Thank you! Asphalt cleaning jobs are nice but it sure does a number on our equipment. Most of it is covered in a thin layer of tar after a few days of blasting.

@@BlackwellsDryIceBlasting Yup, we use plastic to cover our equipment. And buy reels of plastic sleeve for the hoses. Clean up and replace much easier.

@@rawrestorationblastingllc3749 Very smart. Maintaining equipment has to be considered when pricing jobs. Tips like that can really improve job profits.

I would like to ask, what type is the machine which was used to this job?

We use the Cold Jet Aero80. Its a durable machine that can handle as much pressure as your compressor can give it. We use Doosan 400 VHP Compressors so we usually have 2 machines blasting at once on jobs like this.
      Thank you for the comment!

Its not that bad. We're able to clean a lot of equipment in a 12 hour shift.
Our big advantages are that we don't have a stream of black water running away from our work area, and the ice is delicate enough not to destroy the thin insulation wrap on these pipes.
Its definitely a niche. Somewhere between water blasting and sand blasting.
