Fantastic trip report! The ground service was excellent, there's nothing better than having an airport tour in a private car, much better than on crowded bus. The seat was very comfortable. It's amazing to see the food freshly made in First Class.

I took Lufthansa a few times and last time was 3 years ago with 8 hours layover and the service was great. You can use the lounge inside or Just walk out the terminal and turn left walk 2 minutes you are there. I would recommand take on their special car rental deal if anyone a long layover like me. Cost only 99 euros for a Porsche 911 for 3 hours with 150kms and insurance included. Best way to see parts of germany with their Route suggestions and something to do on long layover. Even got GPS so you don't get lost. Just return car at the first class lounge and someone will pick it up and return it for you.

Look at the first and business class of other airlines, such as Etihad or Qatar airways. Way cheaper tickets and better service. Lufthansa lags behind. If the company continues to be so bad, they will fail soon.
The age of a plane really doesn't correlate that well with its safety. That has more to do with how well maintained it is; to that end, Lufthansa Technik is second to none in terms of aircraft maintenance. It's the same reason why airlines like Delta have such a good safety and reliability record despite having a very old fleet on average: Delta TechOps is amazing at what they do. Furthermore, Lufthansa is by no means "so bad" nor is it in any danger of "fail[ing] soon". Lufthansa has been around far longer than either Etihad or Qatar, and it'll be around long after either of those airlines is gone. The Lufthansa Group is a veritable behemoth of multiple world-class airlines, and is very well run, particularly when compared to the ME3, who are finally finding out that their current business models aren't all that sustainable and that they lack capacity discipline (especially Emirates).
CaptainDelight I was shocked the driver didn't even open the door for them and nobody was carrying their luggage - and they stood in line in the jetway when boarding the aircraft
CaptainDelight don't be silly, the 1% here can literally step on the service crew's backs and heads, as they lay on the ground, to keep dry. Outside the airport the 1% metaphorically steps on the rest of us 😋
obviously some great stuff. but kinda bothered that the chuffeaur did not assist with the luggage and they had to board in the same area as other passengers. first class seats seemed kinda not spectacular either
Beautiful combo of photos and videos that provide a good sense of the whole experience. Unlike some other (well-intended) trip videos, you don't get too immersed in details like every aspect of the menu or many minutes of take-off. There are some things that look better with Etihad but others look so much better with Lufthansa. The food with Lufthansa seemed better and generally I always felt really welcome as a person and not just as a passenger. I also like the aspect of the roses and the wide cabin, if I would fly Etihad, I would feel like in a golden cage. The one thing which Lufthansa needs to do is to get a bigger screen and develop business class.

Cabin crew has to stay during boarding close to their doors, due to law and safety regulations. That`s the downside, if you have not as much flight attandands on a flight, as there used to be. But the collegue in the cabin showed him his seat.
In first class you can choose out of 3 Windows, in economy class you sometimes have bad luck and you don´t really have a window as the seats are blocking the windows
God help you if you think a degree will enable you to afford pretentious shit like this. You would do better to fly economy and put the money you save into a car, mortgage or retirement. First class is only for assholes.

I agree the titles could be a bit longer 4+/- seconds with fade in/out. Cut parts where the video is too shaky/too much movement, use cross dissolves and speed changes to covey time. Overall, very genuine first perspective view of a wonderful experience. You're ready to experience something as magical yourself after watching this movie.

Honestly Eddie, if people want to move on then why are they here? The point of being here is to be entertained and informed. I agree with the others. If you're placing subtitles to describe stuff, then just keep them on the screen a little bit longer - if we can't both read the subtitles AND then have time to look at what they are referring to - then what's the point? If we have to pause the video or rewind, then you have failed. Continuously pausing a video to read, is no way to watch it! There are many flight service experience videos on YT and many are 20 mins long or even longer. Your notion that people will get bored after 10 minutes is just speculative. If the video is entertaining and informative - then the length shouldn't matter. If you're really concerned to cutting it down to 10 minutes, then just edit in other places like the walk from being picked up when you got down and then going to baggage claim for example. The fact that a few of us have mentioned that the subtitles disappear too quickly should make you realize that something is definitely wrong since it's not just one random person having an issue. I hope future videos will take this into consideration, thanks!

Hi, oh yes, I hope so ! But from my years as an airport worker I know that aircraft can be all over the ramp, off stand, anywhere on a busy day. I cant conceive of ferrying 300-400 people individually in the space of a few hours. Unless very few are booked.
I fly business class for work. Rack up the miles and redeem for free flights. 4 roundtrip domestic flights or 1 international domestic, many times i get a upgrade to 1st class as global services for united airlines.

Ryan Ahadi Etihad is obviously way better as a hard product (and more expensive). Emirates is as well if you can stand the cabin design. If it were offered to me for free I'd take it of course but I wouldn't book a flight on Emirates because I really hate how their suites look. And as a German I am very comfortable Lufthansa Service and I find that foreign airlines tend to over do it (for my liking)

Found a small mistake, during the boarding nobody took you personally to your seat. The Cabin Crew at the door entrance just showed u the way.

But from my years as an airport worker I know that aircraft can be all over the ramp, off stand, anywhere on a busy day. I cant conceive of ferrying 300-400 people individually in the space of a few hours. Unless very few are booked.
actually they have like 10+ cars so its never a problem .... Vans / Mercedes S Class / Porsche Panamera & Cayenne

I fly business class for work. Rack up the miles and redeem for free flights. 4 roundtrip domestic flights or 1 international domestic, many times i get a upgrade to 1st class as global services for united airlines.

Ryan Ahadi Etihad is obviously way better as a hard product (and more expensive). Emirates is as well if you can stand the cabin design. If it were offered to me for free I'd take it of course but I wouldn't book a flight on Emirates because I really hate how their suites look.
And as a German I am very comfortable Lufthansa Service and I find that foreign airlines tend to over do it (for my liking)
