It's not even just that. It's the fact his career could reach his mid 30's at Arsenal, he takes good care of himself, he's extremely versatile and once he loses his pace he can go central either in midfield or up top. He's going to win a load of trophies and likely be Arsenal captain while doing it. His legacy could be legendary. The fact he could break the Premier League assist record this season is incredible at just 23
One thing I would like to see Saka improve is his aerial abilities, I haven’t seen enough of it. Maybe because of his position, but R7 was successful on all wings, his header, free kicks, and central role. Saka’s hero is R7, I think we need to encourage him to get closer to his R7. He is consistent, has abilities to be world class, world class? Maybe 70% for me!
Saka is our most important player. He was carrying us under Emery and early parts of MA's tenure. Many fans will move on to the latest and greatest additions to our team but for me and apparently Arteta as well, Saka is Mr. Arsenal.
1 thing about Saka that his Assists numbers illustrate: he's getting more unpredictable. At this point, every team knows how Saka plays: he gets the ball on the right, he shimmies down the right a little more, then cuts in to his left to shoot. He is lethal with that shot, which is precisely why EVERY leftback (and usually a 2nd marker) guards specifically against that specific cut. Its his signature move and everybody knows it. This became a problem in certain games where he was quiet. The heavy reliance on Arsenals right side last season exacerbated this. He was still phenomenal last season btw which is a real testament to Saka's huge huge talent despite every defender knowing what to defend against. These Assist numbers though show that Saka is presenting a huge problem to defenders: yeah you can guard against his most lethal finish, but he can also put 1 in and let another player score through different ways. He's sooo effective at it. His set pieces are also more accurate and consistent now (moreso than Rice has been this season). This makes him much much harder to mark. Definitely gone up another level this season.
Jay Many thanks for your kind words and for raising an interesting subject I cant speak for James , but Arteta has set the team free tactically this season and we are seeing that in the roles of the full backs and how play is built around that. Arsenal breaking the rules with their shareholder loans, take their trophies away… oh wait!
Who invited Rashford??????
If you watch the show , you will understand why
THIS IS A FAN CHANNEL PLEASE VOIVE OUT HELP FOR OUR WOMENS TEAM. JONAS IS KILLING THAT TEAM
0:23 - when he wins a major trophy with Arsenal
he won the fa cup alr...
Fa cup?
Determining individual skill by team success is lazy analysis. Harry Kane is a world class striker and he’s won nothing.
@@MJR.99He's English and white. They're judged completely differently
Saka is better than Rashford. Or he will have surpassed him in 2seasons.
On this World class crap.....take for exemple Paul Gascoigne every english pundit considered him a World beater back to the day but What has the Guy done in his career ??!!Nothing....playing for Lazio and Rangers ?!!!Or Middlesbrough?!!!Lets be serious.....
Saka might have to join a bigger club than arsenal if he wants to win the prem of champions league
100% he's leaving for Madrid
@@smaugballer7337mbappe will move to barca, gotta move to a bigger club
@@snuggle7437 if Arteta can afford him when he's the manager of Barca
Saka is already at a big club,Arsenal is a legendary club whose lost glory is being reclaimed by King Arteta and the boys, this is the third year Arsenal is launching a sustained assault on the premier league title and they will surely cross over the line, I won't be surprised if they go very deep into the Champions league and even win😊 it, watch this space.
What the F is Sterling and Rashford doin in that Picture. NOWHERE NEAR PL Greats!
Leave it Arsenal Fans😆😂🤣
The 5 wingers who have 90 goal contributions in the PL by the age of 23
Nothing to do with greatness.
@@Graham_Brooks1 Your fcking title is "on course for greatness" so what do you mean it's nothing to do with greatness?
@@Graham_Brooks1 well that makes more sense... Arsenal Players of the last 20 years and Greatness should never be spoken in the same sentence!
NO NO NO HE'S NOT!!
You have to be very very careful some of the comments on some of the blogs about arsenal like a a sport radio station some of the comments about saka was from his own Ethnic minority and it was said by someone on the blog saka is not liked because he is BLACK.....playing the race card people are entitled to their opinions saka has to prove himself not because he's BLACK.......OK 👍
This is what happens when a bunch of nerds get together and watch football through a stat sheet instead of watching the actual game
But I did watch the actual game Rick
I was in the stadium on Saturday - Block 134 where I sit every home game
Saka dragged us over the line on Saturday
He does that quite a bit .
Where do you sit by the way ?
@@Graham_Brooks1 salah, Palmer, Yamal and Olise are all better than Saka 👍🏻 you probably sat in block 134 watching a calculator rather than the actual game
I assure you I watch the game mate when I am in the stadium
I am.a Arsenal fan ; have been for 53 years and I am fully invested in the team
Football is a game of opinions
You are entitled to yours .
For me Saka is world class
Not just his numbers , but what he does off the ball
He is better than all those players you name in ball recoveries; winning duels for example
That's apart from the attacking numbers
Most assists this season; most big chances created; most chances created .
Third most goal contributions in the league
You forget he is only 23
.
At 23 Salah wasn't as good.
He was at Chelsea when he was 23
He couldn't even get into.the Chelsea team
Olise is very talented . But he can't get into the French national team
Saka has played 45 times for England
And as good as he is , he will get even better
@@Graham_Brooks1 what does that matter? At age 20 Michael Owen was the best in the world at 26 he could barely play. Players peak at different ages you bozo. There’s absolutely nothing that guarantees Saka will become better than he is now.
@rickjames9566
The difference with Owen was simple.
He never became the player he could have become because his body couldn't cope and he was injury prone.
Saka has not done anything significant for the league. No PL medal, no golden boot, no top assist award, no player of the season award, no fans player of the season award, no goal of the season award, absolutely nothing
Would you take in your team 🤔
@@keanothailand Don't ask silly questions 😂😂 Course he would!!!
PFA young player of the year.
@@keanothailand yes I will take him to be a bench warmer and understudy to one of the greatest players the premier league has ever seen. Saka will never get to his level. But why will I take Saka when I can get Yamal and Olise who are much better than him?
@@ibrahimHuthman no body cares about the PFA young player of the year award. Even my grandma won it.
Saka has won nothing in the league, has no significant PL impact, no body knows him in Europe because he's made no impact. His most remember moment in International football is missing a penalty in the Euros final on English soil. He's not on course to become anything great.
Not known in Europe? Mate, his scored 3 goals at the World Cup for England in 4, has 9 GA in 11 games in the CL? Scored the leveller against Switzerland in the Euro QF which saved England from being knocked out early. Best young player in 2023 & England's back to back player of the year. Do you even watch football or are you you one of those dense people who just enjoy trolling?
@@bulelanikatikati8022 scored equalizer against Switzerland? 😂 you talk like his goal saved England from being knocked out by Brazil, Germany, Spain, Argentina, France, Portugal or Italy. Dude it was Switzerland, a team England shouldn't have been getting almost knocked out by
@@bulelanikatikati8022They're a weirdo troll, just ignore them
😢😢😢 you make me so sad when you say no one knows him. Boohoo boohoo. Get a life
@@TexasCannons oh sorry. I apologize for my earlier comment. Saka is quite famous. His known all over Europe as that Eng lish kid who missed a penalty in the Euros final at Wembley Stadium, England.
