The biggest plot twist to me is when Klein heard Mr Goat(Door) raving transform from "Save me! Save me!..." to "Don't save me! Don't save me!". *Goat Bethel Abraham*
i think when klien as merlin goes to secure arrodes he meets roselles child like chilling there that was pretty suprising and how he let him take the mirror away
Excluding the once already mentioned in the video some of my favourite are Mr door not wanting to be saved, roselle being alive, George the third's true plane, amon jump scareing klein in the end of volume 5,the cocoons at the sefraia castle,the reveal of the Western continent and the celestial worthy, the outer deity's existence and the grand feast of betrayal. and that's just book 1 the amount of mind blowing plot in coi is so many I can't even mention them

For me I love how realistically lotm shows kleins despair like in a normal isekai the mc would've been fine if they could never go back home since they have the friends that they made in the new world. But klein has been doing all of everything so that he could go home but when he realizes that he can't he doesn't really accept it like it's nothing but is actually depressed
Lotm is unrealistic cuz if I knew I could never go home after trying everything so hard I would lose control right on the spot 🙏🙏 (my boy deserved sm better)
I already had predicted that lilith is probably mother Earth the Moment Emilyn learned that he was not forced to believe in mother Earth in Volume 2. believes are very very strong in lotm so I had a feeling that lilith was probably mother Earth. Its maybe not a plottwist but I was scared shitless at the end of volume 2 because of sealed artifact 0-17
I predicted 1st plot on something about around 200 chapter, becouse i see this plot 4 times already in other fantasy: adventure time, lord of the frozen garden and im qutting heroing, kamikatsu
