Good stuff! I’ve been a Cold Steel fan for years as well. The Recon 1 was my first knife when I started in the fire service back in 2005 or so. Just picked up the 6” Ti lite with kris blade and a recon tanto fixed blade.
@chucknunface Ooh...yes...a lot more pocket friendly. And MidwayUSA has them for $115 at present. I look forward to seeing on your channel and/or IG soon 😉. 🤙
I modded mine. It is an awesome Mega. I absolutely luv mine! :-) Though, I would like to see a lighter weight Atlas-Lock Mega Folder... Perhaps an Atlas-Lock Ti-Lite VI... Enjoy that Mayhem, they absolutely "ROCK!!!" :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Fun knife, a fixed blade alternative as the lock handles well over 1000lbs. Yes, I will buy one, likely live in my back pack and sit on my desk as a fidget toy that makes you be careful or else!
This is the knife that forced Vosteed to change the name of what was previously known as the Mayhem to the Rskaos (or whatever the heck it's called now). China gonna China. That thing is insane. Was this the other 'mystery brand' you were hyping up? 😆 This knife looks like it was made by Acme from a Looney Tunes cartoon! So bonkers. Gotta love it.
@@chucknunface shoot, didn't even think of brands with mostly Taiwan-OEM knives! I don't own any CS knives, I'm not super into their designs, but they certainly have a loyal following out there. 😎

Nice, dude. I've had several but never one of the monsters
And you’re exactly right about the fun factor. When you flip out a big blade it makes you smile.
@@CSven-es3yu you know it
Recon 1 is awesome, arguably their best design. Not that I do not love many other Cold Steel knives.
@@Baruch-Hashem I agree the recon 1 is great. American lawman makes an excellent edc as well
I agree with you - something not necessary but we're glad we have the option to buy it 😊. Thanks Chuck!
The lynn T sig series ti lite has my eye now lol

Thanks, dude! I'd like to see that also. I will be sure to watch that vid of your "modded mayhem!"

Haha yeah that's what mine's been.
Be careful with that tip. They grind out the heat treat in factory.
I haven't experienced that. So you're saying it's likely to bend or deform?
@@chucknunface This guy bent his.

@Salamando3D I like a lot of their stuff, at least in theory.
