I strongly recommend to file a case on showroom coz u have all the proofs supporting your stand. New buyers, please make a note it it’s Autorelli Nissan @kolkata. These people should be punished.

On what point do you suggest to file the case? Nissan or dealer? For what, problems in documents by dealer?
Nissan is not bound to exchange the car as per the warranty agreement legally.
Why are you extending the owner’s problem?
@@how-2465 bhai haraam ka paisa hai kya. I think there is a fraud racket is being run by dealer and sufferer should definitely file a case against the dealer and company. So that the company be pressurized to replace the vehicle and cancel the dealership of faulty dealer.

@@chandsingh2733 It’s pandemic time, time to be smart, try to reduce loss or hardship. To be frank there is not much legal ground against Nissan, there is a chance by suing the dealership but that legal hassle is not going to be worth the court result. I don’t think the court will pass a judgement to replace the car to the dealership for error in documentation etc. plus the lawyer will take the car owner for a ride and the case may go on for at least 2-3 years.
One reason big MNCs avoid investing in India is that the judiciary system in India is very slow and a big hassle, so personally I wouldn’t want to get into legal hassles unless absolutely necessary.
It’s easier said to sue this and that company. Engine failures do happen in new cars and that’s why warranties are there to get customer’s confidence, and the law of the land agrees to it. I have never heard of a judgement that had customer being provided a replacement of a car unless there is a compromise with structure etc with safety of passengers.
Unless someone wants to help him with legal hassles and funds, or if he is a lawyer, in which case he would know that the return is not worth, it is best to not encourage someone.

If company has no control over the dealers, then what is use of company brand name and quality.
I think Ikbal Ansary was the first owner of the car, he returned the car due to an engine issue and then This man purchased the car. Maybe this is the trial car sold to ansary. The car must be exchanged for a new one otherwise a legal case must be filed against the showroom.
Had best driving experience in the magnite. best highway riding, comfortable car for a family. 💗

I purchased XV non turbo. Now 4000 kms. Good performance, great car. Big space in engine room, unlike turbo. So cool and happy ride. Average 15 km for a litre.

Please lodge an FIR against the showroom & file a case in the consumer court. Nissan has to give you a new car to protect their reputation This has to come on social media for awareness

In kerala one magnite car has turbo defected the dealer changed the parts with completely free..The parts delayed more than one month dealer given the another sunny car to customer.after reparing dealer given the car 5years fully warenty.Complaint direct to company

कंपनी और कार दोनो अच्छी है, लेकिन कार डीलर कंपनी की छवि खराब कर रहे है। कार डीलर को इस स्थिति में नई कार देनी चाहिए। उपभोक्ता न्यायालय भी जाया जा सकता है।
Consumer Court me kam se kam 5 saal lag jayenge. Police FIR ho sakti hai kyunki gaadi ke papers owner ke sath match nahi karte... aise hi Dealership pe pressure padega...
Lodge FIR against showroom MD as well as MD of Nissan. Also file complaint in District Commission for exchange of car with compensation.

You should take the car if they replaced entire engine. Ensure the RC has you as first owner. Go to consumer court and you can claim compensation for the troubles you faced. They won't replace the car, unless few such cases come up for other customers and they collectively demand.

Sirji, I am sorry to hear your new magnite engines siezed. You should have gone for Ford Ecosport or Nexon Or XUV 300 or Creta as your driving petrol, and Nissan`s cars have problems world wide..costly to repair, I m telling from my experience from USA.

visited Nissan showroom to see the car. Built quality is good features were good. I booked the xe variant.

@Mohammed zeeshan Sir, Seltos is a Kia brand car which is owned by Hyundai so it has to be a hit, but till Nissan has never ever been able to deliver a reliable product for our Indian markets and low pricing cars always does not mean that it has to be the best one.
Let's just wait and watch how does Magnite perform in Indian roads as it is just a fresh product and due to it's pricing and features it's creating a buzz.

Sir, I’m also facing a similar issue now with Nissan Magnite Turbo XV Premium, where I drove only 600km and the Engine breakdown happened. After two days they diagnosed the ECM of the car failed.

Wrong Name on warranty card is fraud by dealer, company must sack the dealer.
I feel this is a rare case and this can be a manufacturing defect of this piece particularly. That doesn't mean all the 50k people who booked Magnite is going to get a car with seized engine... LOL.

Yes. If car works smoothly then people don't make video. But almost everyone with even minor problem will make video and upload to youtube. That said, companies must take responsibility and replace such defective parts free of cost at the soonest

Just for some additional features at low cost don't go for these companies in India..... safe bet Maruti and Hyundai. They may not make safest cars in India but their vehicles engine won't seize within a month. Engine is the heart of your vehicle.
Absolutely, and mahindra, Tata and Toyota Innova, cars also comes with best engine. But personally I like bolero and tuv300
U should aware tht foreign brands doesn't provide features... Thy only give quality... Maruti, tata n mahindra all just copy from foreign brand only... Nothing is thr own r&d

Overall magnite is a complete package. I purchased Turbo CVT XV. it's a very good vehicle in all aspects, Shape, mileage Performance, pickup, leg space, boot space, Music system Airplay.
Had a smooth driving experience in delhi haridwar road nd then to himachal... Pahado ke liye bhi achhi pakad hai magnite ki....

Car is good, but unfortunately this gentleman is laden with a bad piece and the Nissan team needs to manage this situation properly.
Understand the challenge/reluctance. If you give one person a replacement car, many others will demand it.
So management has to take a call.
The dealership without management understanding cannot replace a car.
Don't think Nissan will run from the responsibility either. They will settle it.
They just need to get a good SOP together to manage such situations.
May be happened due to some technical reason & company ready to replace engine but this guys wants new vehicle this is not justified. Is there any companies are giving new car for any kind of major fault? Go for legal action.

Assuming it’s test drive vehicle is wrong by the host. VIN number check karo, if it’s a month previous to delivery then it’s okay as test drive vehicle would be manufactured much longer back.
On Nissan’s part to replace with a new engine and other parts is acceptable with some freebies and extended warranty, but the dealership errors has to corrected by the dealer.
Warranty policy of all cars states replacement of part not car and even Toyota or Hyundai could face problems with a brand new cars. It’s a machine so there will be odd ones, so take the extended warranty and freebies and move on to enjoy your car and don’t waste time banging head with the useless dealer.

Meri Magnite XE model ka within 370 km Clutch plate burn ho gaya. They asked me first 16000 cost. But when I denied than they are ready to do it free of cost. My question it's normal issue or might be any engine Related issue.
Appologies for the late reply, burning cluch plate is not an normal issue, kindly get it checked and escalate if required. Engine fault cannot be ruled out
