There is rarely ever a show that transcends a generation like this one has. There is rarely a show that changes the lives of so many people such that this show did. This show and this cast spoke to so many people and speaks to who we all are. Glee gave us something to believe in and helped us believe in ourselves. Thank you Glee, for changing my life.
I try. And I'll be honest, when Glee first started, High School Musical was finishing and I had done HSM when I was in school, so I was really burnt out on shows about singing high schoolers. However, I decided to watch Glee just to see if it was going to be different....if it was going to be real, and wouldn't you know it, it was.
this show gave me a place where I felt like I belong for the first time in my life. a place I could always go and know, that I’ll come out happier because of it. no matter how sad I felt, Glee always brought joy to me. watching this show changed everything for me. I would’ve never thought it’s possible to care for a tv show so deeply that I do care about Glee. it’s crazy how sometimes in life we make decisions and have absolutely no idea of how much it will change us for the better. “I know it’s cheesy, but it’s true.” (yep, this is a quote from Naya’s book)
Man, i was just thinking about that next year glee might finish. 2015 will be an unhappy year but we as fans we'll have life changing memories and moments that will just make us squirm with happiness. Man, i frickin' love glee.
Well whoever said the thing about hating eachother as the seasons went on was right. Season 5 and 6 weren't good for the cast in my opinion. I still think they all are about eachother ESP lea and naya and I hope whatever beef they have they let it go.
