Nothing like “tequila” to scare off a woodwind player lol 😂
Not careless whisper? 😂
I'm violinist please explain
@@jodiefire i play woodwind and I still don’t know
No, it's a count in if you are on an average job. 😢
Takes me to the BAR!!! 😂
the neckstrap thing is so relatable!! i always lose my alto strap..
Me too! I've had to use all kinds of things as a neck strap in a pinch 😅
I lost my mouthpiece for a whole month. It was INSIDE my sax between the B and G keys
Woah, I haven't seen that one before!
I have only played saxophone for a few years but i haven’t lost my neckstrap…
My ligature on the other hand😂
@@EveryDayImSufferinBUHNUHNEHNUHsame thing happened to me with my bari
I’m a saxophone player every where I go someone asks me to play careless whisper💀
FRRRRR
Actually tho 💀
Was about to comment that😂😂
I almost added a Careless Whisper segment, but there was too much to say to fit in this video 😂
dont forget pink panther 😭😭💀💀
I'm a saxophone player. Everytime I see my friends with their GFs, I start blasting Careless Whisperer
😂😂
I’m a french horn player- of course the rest of the band is always complaining that I am out of tune!
I’m a french horn player- of course I have the same part as the saxophones half the time
I’m a french horn player- of course there are giant piles of spit next to our chairs all the time.
I’m a french horn player- Of course non- instrumental people are going to see it in a case and say “is that a tuba?”
I’m a french horn player- of course I am going to complain about sleigh ride.
I’m a french horn player- Of course I can play trumpet.
I’m a french horn player- Of course I am a music theory geek.
I’m a french horn player- one minute I will be hating my instrument and the next I will be talking about how it is basically my whole life. 😃
So yeah.
These are great! 😂
god i relate too much
@@thesaxninja omg thanks 😂😂❤️❤️
Sax players rule. Always glad to see a female playing the horn. Keep up the good work.
Thats what they all say but we all know who really rules
@@elijahkashubinyes it’s trombone or any brass instrument besides French horn
@@definitelynotcampchikin AMEN
@@definitelynotcampchikinany brass instrument for marching band so you can crank on it. Sax better tho overall
@CampChikin
As a horn player, I took that very personally 😔😔
I _would_ play all of the different saxophones... *_IF I HAD THEM_*
Me too! I want a bari lol
That dress at 38 seconds is freaking gorgeous!
Thank you!
The brass one and the playing everything is so true
I love listening to the saxophone! And now I love looking at the player!
I'm a bass clarinet player, and in middle school my teacher always made me and the other bass clarinet play with the brass.
Same but instead my band teachers force the bari sax to play with the low brass
THE MOUTHPIECE ONE IS SO RELATABLE
I take the mouthpiece off turn it around and blow it the other way. And it doesn't take 3 seconds. More like .3 seconds.
Tenor Saxophone is my favorite Saxophone
What a Delightful, beautiful person you are!
❤❤❤❤
Love this ❤
I agree, i am in marching band in my cury as alto sax player and it hurts when i have to play when is raining
I can relate to all of these im a sax player specially alto
Thank you for being gorgeous. And very kind
SO REAL
I love this. Oh no... Tequila
That 2nd one.....
Ma'am i feel personally attacked this had NO right being this relatable
Haha the back and neck pain I feel that..and tequila gets me too..
Im a clarinetist and bc our big band officially doesnt have clarinets and we're getting the tenor sax notes, we are officially tenor saxophones!
Wow your pretty...❤
THE END IS SO TURE
Ngl the hair caught on the reed pissed me off so much 😭
I didn't even notice it happened until this comment 😅
@@thesaxninja lol, I thought it was intentional as well
I'm a saxophone player, of course someone at almost every gig asks to hear Careless Whisper😂😂😂😂
Yes
Nice 😊
Already subscribed ❤
I’ve seen someone spend all their life savings like on tubas, guitars, clarinets, Soprano-Bass saxophones, Baritone, Euphoniums, trombone, trumpet, and even more guitars 💀
You mean the guy who played "the lick" on 100 different instruments?
Always and forever relatable (tenor sax player)
A yes, the second best family of instruments Adolph Sax gave to the world.
Sax is a woodwind? Thank you for the new thing i learned today.
They are the coolest people
Getting a soprano soon🙌
The Hulusi appearing out of nowhere 😂
😅
“I’m a saxophone player. Of course Careless Whisper was the song me and my entire 6th grade band section learned the moment we picked up the instrument”
I haven't played sax in over 10 years and I still have neck and back problems.
It’s careless whisper for me, I’ve have an irrational hatred for that song now.
Good one!
IM A SAXOPHONE PLAYER TOOOO
I’m a saxophone player…I don’t give a shit if my reed is broken or not👏
🤣 facts! They are expensive!
❤❤❤ 😂
Literally my brother thought all saxophones have spit valves…he’s a trumpet for context
I wish! It'd be less gross if we did 😂
As a saxaphone player, Why is this so relatable 😭🤣😂
the one with the spit valve and back and neck problems be so true though
Triggered song should have been careless whisper but thats just me
I thought you were going to say of course I’m a saxophone player I have to play careless whisper lol 😆
The neck and back issues apply for trombone too lol
As a tenor the first one is so relatable
As a saxophonist, this is 100% relatable
As a saxophone this is pretty relatable
Any time I play my saxophone my neck has a pure red mark
NECK STRAP ONE IS SO REAL
Saxaphones really are the trumpets of the Woodwind section, because of maybe obvious comparisons, trumpets are really the only brass players who regularly switch brass instruments, it's wild.
That's true!
Im a saxophone player I agree
Whys this channel so underrated?
I play saxophone BUT... I'm 9 years old and I bin playing saxophone for 1 year now I know songs like high hopes lean on me hot cross buns mary had a little 🐑 and more Im inspired my the movie soul by the girl who plays saxophone in the movie yeah.. I was inspired so you should play saxophone yourself to!! And other introments like clarinet flute trombone and more are still good so be inspired by anything my message is me inspired! Thanks for reading this comment 💬 it meant so much and make sure to be confident ♡
Omg same I always forget that I have my strap on too!! 😂😂
Bass clarinet for the win bestie!!!😂
The lack of spit valve is so true 😂
lol! Yeah! Tequila PTSD!
I played trumpet, but I traded instraments with all the woodwinds and after 10 min to learn the proper fingerings and a little bit of practice in was able to play chromatic scale on all the instraments but the sax was the most difficult one in the school band also most fun woodwind it was my first choice of instrament after the band director said they couldn't teach me the violin but it was too expensive for my parents
Can you play the bassoon?😃
You got me, I have never tried to play bassoon!
I'm a saxophone player of course I NEED MORE REEDS I *LONG* FOE THE REEDS
*...BRING ME THE REEDS*
I’m a tenor sax player and literally all of my friends that aren’t ask me to play so many random things that we come up with at my school. And the neck and back pain so relatable got a neck strap that’s supposed to fix that though.
Tequila \O/
Well cool You play a lot woodwind instruments but the reality no every sax player plays all
Im a sousa/tuba and omg my back has never made me want to kms more 😭
I’m a trombone player, of course I had no ideal what you said and what it means
😂
No doubt, some of your back problems are coming from lugging that Walt Johnson around. What a beast. 2 things. Carbon fiber and back pack straps. I know that you want the best protection for your SBA(?), but you can get something lighter that do the same job. By the way, you sound Great!👊🏾
That is true! I'm curious about the new Boston Sax shop's cases but they are on back order. I am super paranoid about my SBA- especially when flying. If you have any other recommendations- let me know!
I’ve been using a JL Woodwinds (NYC) case for about 4 years. It’s similar to the BSS case. Carbon fiber, strong construction, back straps, snug fit for my VI and very light. I also have a Reunion Blues gig bag(I know), but I only use it locally and it never leaves my hands. I don’t use it in winter or bad weather. I also saw that BAM has one now. I used Walt Johnson cases for my tenor and alto when I was a young man, super protection, but at this stage in my life, I have to put my health in front of that of my horns. I just have to be more diligent about caring for them. What do you have your alto in?
Thank you! I just looked up the JL woodwinds carbon fiber case and it looks awesome! The only one they have on their website right now says it's made for vintage Conns though. I saw on a forum that they are releasing a new one for tenors soon, so I'll keep my eye out for sure! My Walt Johnson is starting to separate at the rivets, so I will be needing something else eventually. I barely play any alto and I've never traveled with it, so it's just in a generic hard shell Gator case. If I started flying with it, I'd want something better.
Flutes in my 7th grade band class literally thought that saxophones were part of the brass section🤦♀️
It's a pretty common misconception!
At least the flutes actually show up to school....
As an oboe player I can confirm cleaning spit out of reeds is personal.
Imagine being scared of the rain (brass guy here)
It sucks... rain is an expensive repair bill!😂 That's why I marched brass (Baritone)!
That last one is so relatable 💀
Saxophonists who always forget their neck straps
👇🏽
Im triggered by careless whispers 😂
I’m a saxophone player. The trigger for me was Yakety Sax
Oh, that is another one!
That is wild... i have done the strap thing too...
You know, when I was playing my sax, I was asked “What are all those buttons for?”
Haha I like the tequila joke
I always get put with low brass 😭
I’m a French horn player of course the band teacher is going to forget me even though I sit next to her desk and mistake me as a saxophone 😭
I’m a trumpet player now but I my friend plays tenor so he can relate
as a sax player, apart from the fact I only play alto and soprano, I agree.
That's still more than 1 instrument though!
It’s me Ryder from oyce! (the trumpet) you’re going viral!
😅
As a baritone player, my dumbass is like *_”that entire thing is a spit valve.”_*
🤣
I’m seeing multiple comments about losing neck straps. How does that happen? I can’t even imagine a scenario where you would lose your neckstrap. It’s the first thing you put on and the last thing to take off when you play, what are y’all doing ?
I guess I'm hard on them because I've had a couple break on gigs!
The neck strap is so true 😭
I'm a saxophone player. If you value your life, you won't ask me if I like Kenny G.
I played tequila at a school function once... To this day im known as "Tequila Man"
I feel very called out by the neck and back issues part, me and like every other saxophonist I know has their neck at a 45° angle
i've been called out lmfao
also can't forget the red marks where your neckstrap sits ofc
I played tequila for my concert i play trombone and i had a solo
Nice!
You also pay obscene prices for Theo Wannes!😂😂
I thought it was expensive too, until I tried it! It's the most versatile mouthpiece I've ever played and it made its money back 100xs over, so I can't knock the price anymore
Ty Instrument at the end was a hulusi
You play oboe too 😮😂!!!!!
That's one I haven't learned yet!
I just realized how bad I feel for all female saxophonists who have to deal with spit in their mouthpiece
🤣🤣
