I bought a android 10 head unit for my 2017 Nissan rouge I hooked all the wiring which they just clip on but I can't get my back up camara to light up when I shift to reverse and when looking the wiring over it looks like I'm missing an adapter

Informative video man. If I, for example, have a short 5 minute drive... it's not worth the effort to sit and turn on the wifi hotspot on my phone and wait for it to connect. In this case, can I still use bluetooth to play music? Also, does bluetooth automatically connect everytime I get in and start the car? Or do I manually have to connect it every time the unit is powered on and off?

It has two identical connectors labeled Nissan Medium Plug and Nissan Low Plug. Did your unit have this, and which plug did you use? My car has the small colour LCD (with factory rear camera), and like your car has the standard AC controls. Thanks!
Mitchell Oke hey I know what you are taking about, I think one of them goes to the climate control so you can control it with the unit, unfortunately that only works with cars that have auto climate control. Anyways, I don't remember exactly but just plug it in and start just turn on the electrical, if it doesn't work switch .
sludged08 thanks for such a quick reply! Yeah that was my impression too, it seems so silly that the AC controls have an identical connector as the radio unit. The googling I’ve done and videos I’ve watched suggest I may not need this cable connected at all, but i suspect my factory camera won’t work without it. I’ve been in touch with the seller of my unit and I’ll see what that say before proceeding. Thanks for your advice!
So just an update on this. I took a better look at the factory wiring loom for the headunit and the wires better matched the Nissan Medium Plug on the harness that came with my unit. Connected the harness to the loom and it worked perfectly. This plug is also responsible for my factory rear camera, which is working great with the new unit.

Hey man sorry for the late reply I have the same issue. You need to go into your settings. I think it's advanced settings the password is123456 and switch the car model to tena2013

I just use Waze app app most of the time but you can run Spotify in the background like you would on your phone. I only tend to use the stock Navi if I am somewhere with spotty network
Hey it's a bit of a mess for sure, you want to make sure you have the t32 as that's the designation for the rogue for rest of the world. You have to be careful about the rogue sport/quashqai. But when I bought mine they had me take pictures of my dash to make sure they send the right one

Which stereo did you replace, and did it jus plug into the existing harnesses without any fuss? I am having trouble with my premium deck and want. To replace it... But I want to keep the existing speakers/amp/sub... Is that what you did?
Hey man, I had the base stereo in mine, when you pick them out they'll ask you what stereo your car has and what if you have auto or manual climate system and give you the proper harness for plug and play

Hey , for sure it's not as responsive as some of the current stuff on the market. But honestly I'd do it all over again. Once it's turn for another car I don't think I'd opt for a Navi package , with Google maps and waze this has saved me so much hassle

It has 360 input, mine doesn't have a 360 camera, also I don't think any north american rogues come with a self parking system.
