that I am significant or important, and then complimenting me. I know for a fact, that since I am likely a better fit for her than the other guy, and she liked me before, I could possibly win her back since she and the other guy haven't really initiated yet. I know it wouldn't be too awkward if I just tell her that I have feelings for her because I know she still has feelings for me, but I am so worried to tell her that, not because I fear rejection, but rather I fear that extreme awkwardness if she doesn't like me as much as I like her. So, True Medallion, if you did read that, (which if you did you are an absolute saint) please give me some tips/tricks to possibly gather courage to go and tell her, and how to tell her or ask her questions to get certain answers or something something that. P.S. Just to let you, I have a speech impediment or I just stutter a lot, so everytime I do that, people really lose faith and/or respect in me and sort of make fun of me. Anyways, thank you!
Haha I did actually read this. ;) So you mention that you're afraid of the awkwardness afterward if she rejects you, but you're not afraid of the rejection itself. It takes two to be awkward. What if you mentally prepare/train yourself to not be awkward after a rejection. For instance, when I do things or take action on things, I normally role play by myself. Creating multiple situation/scenario in my head of how things will play out (the best case scenario and the worst case scenario). Role play with yourself and think how you would act/behave if you get rejected. Think about how you would handle the situation. Will you not talk to her after the rejection? Will you play it as something casual, knowing that one day you'll find someone who'll like you for you? Etc... If she wants to be awkward, that's totally up to her since you can't control her feelings or emotions. When you reach a point, where you can take/handle rejection and awkwardness altogether, you'll notice how many people you will attract. And of course, I'm talking about in your life time, and not just a couple of people that you know right now. So yes, go in and ask her and let her know how you feel about her. Don't be afraid of the awkwardness because you have control over it and if she wants to be awkward, then that's totally fine (which I don't think she will be awkward since she's the one doing the rejecting). At the end of the day, ask yourself if you'll regret it if you don't say anything at all. Hope that that kind of answers your questions. :)

I'm the 3rd wheel now... as if i never existed...And I think no im pretty sure that there's something going on between them. I know he hides it from me. But the thing is he shows me signs that he likes me too but hangs around her 24 7. But I gotta admit they fit better together than I do with him. I guess I just lost. It could just be his personality (friendly, nice, flirty). Sometimes people are like that, plus, it's work, probably doesn't want to wear a ring during work, or he's trying to make work fun. After all, going to work every day could be a drain, so why not make the best of it. And definitely, if he's married, you don't want to be that person breaking up a relationship that's already there.

He seems like he’s crushing on you and from the looks of it, it’s been a while. Don’t be upset if he is dry over text. A lot of people are like that. He might feel awkward and embarrassed about it though. I would say try to do stuff to test if he likes you…like mentioning other guys. Another really great and easy tool is learning about body language and eye movements. 70% of human communication is through body language! Do a bit of research on it….it’ll save your life!

Okay, so. There’s this really popular guy in my class. I’m kinda shy sometimes and I don’t talk a lot in class, but it’s my senior year and I started feeling confident. Him and his friends started talking to me, laughing at my jokes and sitting with me. (I sit alone) He’s good looking and tall. We started having conversations about where we’ll go after we graduate. He said to me he’s going to start a summer job. When we were having this conversation his friend asked him to go with him to get food and he said “Cant you see I’m in a conversation?!” It felt weird, cause I didn’t know how I felt abt him yet. We had exams and they put us in the same class. We are opposite of each other and I thought he was looking at me but I didn’t look at him. Before that he walked up to me and didn’t say anything. He just looked at me. The he made a “disgusted” face, playfully and I looked at him and had a shocked face, like I was “offended”. He smiled and left. The last day of the exams he was leaving with his mom and he whistled at me and asked me if I was gonna be at graduation and I said yes. He said “Cool, I’ll see you there.” And did a weird thing with his hand. As if he wanted to wave and do this 👍 at the same time. I did the exact same and he left. @@TheKruelka everyone is different and all relationships are different . That being said if you're obsessive and can't control your jealousy that's a problem in relationships sooner or later. Jealousy is a good way to figure out what you want, so it's also a good way to figure out what others want too. Being playfully jealous and joking to show your interest but not overbearing or controlling or causing someone anxiety I guess. I think the best thing is to just be honest with how you feel and those that matter won't mind.

@@frogoyes7611 Sometime back in February, I had asked him if he’d want to hang out sometime and his response was very hesitant which I knew meant no (he asked me to define hangout and define sometime). I texted him the next day to clarify, and he responded with a very lengthy response saying that he doesn’t deepen friendships with girls on an individual level unless he’s trying to date them because he doesn’t want to blur the lines of friendship-dating-relationship, etc. We still only talk when it’s just the two of us. We may not always have nice long conversations, but we rarely talk when others are around. If I do talk to him around others, he gives me minimal responses or reactions versus when we’re by ourselves

So True Medallion, I know you might not read this but...yeah, jus pls read it
So there's this girl I met last year, and she is super similar to me (practically a female version of me). We're both super smart, tall, have dark brown hair, roughly the same age (unsurprisingly), and we both have *extremely* similar personalities. We had to do an introduction or something on a certain person in the classroom, and I was paired up with this girl. I learned a lot about her, and she learned a lot about me. Ever since then, I've had a huge crush on her. Lately I've been seeing signs that she likes me, and since we are both super similar, we're both slightly introverted. So I am naturally good at hiding my feelings for her, even *too* good. Now I'm on break, and I'm sort of certain that she had a huge crush on me when I had a crush on her, but I've been too good at hiding my feelings for her so she started liking this other guy who is not introverted AT ALL. The reason I'm saying she is starting to like *this guy* is because his reputation has always been kind of like my equal match (even though I know I'm likely the more superior one). We're good friends, but ever since he's seen that the girl might like me, he has started I guess... hitting on her (?)... But yeah, and she has started simping for him, while (I guess) slightly showing me that she still likes me. The reason why I think she likes me in the first place is because, first I caught her glancing at me, then staring at me, and then randomly coming up to me to talk and showing that I am significant or important, and then complimenting me. I know for a fact, that since I am likely a better fit for her than the other guy, and she liked me before, I could possibly win her back since she and the other guy haven't really initiated yet. I know it wouldn't be too awkward if I just tell her that I have feelings for her because I know she still has feelings for me, but I am so worried to tell her that, not because I fear rejection, but rather I fear that extreme awkwardness if she doesn't like me as much as I like her.
So, True Medallion, if you did read that, (which if you did you are an absolute saint) please give me some tips/tricks to possibly gather courage to go and tell her, and how to tell her or ask her questions to get certain answers or something something that.

Haha I did actually read this. ;) So you mention that you're afraid of the awkwardness afterward if she rejects you, but you're not afraid of the rejection itself. It takes two to be awkward. What if you mentally prepare/train yourself to not be awkward after a rejection. For instance, when I do things or take action on things, I normally role play by myself. Creating multiple situation/scenario in my head of how things will play out (the best case scenario and the worst case scenario). Role play with yourself and think how you would act/behave if you get rejected. Think about how you would handle the situation. Will you not talk to her after the rejection? Will you play it as something casual, knowing that one day you'll find someone who'll like you for you? Etc... If she wants to be awkward, that's totally up to her since you can't control her feelings or emotions. When you reach a point, where you can take/handle rejection and awkwardness altogether, you'll notice how many people you will attract. And of course, I'm talking about in your life time, and not just a couple of people that you know right now.
So yes, go in and ask her and let her know how you feel about her. Don't be afraid of the awkwardness because you have control over it and if she wants to be awkward, then that's totally fine (which I don't think she will be awkward since she's the one doing the rejecting).
At the end of the day, ask yourself if you'll regret it if you don't say anything at all. Hope that that kind of answers your questions. :)

okay so I've been seeing other people make lists here so I may as well ask for your opinions too since i cant tell if he likes me
I'm friends with this guy who got moved into my class this year. We went to different primary schools and I sort of met him when we did a local maths competition, so I've known WHO he is for a while but its like one of those people you meet and never think about again.
Then in our first year of highschool someone from his class came to mine and said that he liked me, but since for me dating people isn't something I throw around lightly, i said know since I didn't know him really at all. heck I don't even know if that kid was serious or not.

- and we were doing track practice and we had no choice and I’m not the best runner and I’m not the biggest fan. And I was doing awful and I was loosing a race and when I finished after eveyone else he said that I did great and was cheering me on the whole run even though he won and that I did great and was just being weird and not himself again.

I have been liking a guy from my class since 9th class to 11th class,for 3years he used to ignore me, tried to find ways to stay away from me but from the past 3 months he talks to me,makes eye contact and finds excuses to be close to me,we share different classrooms but still at the last period he comes to my classroom to talk with me and wait till I get out of the room and he shows similar signs from the video as well,few days ago we also exchanged letters and he said I will keep this letter safe forever but I don't know if he really likes me or not and I'm afraid to ask him straight,what should I do?
After a while if texting my online friend, whom I was starting to like, first all the time, I ghosted him for a week. He never texted me after. I think he was interested at first when we started talking, but lost he wasn't ready. He talked about me to his family 😩 he was the kindest guy I had ever met. I noticed towards the end of the year he grew distant and began ghosting me. I tried to keep the connection alive, but grew tired of it. He never texted me after I finally quit texting first, so I ended up removing him a year later from my friends list. Normally, I wouldn't, but it had been a long 4 years on and off talking that I was getting sick of. He'd text me for a year, ignore me for a year, then repeat. Each year I fell for him too. He wasn't ready, I was, it just would never be a good relationship.
Now, there's this other guy I met who I'm trying to make sure doesn't like me and that I don't like him 🥲 we're part of a trio, and I don't want that strong bond between all 3 of us to be severed by any relationship

ok so, it’s the 3rd day of school right? i think this guy likes me, but i don’t want to be too confident and say the wrong thing to him.
