Hey girl. I really enjoy your videos. I'm wondering if you have interview advice or could make a video about the interview. I am thinking about opting in for the Japanese portion but I'm not sure what to expect at all. I've heard the interview is pretty rigorous
@@whitnehhh2 Hey there ✨️ I'm glad my content is helpful! Actually, I had no idea there was a Japanese portion! Good on you for giving it a go 😤 And honestly, I was wayyy too nervous for the interview that was even necessary. I assume it's a different process for each country, but for the South African interviews, all I had to explain was why I'm choosing JET, why I'm choosing Japan, and how I plan to share my culture with the students. Bonus points if you have a plan to share JET in your home country once you're back 😉 I've been hesitant to make a video about the interview because it's sooo different for everyone and I don't think there's a set formula for acing it. But I hope this was at least somewhat helpful and please let me know if you have any other questions! 😇
@@alexccen Thanks for replying. I have heard from a lot of other people in my area that the questions are similar to what you described. It seems like I just need to be confident in myself and my answers :-)
Hey thanks for sharing your experience, I love your videos! Could you share more about how you make the transition to your current job and how you bagged it? I'm also an ALT here
@@lesegomaqubela2721 you're welcome! I'd be happy to talk about that - I'll try to have that video out soon 🤸🏽♀️ I hope you're enjoying your ALT time ✨️
Hi! I've been scrounging RUclips to find current jets, as I'm interested in applying for the program next month, & I have enjoyed watching your experience. I was wondering if you're currently taking requests or if you have a patreon to possibly review my SOP? Totally okay if not, but if you have any additional tips for the application process, I would love to hear about it. Thank you!
@@kelitamae first of all, thank you for watching! I'm glad you're enjoying the content 🤍🤸🏽♀️ I'd be happy to look over your SoP! Obviously I can guarantee anything but I'll give you my best advice 🤭 I don't have patreon yet but you can shoot me an email on alexccloete97@gmail.com 🌱
Hello! For me, yes. The exchange rate to South African Rand is quite favorable right now. I know some American friends who are not too happy right now :( But relatively, in Japan, you can live well off the JET salary!
@@alexccenNice, thanks for the reply! I’m a South African who just started with JET in Miyazaki but I’m curious to see what people do after JET. I’d love to be in the Kanto area someday.
