- This is the predicted vs actual wait times at cedar point on a Friday night in mid October. We ride many popular rides including steel vengeance, Maverick, raptor, valravn, and many more.

Maverick takes so long to get onto and it breaks down so much
I go to cedar point 2 times a year and if you are planning to go it’s not always like this sometimes it’s so busy but they have fast passes and early admission for people who stay in the hotel
I go once every year and we get the fast passes 100% worth it.
I don’t know how much the fast passes cost there but at Busch Gardens the price fluctuates daily based on amount of people expected/in the park.. lately they’ve been $199-$279 for one fast pass.. over double the price of just admission alone. Roller coasters that hold more than 2 a row had a “single riders” line which was empty at all times.. I used this line and essentially “skipped the line” on several rides at least

@@brooke680 it’s depends on the ride and the time you go but their usually lower than 25 minutes
The hotels do not give you fast passes

Yes! My biggest tip is to during a week day during the summer or go on Friday nights during the fall!
@@caycayetteeven week days in summer can be PACKED. i’ve waited almost 3 hours for maverick on a wednesday in july🤷♂️

for people who stay at a Cedar Fair’s hotels, you usually get an early pass and a fast pass so you can get there before the public and cut lines. and usually I go during the week so it’s not that busy at all. I hope this helps if you go to a Cedar point! ❤

Sooo lucky! We got Fast Lane Plus and we waited like 30 minutes to ride Steel Vengeance yesterday 😩

I went to Cedar Point a week ago and I was able to ride Raptor and Valravn right away. When we got in line for Millennium Force, it was like maybe a 10-15 minute wait. The longest wait time for me was an hour and a half for Steel Vengeance.
Last week the longest I had to wait as like an hour and 15 minutes for valravn

*This is with the fast pass which is $120* normal lines are about 3x as much on a summer day

Fast lane+ solves all your problems. At Maverick I walked by 500 people right up to the loading platform 😊

And that's why cedar point and the other parks suck now. 3.5 hour wait for sv. Fast lane is ruining these parks and the one thing that amazes me is how many people that are in line with me make comments about it.

That’s why to get fast lane plus or just fast lane bc like when I went on maverick I walked STRAIGHT through the line and in a split second your on the ride
That is so nice! I bought a fast pass at Hershey and it was amazing! I think if you are at the park for only a couple days you should get it.

I’d rather times be estimated on the high side. Even with Steel Vengeance being 33 minutes actual vs 30 estimated I’d say that’s still a good estimate.

You have to go a little bit before the halloweekend stuff because there is zero people we walked in raptor, gatekeeper and valraven , millennium force was 15 mins and that was the most we had to wait

Cedar Point is a blast! Yes I have been to kings island but it was a long time ago. I plan on going soon! I also have my first trip ever to Hershey park booked!

Yes! I have multiple videos on this channel about the days I went to cedar point this summer and other ride wait time videos!
We went in a Friday on Halloweekends and these were pretty much the wait times. Except they said SteVe would be 15 minutes and we were in the line for over an hour then the ride broke down when it was almost our turn. But at least I got to ride Iron Gwazi a couple months later at Busch Gardens Tampa 😂
Fridays are usually pretty low wait times in the fall! It sucks when a ride goes down!
cedar point always over estimates their times. once i was in line for maverick and it said 60 but it was 30

Maverick always has a long wait 🥴 It is still my favorite ride and worth the wait 😁
Mav is longer because 1 it is a very popular ride and two each train only has a capacity of 12 people most rollercoasters have a capacity of 20-40 people
Maverick always has a long wait the longest I’ve seen I think is 3-4 hours
Because it’s an Intamin and for whatever reason they get long lines

Last week I heard someone had to wait 2 1/2 hours for maverick! I suggest going off season (close to the beginning of Halloweekend celebrations) and on a weekday. A Summer weekend at that place is my worst nightmare 😅
Halloweekends is always packed!
The problem is you can't put a static number on quantities like this. Prediction times are an estimate for an average, and it will always be different depending on when you go.
Only people who like roller coasters go to Cedar Point. It is almost a roller coaster park only. I miss
Geauga Lake Amusement Park.
It had a variety of rides and a few roller coasters. It was a park that had rides that were entertaining for all ages.
A lot of the rides from Geauga lake are at other parks now

I just went with a friend this week and it was pretty dead in the park. Basically every ride was a walk on besides steel vengeance for the two days there!

Pretty close estimates if you ask me. Also this was about right for me, except that Raptor and Maverick were wayyy longer (I mean the actual times) and also Steel Vengeance was like 15 for some... odd reason

This was filmed on a Friday night in September when crowds were very low. We were at the front of the park late at night, and lots of people were in the back of the park, so we lucked out!

I expected Steel Vengeance to be an hour since it was during the night but it was actually 25 minutes, and I was able to get on the very back row.
This happened very recently, I just got out of the park, and there are police cars everywhere, maybe a fight broke out, but idk.

This was filmed on a Friday night in September. If you are headed to cedar point Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are pretty short in the summer. If you can go in the fall during the month of September and October lines are pretty short on Thursday and Friday nights.
