the Pluto only generates and responds to pulse waves, aka squarewave LFOs. You'd have to be careful to only send squarewaves in the right voltage range from a semi modular synth to the Pluto. I'm not sure, but I don't think you should randomly patch high-voltage signals from eurorack modular into the Pluto ... I don't know if the inputs have over-voltage protection, it might not turn out well.
Absolutely!! I think those devices are meant to go together. Pluto can generate notes for 0-Coast and West Pest. Then you can tweak and sound design from there!
Unfortunately Modern Sounds replaced the CV out with a MIDI out a while back.
They replaced it with a midi out. I don’t know why. It already has midi out over usb. It already had midi in and out over trs.
just got mine, having fun so far, but a shame they removed the cv port :(
Yeah I was confused. Got mine out again, and I guess they replaced it with a midi out instead and removed the in/out switches
do you ever cross patch with any other semi modular stuff? curious about getting one to use with west pest and 0 coast
