Brexit means giving and receiving of presents from my relatives in Spain has had to stop because we get charged both ways. Buying goods from there is now not worth it too, which has been terrible for my wife’s business. I was fortunate enough to get Irish citizenship but if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t be in Spain now.
@@youtoospain I am interested in how the following weeks after Brexit effected people both British and Spanish in this case. For us nothing changed, but other people I know had problems. Our friend who lives inland had locals saying "you do not like us now, you voted against us" with days of brexit.

Being in the E.U. was torture for the U.K., that's why the majority voted out, you can still move to Spain and elsewhere in the World (Like you could be before we joined the E.U.), but no need to keep us tied to that ineffective E.U., the ones who crashed the energy market and fund a war in Ukraine, don't mention that will you!?!
The UK has also funded the war in Ukraine and crashed the energy market as well as half destroying the value of the pound. You may still be able to move to Spain but it costs way more and it’s now impossible for some whose retirement dreams have been ruined. To call membership of the EU ‘torture’ is gross. How was it torture for you? Or is this just a phrase you were made to believe by some Etonian politician who was facing having his offshore account investigated and taxed?
How was being a member of the EU torture ? What are you free to do now that we have left the EU ? Brexit was the result of deluded baby boomer gammon believing what a load of posh boys told them.

UK residents can not just move to another country, you have to meet immigration standards. The standards that apply to all third countries .
I am happy that people like you are not part of our Europe.
Both UK and US paying a higher percentage of GDP to support Ukraine. Presumably that is why he doesn’t mention the EU funding them
