You're going to love 6mm Max. It handles great from a recoil standpoint and has the perfect amount of power increase. A 105 gr bullet moving at 2600 fps from an 18" barrel is potent.
Looks like they did good on the feedback from the first match back in December. Bummed I couldn't make it to this one but Yuma puts on a good match! Can't wait to hit the next one.
I've probably said it before, but I really dig the 1 rifle concept. Using what best suits your needs overall vs. strictly building a gamer rifle. Appreciate the content Jimmy!
It's a mix of props, bag, and shooter. Some props have a little more spring to them. Some bags dont cradle the gun as well. The best shooters are able to get .1 mil of wobble or less.
I have seen a significant increase in turnouts at our gas gun matches and I'm sure some of that has to do with your channel. I'm stoked because I really love this format of shooting competition and I'm happy to see it growing. Thank you.

@@jimmybrodriguez No doubt. That's a much better attitude to have but I've been there. I literally could hear my hits and still couldn't get a call. Sometimes it's just too egregious. I get that we're all human, but maybe they should start using hit indicators on the steel?
Whenever I watch these videos of you shooting, I would end up practicing spotting. I would ask myself, how would I call out the shots to Jimmy if I were there? Thanks for the training! P.S. Is that the actual clarity you get on the glass? Or is that the trigger cam's doing?
Depening on what AAC ammo you're looking for PSA sells there ammo and usually has it in stock. I get Sierra Match .77gr pretty regularly and they're usually in stock
The sport definitely needs a bigger presence on the west coast. I was waiting to get paid to sign up for a match in April and when i just checked the practicscore page i saw that's it's filled up already. That's the only gas gun match i could find in Northern California this year.
@jimmybrodriguez I was misinformed about how the matches work by my local club. I didn't realize every prs match had a gas gun division. I had only been looking for "gas gun" matches on practicscore. I really want to thank you for all the great content. You've been instrumental in inspiring me to get out and compete. I signed up for my first match on March 17th and I'm pretty excited about it.
The only problem with this match is that it is always the same day as Accurized at cowtown, and that's a conflict I and many others cannot reconcile. Would be nice if they changed that.
Sorry to hear about the conflicts. Unfortunately the third Saturdays of the month is only option. The ranges here all have long standing schedules that cannot be altered.
Hey you brought up some great points in this video. Live in the mountains of Colorado and we have access to some great ranges but no matches in our area like these. I did try reaching out to Quantified Performance and asking how to set our own matches up but no response. I did also try and DM you but but no response as well. No biggie on that my account is new with no post so I am sure it looks like a bot account. I am just trying to talk with someone and get advice on how a group would go about trying to set there own local match. You are right they is not as much this west as one would think. I shoot the AAC 75gr out of my rifles and I get .6 to .8 MOA routinely out of my 16” and 18” SPRs. That doesn’t mean they work great in every rifle but all of mine shoot that round well.

Coincidentally, the week after I bought my AAC 77g they put it on sale for 55 cents a round lol so idk it could be a bad lot for sure.
Aye Jimmy, so I have not done a competition but from watching the cam footage just from shooting as much as I have I remember doing the same thing and that is the JERKY movement when shooting. If you glide a little bit more it will help keep your sight picture a bit more clearer. Idk 🤷♂️ just throwing out a suggestion that helped me and maybe it could help you too… good shit though hope to see some matches out here in Vegas and meet you and get to shoot against you.

I sadly had terrible groups with the AAC 77 grain bullets, getting 1.5-2 inch groups at 100
