Such a beautiful piece. Captures the sense of lypophrenia just right. It's such a gift to witness your creative process. Thank you for bringing us along.
ykw! If I have to choose between a netflix subscription and yours I will choose yours at any given day. I am a designer myself and I know how hard it is to acquire skills to pull of sth like this. This is jaw-dropping. This is blissful. This is chilling.
Thank you so much for sharing your drawing technique! Your talent is truly inspiring, and watching your process has been incredibly helpful. Your work is amazing, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to learn from you!
Misako-san, thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Your mastery of oil pastels is sublime. I am so glad I discovered your channel. There aren't that many professional artists who specialize in oil pastels. Your videos are truly a joy. Thank you!
Ваши видео на фоне намного лучше прочего, что я обычно ставила на фон любых своих дел Приятный ASMR, который сильно не отвлекает но и не позволяет грустить и думать о лишнем ❤
Is that Canson Mi-teintes pastel paper? It seems pretty textured. Really nice demonstration how to use oil pastels: first hard pastels like Neopastel tehn softer brands like Sennelier on top.
This is a beautiful piece, and love the quiet, no music. Who is the reference painting artist? I bought some beautiful creamy pastels. I love watching and getting tips from your process. Is this Fabriano paper? Or a mixed Media strathmore? Thank you and Merry Christmas 🙏
Thank you so much! The reference I used is a photograph, titled 'Alfred Thompson Gobert' taken by Louis-Rémy Robert (French, 1810-1882). I use Strathmore pastel paper for this painting :)
@@MisakoFlodin it’s one of my favourite pieces of yours so far . Loved the museum tour video in Boston. It must have been amazing standing in front of those paintings
She's simply the best with oil pastels. Wonderful work.

How do you record in every angle? I've always been curious 😂 your videos look so professional ❤
Thank you! I use a gooseneck camera mount. I consistently bump my hands into the camera, so It’s surprising that my camera hasn’t given out yet🤣
@@MisakoFlodin you're welcome! And omg I bet it gets tricky to film sometimes 🤣

why did i think you couldnt mix the neocolor II with oil pastels...... my color options have just now expanded.
Your art is amazing.. I use Sennelier oil pastels for a while but I want to try another brand (72 colors) Which one do you recommend?

Wonderful as always. May I ask what pencil you use to draw out the image prior to using oil pastels? Thanks
thank you❤️ I use Faber-Castell pitt pastel pencils :)
What type of art books do you recommend for oil pastels ?
Excellent! What paper do you use?
I used Strathmore pastel paper for this one☺️
Can I ask where you got the reference😊😊
First ❤❤❤
😆✨❤️
What is your artistic philosophy of not adding cross hatching?
Thanks for not adding music. Seriously
🌈♥️🧡💛💚🖤💙🤍💟
