I am also amongst the obvious many that rewound this part of the movie when they were in Laura's apartment. However, I would like to comment on the compositional genius of the song. Notice the very oriental instrumental that is woven into this song. It not only fit the scene and the characters but the underlying theme and essence of the movie which had a strong martial arts/oriental flair. To top it off, the average person would still chill to this song today. So I say, definitely compositional genius. Not many songs pull this off, not even ones that have gotten Grammy's. So sad that great art rarely gets recognized.
