I've been using FR-810B for about 7 years. Every work day. 7 hours a day. Never ever I have any problems with it.
I believe it worth every dollar.
But there is one thing I would make different. The hose a bit too heavy.
In my case I can't use fixture shown here. After 3 years of working I have started feeling pain in my right wrist.
So now I have to use wrist support to prevent injury. It would be nice if HAKKO can make house assembly more lightweight.
Also I have a question. Main unit become a little bit more noisy. It sounds like fan inside started to worn out. (if there is a fan)
Is any preventative maintenance available or I have to expect failure soon?
    Thank you.

The user interface looks like it is very confusing. Why dont you use some ideas of other cheaper hot air systems? I would love to see and have a Hakko with better screen and updated interface

It's obviously a production line device, with the chained settings ability and lockouts. It's way overbuilt and overpriced for a shop doing one-off small jobs. Too bad Hakko doesn't make a small shop/hobbyist hot air station.

Is this a training or a dizziness club
The music is very annoying and too loud compared to your audio.
It is very hard to hear you.🤯

Not a good interface. For the price, and considering the competition often does this better, we should all expect better. I mean, a simple phone can do so much. Why can't Hakko integrate a good interface?

yeah.really hard when need to change temp, but its perfomance better than quick 861dw

For such a price, you need a better product like Quick 861DW. After the Quick 861DW , the Hakko 810 sells little . You're late, then it will be a shame.

Hakko if you're listening, please listen to your customers feed back. You have great products but this Hot air station is a flop! First of, it is HUGE! Look at what your competitions are doing like JBC, MetCal, etc. The interface is a nightmare to use and figure out and that's an understatement. It's a hot air station and it's job is to blow hot air it is that simple! So why make it so complicated? I have this hot air station for over a year and I still have to take out the manual or watch a youtube vid because I can't figure it out. The holder is just not convinent at all. Look at Quick and see how they do theirs. Also you're asking for over $800 on this unit, that is 3 times the price of your competition. Also why make it round and not flat? So we stack it. With this round design it is impossible to stack anything on it. Doesn't it make more sense if you can stack it so you can save room? I don't get that design at all

I am a Hakko customer for 20 years. Hakko product is long life and very durable. It certainly worth the premium over those cheap ass Chinese clones. Speaking of maintenance and spare parts, nothing came close to Hakko.
