I’m so confused, why is Allosaurus in the Late Cretaceous? Specifically in Mexico since that’s where the Chicxulub meteor landed going off from the scene here. I know I’m being nerdy, but it’s just that gripe in me when movies do stuff like this. We’re in 2024 for goodness sake! This should be common knowledge.
@ Mostly because Tyrannosaurus Rex literally took over every predatory niche in Hell Creek. Every life stage of the animal took over a specific niche until they grew into the 10 ton behemoths as adults. The only other theropods who were there were Dakotaraptor (which is dubious) and Anzu, which wasn’t very big in the first place. T.Rex had first pickings.
@@vlamar99because carnosaurs like allosaurus had already gone extinct. If it was a small tyrannosaur, then sure. But it’s an allosaurus which doesn’t make sense
It also seems to imply that the ice age happened immediately after the K-Pg impact, as if the intervening 66 million years of the Cenozoic just... didn't happen. Like, to put it in perspective, if you crunched down time so that one year = one second, the ice age lasted less than 29 hours and ended a little over 3 hours ago, while the dinosaurs have been extinct for the last 2 years. Allosaurus in particular would already be dead and gone 2.5 years before that. Hollywood has no grasp or appreciation of deep time.
A Pride of Allosauruses and the Saurophaganax are running for their lives and they found a cave to take cover to save theirselves from the Astroid in the Extinction of The Mesozoic!
@AdhiniZuluIt’s not, the sauropod study has fallen under heavy criticism. Always wait a little while for these things because the new studies always make big waves and then turn out to be false.
? it doesnt have a continuous time travel but even then it still wouldnt be accurate because allosauruses were already extinct and based on the meteor's location that means they should be in chicxulub where they didnt live
Everyone's talking about the anachronistic Allosaurus but I don't see anyone mention the we went directly from the K-Pg extinction to the ice age. How much stuff could have happened in 60+ million years anyway?
Where does this movie take place? Here. What here? Right here? Yes here. When does it take place? in prehistoric times? Yes. And No. Here takes place in all times. So it's a time travel movie? Here to the Future?
Allosaurus in Late Cretaceous got me rolling 😂
Right! Allosaurus had lived during the Jurassic Period, not Cretaceous. The asteroid is said to have hit planet Earth during the Cretaceous.
LOL

I'm proud to see all the comments about the inaccuracy of Allosaurus in Late Cretaceous Mexico. You guys are true paleontology fans !!
Allosaurus has never seen such movie before
Yeah But There’s A Other Allosaurs In The Different Movies And Series Too.
I DONT UNDERSTAND THAT IS THAT ALLO TIME TRAVELLING OR IS ITS JUST A STRAIGHT CUT TO 66 MYA
@@sstelecomkorwa3501ig it time traveled
Allosaurus was in Jurassc World: Fallen Kingdom, Dominion, and Land Before Time 6. Least those are facts as examples.
Anyone seeing this film in theatres must have thought that they'd wandered into the wrong screening for a minute.
I mean, it was in the trailer
Perhaos
Yeah all 3 people who saw this movie in theaters
Never know. There ciuld be a late surviving allosaur.🤷♂️
Allosaurus had never seen such weirdness before

Not everyone is a dinosaur fan like we are… seeing the cgi excited me for a moment but watching the whole thing hurt the little kid in me
And who confirmed that it was an allosaurus ? What if it’s a unknown/undiscovered fantasy theropod from the Cretaceous

Allosaurus has never seen such innacuracy before
Allosaurus lived and went extinct millions of years before the asteroid hit…
Allosaurus has never seen such *BS* before.
Props to the cameraman for waiting so long
2:43 I don’t know why but I always love this scene.
It gives me vibes of old Dino themed movies
I've read the book this movie was based on & I feel this scene in particular was a good adaptation of it.
I don't feel like it adds anything other than spectacle
There's a book?
What's this movie about?
And no one will ever know the history of the stone that house was made of.
Yay, allosaurus
Allosaurus was long extinct by the time of the KT extinction.
In fact
There is more time between T.rex and Allosaurus than between us and T.rex
This scene is rather sad. From nature to it being ruined and removed by humans.
Yes...
This is probably the best evolution change in movie history
Nah, Allosaurus went extinct millions of years before the asteroid
wdym by evolution change?
I feel sorry for the unhatched egg.
Bro got spawnkilled
Egg really got scrambled
He was gunna die anyways
It was the kindest thing, instead of being broiled to death
Loved how the egg started hatching and immediately got obliterated
Are those allosaurus
I didn’t know allosaurus is in the movie!!!!
they shouldn't be, they're supposed to already be extinct at that point in time :/
but heh it's just a movie
The Allosaurus had never seen such wonderfull design before. The Allosaurus looks like a Walking With Dinosaurs design If it was in 2024
Which sucks using it nowadays, because its outdated
A Pride of Allosauruses and the Saurophaganax are running for their lives and they found a cave to take cover to save theirselves from the Astroid in the Extinction of The Mesozoic!

Saurophaganax is invalid

Reminds me of the asteroid scene from Disney's Dinosaur
That's huge work guys!
Now they traveled to the Cenozoic Era AKA The Ice Age!
Not just the ice age kid
Buddy, we’re living in the Cenozoic era
@BassFish111comment never said we werent bud
So the house is in Chixculub?
apparently
No here is young chilantaisaurus 0:10
Sounds about right
still didnt live when the meteor hit tho
It is a nice movie.
Third is the top bird
Can we assume from this that the house is roughly 50-150 miles from where the meteor hit?
What is Allosaurus doing in the Cretaceous?
What this prequel to Jurassic park 😏😅
Woooow
All praise to Allah the almighty
Movieclips can you upload Postman Pat: The Movie (2014) clips? please!

Unrealistic, the dinosaurs would've been the majority of the movie and the humans would have a 10 second clip
? it doesnt have a continuous time travel but even then it still wouldnt be accurate because allosauruses were already extinct and based on the meteor's location that means they should be in chicxulub where they didnt live
Good bye dinosaurs😢
Wow….
So dinosaurs actually died 145 Million years ago?

Lmao fr 💀

Weird concept
But i like the idea of a time traveling Allosaurus

it was gonna die anyway

no, they didnt live together and allosaurus was already extinct by then
