Traumtanzer probably is the strongest ship in the game, it can solo kill 3 Onslaughts in a row, but you gotta know how to load it out. You need 2 large Xhan missile launchers (can't recall the name but they look like a bowling ball), 6 medium Imperium missile launchers (don't remember the name also, but they deal extra hull damage), 2 remnant graviton beams and any type of pd-s. Since this ship has a missile autoforge, one must rely only on missiles. Missiles don't use flux so you'll never overheat unless you're fighting 2 remnant fleets at the same time. Put an officer with an elite in missiles on this ship and it will decimate anything in 2 volleys.
the only thing that comes to mind what you can add is mod that increase stars in sector. if you have so much factions it seems reasonable(i have Adjusted Sector mod but maybe where are others)

I would like to introduce you to the Longship, XLU(blue), Gundam, and UAF mods. they have the most op cargo ships and I think you would have fun with the Longslaught or other silly ships.

But I managed to get it working, just for the game to crash when trying to save (I had around 20~ faction mods which kinda made it hard to travel in hyperspace without going down to 10 fps)

Bro the star war ships are ridiculously op They hve way more slots than other ships whether modded or vanilla n there huge, have tons of ordinance points and are relatively cheap a fleet of victory 2 star destroyers fitted properly cld clap most fleets
agreed BUT... if you use the star wars weapons also it is not that broken as they are made to be fielded in huge numbers. If you mount them on a normal ship you would rly struggle that is why I think the huge numbers

Honestly, i thought so as well ... but I found the gameplay for now quite fun. As they have different shields and insane amount of weapon slots with star wars weapons that are weak, so you can field them many times ... makes it unique. Honestly, for now, I do not find the ship ridiculously OP in combat. The problem with the mod is the ship logistics and the insane overproducing planets
@@Uran92 i meant they just look ugly on the starsector perspective, a lot of small dakka is fun, just look a the pillager (aka the atlas mk2 that made it)

You thought the "Star Destroyer" you found was good? That wasn't even an actual normal "Star Destroyer" just a Victory 1 class. The "Imperial" star destroyer are the famous ones used in the movies
Limit? LIMIT? HA! You've yet to even scratch the SURFACE of what this game's "Limit" is! a mere 28-31 mods(counting support mods obviously)? HA! This baby can fit mods nearly ten times that number without even blinking! Obligatory disclaimer that this is meant as a Joke, it is not meant as insult, nor to express a factually incorrect opinion that "only" 31 mods, or less for those that prefer vanilla, is in any way a less valid way to play. 200-300+ mods is, in fact, a grossly excessive number of mods and by no means is optimal for the game, even if it is still perfectly able to handle it and everything else I can think of throwing at it.
I do must admit, that title is bit more on the "Sounds better if I write it this way style". I know :D but if I get to the higher numbers ... man the game loads slowly :D

also using the autofit and its intended loadout makes it unstoppable aswell

You haven't reached the limit until you have hour long load times and your game has a 1/2 chance of crashing.
True. I think I run about 30 different mods. Game is not crashing but definitely start to lag after running for some time.
