Watching from down the road in Punta Prima. Cabo Roig and La Zenia beaches were much the same with a few brave souls in the water. I was in Torre yesterday and they are never going to allow the fairground back to the front. The plan for the 19 luxury tower blocks suggests that the town wants to move up market, the developers know it when you see the reforms of the housing blocks. Further down the coast at Punta Prima it's the same, front line apartments well out reach of the locals at 400K euros plus and the new roads have just been tarmacked behind the dog beach north of Cala Mosca and the N332 for further apartments. It reminds me of the gentrification of Leith circa 2000 when I lived there.
