    For part B, i, you can simplify the logarithm to 2(log 4/x) which is probably considered the actual final answer

      I am sure that would be fine, but it did say a single log(expression inside), not 2log(expression). But I really would assume bit are correct for all points.

    For part B i, when simplifying the log expression to be under log 10, I put log10 (8x^5)(2x^2) / x^9. I didn't simplify what was inside any of the parenthesis and instead just kept it how it was because I remember you saying in one of your videos that as long as you made it to one singular log expression, you don't need to simplify any further. Do you think this will be ok? Or will I get points taken off for not simplifying further? Thank you in advance :)

      That’s a great question. Once the official scoring rubric comes out this summer we will know for sure. I’d like to think that will be viewed as correct but will have to wait and see

      I did the same thing, I didn't bother with simplifying because all it asked was to rewrite without negative exponent, and the answer you and I gave have no negative exponents and is a single log10 equation, so it literally matches what the question is asking for, it should be correct?

      Not 100% sure yet until the official scoring rubric comes out.

    for C, would i be marked down if I put both pi/8 + pin/2 and 5pi/8 + pin/8?

    • @mporinchak
      @mporinchak  4 месяца назад

      Yes but it should be pi/8 + pi(n) and 5pi/8 + pi(n). When you multiple by 1/2 to solve for x the 2pi needs to be multiplied by 1/2 as well

    • @porcupine8933
      @porcupine8933 4 месяца назад

      @@mporinchak why would it be +pi(n)? the period of tan functions are pi/B and in this case B is 2 because it’s tan of 2x so shouldn’t the period be pi/2?
