    Okay, I'm not a "real" motorcycle guy. Confession, I have about 250 miles on my Honda Monkey, all in my neighborhood, except for maybe 30 miles in Blue Ridge Georgia. That's a story in itself. HOWEVER, when I was in my 20's I did have a horse🙂. He was absolutely gorgeous! Though I live in an overpopulated suburb,there is an amazing park with trails near where I lived at the time. So many memories. No GoPro's or cell phones with cameras, so mostly those memories are in my head. But it was an amazing experience. So strong!!! So dangerous!!! But nothing like being in the woods with your horse on a nice trail with nobody around. One thing though, they are alive and need constant attention, and lot's of work. Nice thing about the bike is that when I'm busy, it just waits silently with it's ethanol free gas and battery tender. Anyway, another great Saturday morning spent with internet friends. My wife liked the prairie dogs🙂

      The Monkey is a real motorcycle! Don't apologize and don't explain friend. Ride with pride and I will wave to you and all two wheel warriors because we all belong to the same tribe!
      I believe that all motorcycles are adventure bikes.There is a great series on RUclips of a guy riding his Monkey on the Cabot Trail. It is awesome!
      Check out 506 moto ADV.
      You should also check out the episodes of the Adventure Rider Radio Podcasts on people riding Honda Cubs around the world.
      Or you should ignore me but know that I speak from a place of love.
      Anyhow, you didn't ask for my opinion so I will stop now.
      Ride safe!

    • @2UpAndOverloaded
      @2UpAndOverloaded  Год назад +1

      No, unfortunately we didn't camp there. I wish we had, but our plan for the day was to head all the way through North Dakota, and obviously this detour was putting a big wrench into that plan. Which is fine, we like to be flexible, but we also wanted to get as much ground covered as possible. Camping there would have really beat the campground we ended up finding... Thanks for watching and commenting Canuk Guy!

    The horses are in the process of being pushed out by the NPS...Another under appreciated gem in the US with wild horses is Devils Canyon in Wyoming. The Pryor Mountain horse band is found there often. If you ever come back to ND MT badlands shoot me a message I will give you some gravel roads you can travel and see some even more impressive landscape plus big horn sheep and elk.
