- Morning drive through downtown Chicago along Lake Shore Boulevard and Michigan Avenue before heading to Chicago's main airport O'Hare International Airport (ORD). Almost missed my flight because I wanted to see this spectacular skyline one more time before leaving. 10/10 would recommend.

That’s a sad dream. You should be dreaming of Moscow instead, it’s not as trash as the Midwest US. The whole Midwest is an industrial wasteland of cold winters and ignorant people.
This is the perfect day and time to go to this airport because the highway he just traveled is always jammed pack, all the way from downtown, great video.
Took me about 1h20m to get from ORD to downtown along this same route when I flew in on a recent weekday night...you're right about that!

Right. There's no more rush hour it seems. It more like Calm Hour/Luck Hour or Rush Hour timeout. Traffic strarts building around 7am and hits its peak around 8am, still is bad until 9am, then starts dieing off. 11am is calm then 12pm and 1pm it backs up again. 2pm is calm hour then at 3pm it starts getting bad again and peaks around 5pm stays bad till around 7 or 8pm then starts dieing off. Years ago after 7pm you were free. Now that's not the case anymore. Then you have rush hour overtime on inbound i90 Kennedy Expressway near Downtown and Inbound Dan Ryan near the circle interchange. Those can stay bad until 11pm sometimes even 12am. Especially on inbound i90 on weekends near downtown. Saturday traffic is similar but morning rush starts maybe half an hour to an hour later. On Sundays there's typically no morning rush. The morning rush starts even later than Saturday's so around 12pm 1pm the traffic gets gridlocked again and then you have afternoon and late night. I speak from experience. Lifelong Chicagoan and i just came back from i90 Kennedy Expressway. Inbound was a parking lot at 10pm near downtown. Very common nowadays

I love this version. Especially since it's not much tourist traffic due to the winter and you started it off on the interstate... beautiful interstate footage. Graduated Great Lakes and never got to see downtown...one day I will.
Lake Shore Drive isn’t really the interstate though. 🤨

I want to move to the U.S. and have been considering NYC as an option for a very long time. Suddenly, I thought of Chicago for some reason and wanted to see what it looks like. It almost feels like NYC, but with less people, more organized and way cleaner. I might start considering Chicago as my first option now...

One of the best cities for driving. The only one with a commuter train going down the middle of two different expressways. Lake Shore drive speaks for itself. I was hoping the driver was going to go underneath the old main post office to get on the Eisenhower, did that a lot as a kid. It was a unique way to leave the downtown area and hop on the expressway.

I'm coming to Chicago on Dec 11 and these videos have been super helpful to watch. I live in Green bay and we don't have much traffic and it's pretty simple driving around the state. Chicago looks intimidating compared to Green Bay. Hopefully, I won't be doing much driving once I get here, Coming for a show in Naperville then heading back the next day. There is a parking lot for the show which is nice and the hotel has parking awesome! I'll use buses and Metro as much as possible!

Crime is all centered to South Side where 70% of people sole salary is from government welfare. The rest of the city is pretty safe. Its just in that section the average person is only making $22,000 a year (unemployment payments in the US)
