Even back in 2007, if these were still on the road, they were often neglected and beat to high hell. This car is a survivor! Hopefully the new owners take real good care of her
That's what happened with the one all my older cousins drove it was in my aunt's family since 92 but over the years became the 1st beater car for a lot of us. I think they finally got rid of it around 2015. crazy to see one in this condition!
Friend of mine had one of these. He beat on it like a drum, it never quit. He gave it to his kid. It had three different colors of body panels. Red, white, black. It was "Beans & Rice.
This is how my 1996 blazer is. 46k miles, no rust, super clean interior. Bought it for $3,300 off a 91 year old retired mechanic who was the original owner 🤘
hell yeah!!! did you have to fix anything in the last 2 years? People talk really bad about cars that have been sitting but im curious about your experience with yours
I found a 74 Year old lady selling her late 96 Year old Mother's 1976 Monte Carlo with 14,000 original miles a couple Years ago. I am thoroughly enjoying the car.
too bad it wasnt the crazier early interior. thos early corsica and barettas had some wild design features, and i belive there was a really early on revision to make it more normal.
That's way too much. I paid 500 for my 90 Cavalier with 58k on it. A small dent on the trunk and paints not as nice. These old chevy cars will start and run everytime they are just very unpleasant to drive
Talk about it being in absolutely, literally cherry condition! Wow! My 79 Chevette started out with the exact same color interior plastic (the seats were also icky plastic and not cloth as in this beautiful old Corsica), but faded in the sunlight to a funky lavender. That thing was a beast but also a rust bucket from Iowa.
My dad had this car he would let me take it all the time with my buddy's when I was 15 no license and cruise around in the summer loved every minute of it!! The stereo used to slam in the car... those factory 6x9s
Ain't nobody gonna pay good $ for admission to THAT museum. The old Chevy hauled us as far as it could for as long as it could. But it wasn't as far as we needed to go
FR...it will need ALL the rubber replaced, hoses, bushings, tires, heck even sensors and all manner of things which rot or go bad over time. only an idiot like Tyler Hoovie would pay nearly $6k for that. 🤣
That car can now go to a classic car show😊 I saw some great examples of 70s and 80s cars so mint you would think someone went back in time and got them.
Oh my word that Corsica looks great. First vehicle i bought myself was a blue ‘89 and it turned into hell in a hand basket within months. The catalytic converter went to poo, paint started peeling, shoulder belt failed and then someone broke into it by popping the door lock. What a beautiful thing….
My neighbor's daughter got an 02 Malibu, it had 50,000 original kilometers, when they got it. It was a Grandma car never driven in the winter, yes I'm in the Rust Snow Belt.
Hahha when my mom worked at Avis in the 80s and 90s we'd take this kind of car out on road trips. Barely memories, but that gauge cluster and wiper/light dials I'll never forget.
My parents used to have the same exact one and drove me to elementary school in it. It was grey with the red interior. I don't remember the red stripes on it tho and i do Remember the taillight had some red tape on it. My dad traded it in when it had some engine noise. I always wondered what happened to it. The red seats were so comfortable. old memories.
Sister had a 2.4l white 1998 Corsica sedan while I had a 97 beretta 3.8l Coupe in turquoise She had 3 major wrecks in hers and every time her insurance would fix it when each time we swore it was totalled! 😂 she even drove it over rocks in a divider after getting rear ended so bad the driver side rear fender overlapped the rear driver door and blew out rear window. The insurance still repaired it! Oil pan/trans pan/ radiator/drive front axle then the rear and body work! The car was 8 years old with 60k miles at the time. Yet my beretta I swiped a guard rail and had a line creased on whole passenger side fender-door-rear panel-tail lamp! No axle damage and progressive totalled it out! Also was 6 years old with 80k miles Way less damage then hers Both happened around same miles and year 2004/2006 They’re both the same car only difference was beretta was a coupe version of Corsica sedan
I had the most beautiful blue/blue one of these. It had the shifter on the column, only Corsica or Beretta I've seen like that. That was my personal favorite car I've owned. I loved it so much, I went a few years after I sold it and got a Beretta. What I didn't know was @ the same time my best friend who lived a couple states away at the time. Had bought a Beretta also we both sold them within a year because they had both been driven too hard. I might try to get this one just for the memory
I had a 93' 2.2 4 cyl. That same color but with grey interior, honestly may be the best car I've ever owned. I'd love to have it right now, it had 275k miles when I traded it in and was still getting close to 30 mpg on the hwy.
There was someone I knew that bought a Chevy Corsica brand new back in 1995 and let's just say he baby that car till the day he died he covered it with a tarp always kept it maintained and detailed it every year he baby that car and 2 months after he died a big old tree limb fell on it and messed up the car and the people that bought his property ended up selling the car to a junkyard sad
yeah, that's a bit steep, especially considering it will need a lot of work...anything made of rubber should be replaced, hoses, lines, seals, bushings, etc....that's a lot of work to do. $3,800 would be a more reasonable price. someone is really price gouging and looking for a sucker like Hoovie.
My friend Dave's Mom had one of those Corsicas when I was in junior high. I don't think that I have seen another one this nice since Dave's Mom bought hers new in 1989.
I had a V6 Chevy Corsica,
It was unbelievable fast.
That is not a joke!!!
The Pontiac 6000 was insanely fast as well.!!!
My friend had one and called it His Porsch-ica!
I just don't believe u 😅😅😅😅 stfu
In the 1980s, an El Camino was fast.
The 2.8 and later 3.1 V6 in the FWD GM cars were quick for their day. However today they would get badly spanked by a Honda Odyssey.
Even back in 2007, if these were still on the road, they were often neglected and beat to high hell. This car is a survivor! Hopefully the new owners take real good care of her

Wow!!! I would love to have this car.
BeIng listed for $6000 means the “right” owner will get it. It won’t end up in a demolition derby at that price!!
Thanks for saving this one! you never ever get so see a Corsica on our German roads :)
When I was in the Navy and stationed at Willow Grove Naval Air Station in 97 our duty car was a 97 Corsica..it was a pretty good car
That interior! Just looking you can tell those seats are as comfortable as a Lazy Boy!!
I'm glad it escaped the *STUPID* Cash4Clunkers program!
Let's have an update video of it selling!
Would this have even been eligible your trade in had to get like 19 mpg or less
This is how my 1996 blazer is. 46k miles, no rust, super clean interior. Bought it for $3,300 off a 91 year old retired mechanic who was the original owner 🤘
Does it have the 4.3 vortec? That IS an awesome deal!
I haven’t seen one of these since high school. The Berettas were awesome cars too
I love the old grandma garage finds, mines been running strong for 2 years after it was parked for 8
hell yeah!!! did you have to fix anything in the last 2 years? People talk really bad about cars that have been sitting but im curious about your experience with yours

It’s $6000 just in case anybody is wondering. I would price it more around $3000
That's way too much. I paid 500 for my 90 Cavalier with 58k on it. A small dent on the trunk and paints not as nice. These old chevy cars will start and run everytime they are just very unpleasant to drive
their listings are OBO
I think $3000 will get it sold
Where do you fine where they list the cars for sale. I have a hard time finding it even when I look on ebay.
@@luckydog2000 I just type in the year, make, n model. rare/weird enough cars that it's easy to find.

It must be preserved. Future generations must learn from our mistakes
What mistake, those are good little cars 🙄
My dad had this car he would let me take it all the time with my buddy's when I was 15 no license and cruise around in the summer loved every minute of it!! The stereo used to slam in the car... those factory 6x9s
I discovered that thump in a cavalier in auto mechanics school in 92. Everyone else thought it had a system. Was a donated car, bone stock.
Love to see these well taken care of 90's classics. Beautiful. Those grannies are doing god's work taking care of their cars like this.
It's so booooootifull-l! I always liked this car. The Heartbeat of America....That's today's Chevrolet.
Ain't nobody gonna pay good $ for admission to THAT museum. The old Chevy hauled us as far as it could for as long as it could. But it wasn't as far as we needed to go
Man i have not see a chevy corsica in ages!! Wow amazing shape!🤩🤩
It’s really quite nice inside and out. Glad to see this one will survive.
What an awesome find!! Gotta respect the Corsica!!!

I agree, I had a 93' it was a dandy little car got close to 30 mpg hwy. 275k miles when I traded it in.
Gotta love the Corsica! Thank you for saving it!😊
Perfect old car. I expected you to CRUSH IT!
TYSM for saving this gem auto parts city! Epic!
Hopefully it will go to a good home with someone who takes care of it
This is the wrong junkyard for that to happen.
Someone would have to love it! It’s $6k on eBay 😳
Beautiful. That red velour is gorgeous.
I don’t like Chevys, but I had this as my company car in the 1990’s and it was pretty good.
They want $5995 for this. That is an insane price. Worth about $3000 tops. It’s not good for a car to sit that long
FR...it will need ALL the rubber replaced, hoses, bushings, tires, heck even sensors and all manner of things which rot or go bad over time. only an idiot like Tyler Hoovie would pay nearly $6k for that. 🤣

Honestly a beautiful car.
I had a 1992 Lumina Euro. Big Brother to this car
Id drive it❤
Listed for $5,995!!!! Why not a no reserve auction and let the people decide it’s value???
I guess it does have a “best offer” option
what a joke lmao
@@skytheguy0438I’m sure $3k will get it sold
Took my drivers test in my moms blue paint blue interior

Beautiful ❤❤❤
So glad to see it was saved. Thank you

Beautiful ride!
My first car was a Chevy Corsica v
2.8 V6 5 speed I loved it.
Sister had a 2.4l white 1998 Corsica sedan while I had a 97 beretta 3.8l
Coupe in turquoise

Wow, that's a one of a kind! I hope that you find a good buyer.
We had a purple one for drivers ed at my high school back in the mid 90's. Brings back memories seeing this.
I had a burgundy and gray one! Loved it.
What a beauty!
They are good longevity cars
Outstanding condition! Worth 1100. You guys are nuts
Yeah that’s not gonna sell for $6,000!
We got to borrow one in the late 90s interior and exterior were that reddish color no issues with a long extended road trip
My first car. I don’t really miss it but the interior makes me nostalgic.
What do you want for the seats? I don’t even need them, but I want them.
$5995. They are all you dude.
My first car, but mine was a '95. Interior was grey and the exterior color was a nice blue/green,
Those are quick cars for a sedan, love the interior.
Chevy Corsica and Ford Taurus where the cars that I did drivers training with back in the 90's

New fuel pump, new battery........ NEW LIFE! Perfect 1st car for someone.
Beauty
I had a lumina z34 in high school ❤
Mom had corsica hatchback for a long time.
For a moment I thought he was gonna be like "this one's going in the crusher"
large red tail lights... American beauty
Good job keep saving as many as you can!
When you opened the door, I could smell the interior.
I had one. Was a nice daily.
Those only lasted 4 years from showroom to Junkyard especially in Northern Illinois with Rust and the clearcoat peeling off
Even 3/4 tank full of gas.
Gotta love Nanny!
These were well made, the V6 2dr, the Beretta, was unusually fast.
Remember that it should also be listed on their own website. You can find the website by visiting this channel's about page
My grandma and my mom had one.
Nice car does the ac still work in it
I learned how to drive in ah corsica..soo many memories

6 cyl. 3 speed on the column.

Drivers Ed, summer of ‘95, Chevy Corsica
Like to see a chevy Beretta
Oddly the AutoCheck on the EBay listing reports a rear end collision in 2018 🤔🤔🤔
It’s a police report, maybe someone drove it without a registration or the po-po fat fingered a vin number 😂😂😂
These were great commuter cars.
Do not crush it, sell it!
Very nice!
Oh my God I always wondered when you were going to make a Chevy Corsica video haha
That’s a time capsule!
I might have to place a bid on this.
