Kronii’s voice isn’t just unforgettable, it’s *Timeless!*
Inaff
Not just *Timeless* , But *Perfect*
Shut. Uuuuup. 💀
*badum tss*
2:12 Kronmei is real!
Kronii
When she started : "The personification of perfection"
Now: "This 5 day old Tuna sandwich is not bad"
Still perfectly fine
@@sufianramli but not perfectly perfect
@@ninjahedgehog5 Only the perfect stomach can witshstand such harsh conditions.
They really extracted all her wisdom via the tooth
What do you mean? She's still Perfection itself!
Kronii: "If I'm being completely honest I just like watching"
Mumei somewhere: *Sneezes*
It’s you
Kronii's accent is about the closest I've heard to a Silicon Valley accent I've heard from someone who didn't grow up there. Her pronounciations are precise, impeccable, exactly as the letters dictate. She sounds... normal to me.
As someone who grew up learning English very young (despite it not being my native language), I - along with my friends - have a tendency to emphasize the correct pronunciation. It’s just a habit that stuck.
She speaks like the average Canadian.
As someone born & raised in SF. I honestly don’t know what a California/Silicon Valley accent are. Kronii sounds fine to me. People always say there’s a California accent. I just thought they were talking about “valley girl” accent.
Kronii is a billion percent Canadian. Most Canadians sound like most Americans most of the time... Except words like borrow. And especially sorry.
Kronii saying bore-row and sore-ry instead of bah-row and sah-ry stands out very much from American accents. It's super Canadian. They blend in... until they don't lol.
Also there's not really such a thing as a silicon valley accent. They speak standard American. There's some differences with word choice (tennis shoe vs sneaker, etc), but no real standout accent from most of America. They don't even do that weird LA thing where they put "the" in front of highway numbers.
@@TheBongReyes valley girl refers to San Fernando Valley (aka LA) not Silicon Valley. The valley girl and skater bro accents are from LA not SF.
And Kronii does not have a valley girl accent at all.
i love when she argues with regional pronunciations
First time I've ever heard her say borrow and I see what chat was talking about.
@@NicoDoesLP the ignoring the T in words like “Costco” is sometimes an Ontario, Canada thing, like why people will say the correct pronunciation of Toronto is closer to “turonno” than “toe-Ron-toe”
Kronii has one of the most perfect voices in hololive en
Kronii has one of the most perfect voices, period.
idk I think Axel can get pretty close.
Her sultry voice is perfect 👌
True! When she debuted, my first impression is "whoa! Finally they got this kind of voice in Hololive"
Luna and miko have the most perfect voice because I can't understand what they say most of the time .hahhaha
I like clips like this. Just... Kronii talking. Telling us about herself. It's really chill.
bing chilling
@@ahmadsalman5121 Biiiiiing chilliiiiiiing
She just has to realise chat isn't real the time explosion wasn't her fault
Sooo... Basically every Kronii talking streams.
kronii does indeed have a lovely mature voice.
what drew me into kronii during council's announcement was her character design. what made me stay was her voice
kronii: perfect general american accent with newscaster non-regional diction
also kronii: b o r e - o h
Ah, yes, the Kroniifornian accent.
Kronii just so perfect, nothing else
Kronii being a Tsundere and a kuudere is kind of a blessing
Kronii admitting she is Tsundere is nice
Kronii sounds like a classmate I fancied. 😳
Crazy how Mumei just appeared out of nowhere and repeated what Kronii just said.
I wonder if she saw Ophie's (Ophelia Midnight) Kronii voice acting learning stream. It was great, and she also imitates other Holomems like Korone extremely well.
That edit at the end 💀
Kronii voice sparks joy in my heart...I enjoy having Kronii around
Idk why, but I've had so many people say I have a strong "Canadian" accent and still have no idea what that means
It means raised vowels and a default enunciation focus, typically.
It means North American consonants and Gælic vowels.
if i hear kronii's voice in the public i think i can recognize it in few seconds
Quick some get Kronii a list of Californian phrase to see if she’s secretly Californian-Canadian
More like Vancouver British Columbia.
I'll start:
"The most smooth"
"Vertical hunger"
"Let's drop in on a grommet"
And my personal favourite:
"Swood"
Her voice is unforgettable, and also her laughs. Very unique.
*Cough* Sorry, *perfect*
"Kronii's voice is like having gravy poured in your ears."
- Gawr Gura, maybe, I can't remember exactly
They're catching onto the Canadian plot to pod-people California!
Appreciation supa for Kronii’s unforgettable voice o7
0:28 "It's not like i wanted to show you this side of mine, baka..." - Kronii, probably
I once discribed Kronii's attempts at Japanese as Valley Girl.
My take today? She's a canuck with Valley Girl tics and mannerisms.
Due to the cold climate, Canadians drop their jaw when speaking much less than Americans do. This causes the particular pronunciation we have.
In terms of accents I'd say there's at least 6 broad categories: pacific, prairie, northern and southern Ontarian, Quebec, and Atlantic.
I am certain Vesper's accent is southern Ontario.
lol southern ontario. When I think that I only think toronto. Can't say I'll attest to this weirdo theory though.
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom A vtuber named Ophelia Midnight did a study stream on Kronii’s voice. That’s where I picked up the cold climate thing.
Just comparing “boh-row” and “bah-row” shows it in action.
Her voice is beautifull
"Aboot" is the new "A mug"
I never know a proper formal caster accent was a Cali accent 🗿
Like y'know...
Right? I've known plenty of Californians who sound more Midwestern. I feel calling it "Cali" is way too broad, as there are so many accents in SoCal alone 🤓
That's more of a valley accent. Cali accents are supposed to be more neutral. The "no accent" you hear on TV and movies.
I need to reread this comment because the first read made me think about a different Calli
Some accents do be confusing...
@@lunos8776 every way of speaking is an accent lmao. Bring your typical American TV way of speaking to Asia and they'll tell you that you have an accent.
Kronii is neither kuudere nor tsundere. She's perfectdere.
That impression of Mumei tho hahaha
She's a perfectly perfect tsundere
Tsundere, Kuudere, it doesn’t matter which dere, Mumei will love it all the same.
So, Kronii is British Colombian? That sounds right, as Vancouver people on RUclips do sound very close to Californian, well, except JJ.
it's impossible to forget about her voice, once you hear it you can't un-hear it (?
Chat: Hey, are you a Kudere or Tsuderee?
Kronii: I'M THE JOKER!
New lore achieved: the reason why mumei forgets stuff is caused by kroniis voice. Also this lore is only intended for the fan-fiction in minecraft only.

"You say borrow like a canadian'
i wonder why.
Kronii and Marine playing Touhou Project
A voice even Mumei can't forgor kon
I knew from her first "about".
I knew from her first KD.
Kuudere? nah she's a cute cinnamon roll.
Kronii's is so smooth I would use it to test new audiophile setups.
The cross-product of Canada and California is BC, so she must be from Vancouver.
As a southerner she definitely has a noticable west coast accent lol
0:25 That's what a tsundere would say.
Ah yes. Borrows, Kronii's pet snake.
Kronni laughs like the Fairy in Ocarina of Time
"Secret" Canadian.
Kronmei fans, this one was for y'all. [And yes, I'm in the crowd too.] Lol.
I wonder if Kronii knew she was referencing Mumei or not... 🤔
Reminds me of "Sorry" vs "Sarry"
How do you know if I don't show you my true feelings..? The tsundere dilemma...
Do a barrow roll!
I joined the Kronmei fans for a second there...
Bah-row gang, rise up. We will not let Kronii slander and disregard us like this.
You know how they pronounce Bah-row in Alaska?
"Utqiagviq"
Anyone who regularly watches Kronii of their own free will likes being slandered and disregarded, quit playing
My mother (who is from Alabama) says borrow in a strange way aswell. Sounds like "bar-ee". I don't know where she got it from though as I can't think of anyone else back home that says it that way.
It's the a in "that" that's most distinctive in her accent, I think. I have never heard anyone pronounce "that" as a three syllable word before
I have noticed this as well. Her long a's have a specific emphasis, as though they are all accompanied with a y.
That = thayt
Bat = bayt
Nap = nayp
You'll notice it next time you hear it
kroooooooooni...
I pronounce it buh-row myself.
She's hella Canadian
Before finding out she was Canadian I was thinking west coast, probably SF.
As a Canadian her voice sounds normal. You americans love the "a" sound
What we _really_ love is the half-closed vowel known as a schwa (written in IPA as /ə/). It makes an "uh" sound that's less-stressed than your average flat/short "a."
I think this is what you were trying to say, but the terminology was imprecise. I nonetheless forgive you, seeing as how you're Canadian. 😉
@@E4439Qv5 People from Ajax and Pickering definitely do not like the schwa.
Kronii is a human cat.
I wonder if she says both as bowl-th?
How does she say the following:
Rather
Water bottle
Worcestershire
Star Anise
And other various words with regional differences? I know I have some oddities for my region because I watched a lot of British television growing up and picked up some weird habits from my French classes in high school from my Canadian teacher
Love our kuudere time canadian
a true kronadian
Kronii's right - it's boh-row... because there's a fucking "o" in it
Weird, I don't even hear the strong accented vowels I noticed in the old English Sailor Moon dub from her.
Trevor Phillips will relate a lot to her
First Kuudere and then Tsundere is exactly with Kronii.
"I don't sound Canadian, fwend!"
"I'm not your fwend, buddy!"
"I'm not your buddy, fwend"
The giveaway is how the top of her head flaps.
am I the only one who tought of the "Californian Girl" dance meme because of the thumbnail?
I mean...she made a kuudere dialogue in the past 🤫🤭
The "So-Cal" parody accent is pronouncing every syllable in each word... So I guess her accent is similar.
I can't imagine a tsundere or kuudere flirting on you, Kronii in particular is just built different
In Kentucky they pronounced it Boor Eee
Yep. She's actually from Ontario, California rather than Ontario, Canada.
So she's a CALIFORNIA GIRL, But her Voice is UNFORGETTABLE?
Similar to borrow, "project" is another Canadian accent test word. They say PROject. Americans say prahject.
Turns out I've been saying Bo-rrow instead of bah-rrow
2:11
People call her a kuudere or a tsundere, but if she's really honest...
She just likes _watching._
Yandere best dere
Persona5-Kawakami accent
Without the subs i would never Catch that "y" when she's say "what".
_Flower_
Am I the only one who questions if they've been pronouncing words wrong after listening to Kronii say them?
Kuudere is more like a numb person, almost emotionless
She says 'what' as whaiyt lol
"and then they would tell me the meaning of kuudere and I would be like"cool!" "
Good pun
Hard to tell whether shes Tsundere or Kuudere. Definitely weird how accents make some words sound different. And yes...a certain Phantom (Ophelia Midnight) is trying to mimic, Kronii, BAE, and even Calli in voice impressions.
She sounds french Canadian to me.
Kronii is an honorary Californian now thats the rules
Tsundere Vs Kuudere
I’m Canadian, Ontarian and I’ve never heard anyone say “boar-row”. Always heard it “Baw-row”.
kronii being like whaaaat at “bah row” and not at how she and other americans pronounce “thought” like “thaht” lmao
she went "whaayt" as in subtitles, not sure if it's canadian or kronian but it's pretty distinctive, can't remember hearing anyone else say it like that
lol sure
Oh good, now I don't feel so bad for being told I sound like I'm from California... despite having NEVER SET FOOT IN THE GODDAMN STATE!
Huh, I'd thought that the SoCal accent had only invaded most of the US. Sad news to hear it's wormed its way into Canada too.
