I’m curious about made to order as I read that you should let your candles cure for 2+ weeks before lighting them (I think for the fragrance to fill out the candle?). Made to order is a great idea if you’re efficient, have the supplies and customers don’t mind waiting a little longer but yeah, just curious about the cure times.

As a person who used to work in the main bank of a casino watching you count money was hard for me hahaha I've counted hundreds of thousands of dollars and at this point watching anyone count change or cash has me itching to do it for them. Kind of like watching a hunt and poke typer 🤣
😆😆😆 to be honest I haven’t counted physical cash in a long timeee

Lovely video!! Just wanted to know how do you guys divide the work among the two of you now that Chris is working full time with you! I was surprised to know Chris does the candle making now 😄
Chris does all the physical stuff and I do all the computer stuff basically 😅 I also work on my other websites (ericamariemorris.com and my Etsy shop) as well as RUclips, product photography, customer service & answering emails, social media, marketing, etc!
Having his help has been a huuuuuge help! Especially when I have spread myself so thin between all my different business avenues 😅❤️

How many candles do you suggest taking to a vendor event? It’s my first time and my first event isn’t till a couple months but I didn’t know a good starting number to take with me. 😥 thank you for all the videos they have helped me tons!
Every single event is different and some people take waaay more than us but we choose to take 5 candles in each size in each scent!
Love this, question: when you are pulling inventory from the shelves to restock your vendor market inventory are you adjusting the website or do they share the same location? Hope my question makes sense.
We adjust the website stock levels after that! I forgot to mention that! ❤️
I have 2 questions. My first question is how do you attend pop up markets in the summer. I live in Miami and have issues with my candles sweating. Yeah 80 degree weather in the spring is not good for the candles. I’ve been trying to do more events indoors but wondered what your thoughts. My second question is Private Label. What does that mean exactly. Do you make candles for others and put their label on your candles? Please explain.
Okay so for the summer question (and I know this doesn’t help) but we actually avoid markets in the hot summer months because of this! We only really do markets from October-May for that reason.
However we have done markets where our candles start sweating and it’s not really a huge deal, customers don’t really notice too much. But of course it does drive me a little crazy haha.
And yes private label is essentially making a product for someone else’s business (their logo and brand name on the candle)

Dumb beginners question. But what is the difference between Inventora and QuickBooks?
Not dumb at all!
They are very different and keep track of different business things. Quickbooks is a bookeeping software that tracks your business expenses, income and mileage.
Inventora is an inventory management software that tracks your materials, supplies, and finished products.
Both are very important to running a successful business! ❤️
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo So QuickBooks is what Id need especially during tax season so I'm not chasing down receipts and then having a huge glob of receipts and papers to go thru just to file my taxes?
