It's basically Konglish. English words that get "fit" into Korea syllables. I read hangul really slowly, so going to Korea was interesting. At times, I'd get very confused reading some of the hangul and not knowing the word. When in reality, it was an English word fit into hangul.
I just finished watching it in VIU and I really love this it is funny, light and don't have too much drama haha. I don't understand why do they have to ban this when it was clearly for entertainment purpose only and not to educate people about their history hahaha.. At least this helps other people to learn their history because we'll be curious and will search about the true story it was inspired on. Int'l viewers are not stupid if we want to know the history we could've watched a docuseries instead of a drama series lol

I may be late but i just want to say to those who are doubting whether to watch this series or not, YOU SHOULD! This may be a lil shallow to some critics and may have left a lot of questions unanswered at the end but its all about enjoyment and showcasing the actor's talent.. I am so picky when it comes to kdrama series but somehow this exceeded my expectations. You will find yourself hating a character but liking them at the same time cause of their good acting skills. The romance and comedy is there and it wont disappoint you, although watching it dubbed may take away a small percentage of its humor when it couldnt be translated in a right way . Shin Hye Sun is the perfect lead actress for this, she really embodied that character and im glad she had a major breakthrough in the acting industry. Kim Jung hyun- it is my first time to watch him so at first im not use to him... (perhaps im biased cause i have a huge crush on Park Bogum and i only see him as a king in any historical romcom series especially in his role in love in the moonlight) but Junghyun surprised me with his great acting skills and charisma. All of the side characters are amazing and their own side stories will not bore you. After watching this, I actually find it hard to look for another series as good as this😅 Hope someone takes this advice and watch this masterpiece ❤❤💋💋✌✌ you wont regret it!

My family run some kind of restaurant businesss and open for orders some Times.. in this drama there could be 50 person to feed with a full course on top of that.. and i was so struck on how it seems easy and fast to do it while in reality it took so much time T_T from preparing cooking and serving it
