@@AdiR9234 from what I’ve seen it looks like it may only be for people who have badges for the day. But I may be wrong and it could be helpful to ask one of the volunteers. One of the hacks at the Rady Shell also is that there is a walkway just outside next to the stage where you can have a good view of the shows for free.
Here’s some info I found: Becoming a vendor: - Apply through comic-con.org (email exhibitsales@comic-con.org) - There's usually a waiting list, so apply early! - You'll need to purchase a booth/table space Perks: - Early access to show floor (1-2 hours before doors open) - Separate hotel/parking sale for vendors - Exhibitor badges included with booth purchase Attending panels: - Yes, you can attend panels! 🙌 - No special access though - use general attendee lines.
If you didn't get a time slot through the exclusives portal for Hasbro, you most likely won't be able to wait in line for their exclusives. (I didn't get one myself) Hasbro is using the portal system to manage crowds and inventory. They usually have some limited quantities available on HasbroPulse.com after the con, so keep an eye out there. Also if you have a chance, ask one of the staff if there is a possibility that extra slots might open up at the booth. It doesn't hurt to check and theres a small chance you could get lucky. Good luck!
The panels are usually easygoing. Or walking the exhibit floor during the afternoon is much less busy. Taking it slow is definitely an option. Hope you have a great first convention!
If you need to get away from the crowds and heat, head next door to the Marriott hotel where you can sit and relax in the anime rooms and game room. There are always seats available and it’s nice and air conditioned. The anime rooms have been an oasis for me when I need a quiet place
@@jenniferguthrie5588this is helpful, thanks! But just out of curiosity, is there anything in the anime or game rooms? I think I’ll definitely be visiting there, lol.
@@restitution823 yes theres a lot to do at the Marriot in the Anime and Game Rooms. Many times you can sit in a theater environment to watch movies. The game rooms have a selection of games you can check out and play yourself or with others. The pinball and game room let you play for free. And the hospitality suite has tables and free drinks and snacks. I also like to sit by the pool when I'm taking a break from filming!
This will be my first comic con and the video helps a lot.

Great Tips for SDCC when going to an event like this. Plus food at SDCC can be expensive as well.
Thanks definitely food can be expensive and inconvenient. It helps a lot to bring some good food if possible 🙂

Newbie here, if you didn’t get a timeslot through the exclusive portal for Hasbro can you still go wait in line for their product exclusives?

I never knew how big this was....
It’s pretty big. On a Saturday I tracked about 8 miles of walking around the convention.
it iz a popular comic convention
Do you need a ticket to go the stuff at the Marriott ?
Yes for the things indoors but outside all the activations are open to the public.

Seeing how big this is gives me social anxiety. Not sure I'll enjoy my first con
