Rectify it and put it in series with any coil, be it the winding inside a motor or a transformer. It will remove the initial bang and stop it from immediately welding shut, but then, once the ark has formed, increase the current to full power.
Through this, it is possible to draw an ark about 1cm with just 65V!
It is VERY fun

@@mineown1861 burnt out motors are no where near as bad as some of the capacitors I’ve popped. But yes the window was open with a fan blowing outside to suck the smell out
